The Alu kiteboard is the sharpened shape to tear it up in onshore surfing.
Presentation
The Aku Kiteboard planes early, with a back foot providing support for heading upwind and getting out past the waves, while remaining a board dedicated to radical surfing.
The big plus of this board is its incredible dynamism. In onshore or mediocre conditions, one often needs more acceleration, the ability to head upwind, and speed. With its powerful tail, the Alu takes off immediately and delivers these three essential qualities for mobility on the water.
As soon as you start surfing, it reveals its dynamic shortboard nature! With its narrow nose and rails, it performs strongly in both small, soft waves and big, powerful swells. It knows how to be radical in a variety of conditions.
In strapless mode, you have a board that will love freestyle thanks to its significant pop. The tail works miracles here too. And with the board’s surface concentrated between the feet, you have a board that will naturally stick to your feet in the air.
It’s THE ideal onshore kite surfboard.
NOSE
Its nose drives easily through the chop and it cuts through the water without bouncing. The rails are thin so the board can be radical. It is a 100% surf oriented shape.
The length is standard to retain maximum control with a significant portion of useful rail.
ROCKER
This new shape focuses on performance in average conditions. The rocker is slightly tighter at the back compared to a side shore surfboard, combined with a wider tail and a fairly straight outline in the rear third for excellent planing, heading upwind, and very good stability at high speeds. This shape also allows for more kite power, being able to handle overpowering winds because the length of the immersed rail is greater than on a very round board. Edging is much sharper and constant: the board doesn’t wander.
HULL
Hull design is important for combining strong edge grip and maneuverability. The wide channels provide better directional control. They channel water and accelerate flow to bring higher speed in waves and normal riding. They also offer more smoothness in water contact despite gaining rigidity and solidity in the board’s structure. You are more radical, fluid, comfortable, and totally in control.
Ridge Traction Pad
With its perfect grip and 5 mm thickness, the new Ridge Traction Pad offers you absolute comfort and traction. Your footing is completely secure, and your control is surgically precise.
The contact with the board is firm and direct for flawless handling. At the same time, it retains the cushioning of a 5 mm pad.
FSP 2X Technology = Strength, Lightness, and Durability
The FSP 2X kitesurf boards range features a high-end construction with a full 3 mm thick PVC sandwich (80 kg/m³), combined with biaxial fiberglass reinforcements. This process ensures an exceptional balance between stiffness, durability, and lightness. Completely waterproof, the shell effectively protects the EPS foam core, preventing any water-related damage, even in the event of impact.
Thanks to the FSP 2X technology, you not only benefit from an unmatched strength-to-weight ratio at an affordable price but also from simplified repairability. In case of impact, repairs can rely on a solid base and blend perfectly with the surrounding material. The PVC foam prevents infiltration, thus ensuring the longevity of your board.
Result: a construction designed to last, perform, and remain reliable over time.
FSP 2X Kitesurf Technology
The FSP 2X technology is easily repairable when new in case of a Ding. The PVC foam of the sandwich is waterproof and prevents water from entering on everyday shocks. The EPS foam blank does not deteriorate because it is really protected from water. And the repairs have a much larger support to stick on and blend seamlessly with the surrounding material.
This technology offers, at an affordable price, the incomparable strength/lightness ratio of full vacuum PVC Sandwich.
- 3D Shape on modeling software.
- Preshape by the numerical control for total reliability.
- Shape control by traditional templates, finishing of the last mm 100% by hand.
- 100% Epoxy Board and EPS Blank Foam: solid and lightweight.
- Deck, hull and rails in PVC Vacuumed Sandwich: incomparable strength and incredible dynamism.
- Deck: integral PVC/Fiberglass Sandwich composed of a high-density PVC foam core and 2 layers of 4oz fiberglass and 1 layer of 6oz Biaxial fiberglass, fiberglass reinforcements on sensitive areas.
- Hull: integral PVC/Fiberglass Sandwich composed of a high-density PVC foam core and 2 layers of 4oz fiberglass and 1 layer of 6oz Biaxial fiberglass, fiberglass reinforcements on the sensitive areas.
- Specific Foil reinforcements: high-density PVC block housing the two US Rail Boxes. Three layers of carbon cover the Boxes. Laminated PVC slats connect the reinforcement to the deck for maximum durability.
- Rails: the PVC Sandwich structure completely covers the rails: increased structural strength, very good shock resistance.
- Hot Coat integrated Tinted Resin: nobility of the process, weight reduction and solidity of the finish.
- Matt custom finish, hand-made, for weight reduction and better glide.

Buying guide
For whom ?
For intermediate riders to pro: this is not a complicated board. You put your feet on it and it works. No need to twist your stance to feel locked in on the board or to go upwind.
The intermediate will appreciate its natural glide combined with its radical drive in the waves. Mobility on the water is the key to pleasure in many sessions.
The pro will love its pure surfer DNA. In beautiful onshore waves as well as in hellish chop, the Alu kiteboard is extremely effective, including in strapless freestyle.
For what?
Surfing in onshore conditions, that’s the essential program of the Alu kiteboard. Ideal for those who want to make the most of mediocre conditions.
But it doesn’t shy away from a freestyle session under the feet of a good kiter.
What size ?

Ideal conditions ?
Ideal wave size: from almost nothing to big.
Power: it performs best in normal to hollow waves and doesn’t mind slashing the shorebreak!
Aspect: it goes everywhere, even in choppy conditions and wind.
What’s the ideal kite ?
The Alu kiteboard will work wonders with a wave kite that will maximize your performance in surfing, but also with a Unik in light wind, for example.
Quiver partners ?
You can complement the low end with a Kite foil board when the wind is really light.
When the wind is stronger, more side-on, and the waves more substantial, a Lethal will allow you to go even further in radicality.
In light wind, a Matata will be a real compliment for freeriding or surfing in soft waves.
And in freestyle, a Catch kite or a Fatal will be real complementary tools.
Which settings ?
The Alu kiteboard is set up in Trifin with FCSII boxes. You are free to mount the set of fins of your choice. All FCSII fin models are available on our online site.
Strapped or strapless ?
Riding strapless is sexy because you feel free. You find the sensations of surfing and have mobility on the board to play in the waves. It’s a very pure riding style but difficult to master.
With straps, you are sure that your board will remain attached to your feet, even in the most committed aerial maneuvers. You will have much more control and performance is a notch above. Watch out for landings !
So it’s up to you to see if the sensation outweighs the performance. Put your straps in the central position (3rd hole) for the front strap, and likewise for the rear strap if you always ride with straps.
If you want to be able to take out the rear foot for transitions and surfing, place the rear strap in the first hole from the back.
