The Slab is nestled within the GONG Space Center, a space dedicated to watersports in the heart of nature. It's a living space open to everyone: watersport enthusiasts and those curious to explore our world alike.

Whether seated at a beautiful wooden table, on a swing at the counter, or in an intimate alcove, The Slab offers more than the typical restaurant environment: it's situated at the heart of a shop spanning over 1000 square meters, adjacent to our shaping workshop, R&D facility, and all our services.

Amidst a thousand boards, exotic plants intertwined with raw wood creates a warm and exotic ambiance. Our teams also welcome you to our terrace nestled between palm trees and reeds. It's the perfect place to chill and refresh after a session.

Freshness and seasonality of our products


The team at the Slab offers finely selected, varied, healthy, and quality dishes on a menu that evolves all year round. A diversity of fresh dishes is served on the menu at lunchtime: from royal sea bream ceviche to poke bowls, including must-haves like the double cheeseburger (with homemade fries, obviously). These recipes draw inspiration from a journey marked by surf trips to the other side of the world, encounters with enthusiasts, and childhood memories.

A team of passionate individuals

Our team is passionate and dedicated. Former owner and chef of two restaurants on the Guérande peninsula, our Chef Fred Ardouin knows the local producers perfectly and has been a fervent practitioner of our sports for years.

His second, Justin, from England, specializes in seasoning dishes. He grew up in Brighton, a cosmopolitan city, and uses his experience in world cuisine to enhance the chef's creations.

Our partners also share our values and our love for the region. The local producers who accompany us are numerous, such as Emma. Together, we contribute to the development of the region, and we put good local products on your plates.

Ocean friendly restaurant


The Slab is certified by the Surf Rider Foundation as an Ocean Friendly restaurant. The criteria are diverse but have a common objective: to protect the oceans. A charter that perfectly corresponds to GONG’s holistic approach to environmental preservation. Namely an approach where we activate every lever that can limit our impact on nature. For a company like ours, this means exemplary sustainability of products and operating methods in production and logistics that generate a minimum of pollution.
