GEAR: A RANGE OF HIGH ASPECT FOILS THAT CELEBRATES 10 YEARS OF R&D
In May 2014, we launched our range of Allvator foils. Since then, we have continued to innovate to move the...
The stab that over-boosts glide and speed thanks to its incredible efficiency.
The Veloce H stab feels like it’s not even there.
Thanks to its reduced drag, it boosts glide and planing of the foil: a dream stab for downwinders, freefly and fast pumping. This is the stab for pure glide lovers.
With its long shaft, the lift remains generous given its reduced drag. An unbridled, controlled acceleration for maximum speed and the best possible planing for your foil.
The impressive efficiency of this stab allows for a clear feedback underfoot, without ever slowing down the foil. This results in a very fast pumping and endless glide to fly without limits over waves and bumps.
Thanks to the reduced surfaces of our Veloce H stabs, maneuverability is not compromised despite a much higher span. Longer carves will simply be favored over radicality.
The Veloce H has an aspect ratio of 9.6 to ensure the best possible hydrodynamic performance. It has a very high lift/drag ratio to provide maximum stability and support while generating minimum drag.

The outline of the Veloce H is sleek, with tips slightly set back to move the lift center of the stab backwards and increase the leverage of the stab over the whole lower. This makes it possible to undersize the stab’s surface, thus improving drag and comfort at high speeds.
The profile of the stab is optimized to provide maximum torque to the lower while generating minimum drag. The glide of the lower is boosted and you can keep excellent control of the foil.

The dihedral of this stab is light to maximize its efficiency. The glide is boosted even further.
It also unlocks the foil in yaw, increasing freedom of movement and maneuverability.

The fuselage of the Veloce H stab is long, to provide increased stability at high speed and an exceptional lift/drag ratio. This long connection makes it possible to undersize the surface of your stab. The loss of maneuverability is therefore recovered through a reduced wingspan/stab surface.

Buying guide
For foilers looking for extreme planing and pure, unrestrained glide for maximum performance.
Downwinders and freefly, because this stab shines with glide, acceleration and support like no other. This is truly its playground of choice.
It allows for a fast and efficient pumping of the foil, making connections of waves or catching up with sections a breeze.
General information on the choice of stab sizes:
The preferred size will depend on your foiling discipline, your level, your weight, the conditions of your spot but also your front wing.
A larger stab will make take-off easier because the foil will generate a significant torque which will tend to give it a significant angle of attack. This also implies more front foot pressure.
A smaller stab will be more technical on takeoff but will boost speed and maneuverability. We also lose some front foot pressure, which means having to move the foil forward in the boxes to regain this stability.
Always adjust the size of the stab to the size of the front wing to obtain a balanced flight and functioning harmony between these two components.
