With its ultra-light and rigid UPE Aramid structure, we were able to refine the diameters by almost 15%. The Ayto DP gains enormously in lightness and glide, with formidable accelerations in all phases of flight.
The Double Profile innovation is a revolution in terms of flying quality of a kite. By combining stability and speed, it ensures undisturbed air flow. Your kite gains 30% efficiency: it goes faster, lifts you higher and longer, accelerates in less wind, is more stable at the zenith... It is better in all aspects of flight and steering.
We have pushed the reduction in diameter on the tips even further with the Low Drag System which was first invented for wing foiling: very thin tips which do not drag air. The rigidity of the tip is ensured by a small carbon batten. More speed, predictability, and precise handling because your rear lines activate the carbon batten: zero inertia, zero deformation, the kite reacts instantly.
Loops are executed with formidable precision. The simple kite loop is no longer a challenge with the Ayto: double, S, triple, all the latest tricks are on the menu. You always have a controlled loop, with a kite that never chokes, ultra-responsive and that renews energy.
Besides its qualities for sending huge tricks, the wow effect of the Ayto is having the handling/glide feeling of a 9m2 while being on a 12m2. It's shocking! It turns like no other. The Ayto DP is a pro kite, requiring significant experience and commitment to be utilized effectively.
The Ayto DP is an ultra-maneuverable high aspect kite. Extremely lively and fast, it offers incredible lift and thanks to the addition of the Double Profile, stability throughout the window with an extraordinary catch! Multiply loops and stay in the air.
Ultimate kite for big air and kite loops, it is also appreciated in unrelated programs but which require maneuverability and a lot of speed in the window (fast waves for example).

With its high aspect ratio, the high wind range is truly where the Ayto shines. The lightness of the UPE Aramid allows the Ayto DP to gain stability in low range compared to the Ayto Perf Series.
Keep in mind that the longer your bar, the easier it will be to turn your kite. Also, remember that the smaller the kite, the easier it will turn. So, the smaller the kite, the more you need a smaller bar to balance behaviors.
Conversely, the larger your kite and the more you use it in light wind, the slower it will be. A longer bar will have a greater leverage effect to compensate for this natural loss of reactivity.
Therefore, consider these parameters to choose the size of your bar and adapt the steering to the feeling you like and the conditions encountered.
If you want smooth and progressive steering, then you should “undersize” the bar. If you want more reactive but less forgiving steering, you should choose a longer bar.
For example, if I want smoother steering with my 9m2, then I will go for a 46cm bar.
If I want hyper-reactive steering, then I would go for the 52cm bar.
Oversizing the bar will have little interest and paradoxically will result in a feeling of heaviness in steering in the case of the 62cm. This one will be perfect, even essential in light wind. But in stronger winds, it will be slower to untwist and manipulate.
Between the 46 and the 52, there is no sensation of heaviness. These are two very close bars.
Note also that the 52 is perfectly usable on all our kites. No kite will not work or perform poorly for this reason. The 46, 57 and 62 are just optimizations for perfectionists.
It should also be noted that two bars generally age only half as fast as a single bar for the whole quiver ?
The key size is 52cm; it is the most versatile bar that you should choose if you want to have only one bar for a quiver 7-9-12 or 8-11 or even 8-10-13. If you want to add a second bar to your quiver, here are our recommendations with GONG kites:
The recommendations below are based on the behavior of GONG kites. Since our bars are compatible with a large number of kites, you can adjust your choice according to the type of kite used.
Your Feel-X bar comes standard with 80cm front lines, 19m of lines, and 3m extensions already mounted. The original setup is the most versatile and will be your best choice for 90% of your sessions.
One of the main advantages of the Feel-X bar is its great tolerance provided by its shape. By playing with its lengths, or even modifying them with our extensions (sold separately), you further enhance its versatility!
Note that 22m and 19m are not extreme line lengths and remain a fine adjustment to your piloting sensation.
Equipments
All our kites are obviously compatible with our FEEL-X bar but also with 95% of the bars on the market. If in doubt, equip yourself with a complete set (x4) of pigtails: PIGTAILS.
Remember to equip yourself with a pump ;-)
