Beyond its groundbreaking qualities, HDCC technology embraces the no-volume board concept. Our new “Novo” range introduces shapes where volume is minimized to the essentials. In kitesurfing, excessive volume can be a drawback, making the board bounce unnecessarily, whereas thickness is less critical when the kite provides vertical lift. With a stance lower in the shape and ultra-thin rails, the responsiveness and precision in turns and maneuvers are simply stunning.

The volume reduction made possible by HDCC technology— the only one capable of providing the necessary strength for such thin boards—delivers an incredibly refined feel on the water. Just as twin tips evolved from thick to thin and flat in the early 2000s, Novo boards are revolutionizing kitesurf boards by optimizing the essentials: surface, rocker, and rails.

RAILS

With their ultra-thin rails, the no-volume boards in the HDCC range strike the perfect balance between performance and pure surf feel. HULL

With its deep channels, the Chemical HDCC optimizes water flow for fast drainage and superior control at high speeds. By channeling the water efficiently, it maintains perfect alignment, enhancing stability, performance, and comfort—all while remaining effortlessly accessible.

DECK

With its large nose, the Catch HDCC provides better support against the wind, ensuring optimized control during jumps and rotations.

Thanks to its two integrated channels on the deck, catching your board becomes child's play, especially with such a thin and light board. This allows you to fully focus on your kiteloop and master your landings at full speed with increased precision and ease.

The HDCC revolution

Resistance and Durability:

High temperature molding provides a better bond between fibers and resin, increasing mechanical strength and durability under high stresses. The mechanical properties of the board remain stable even when exposed to high temperatures.

Lightness and responsiveness:

The full carbon prepreg lamination allows homogeneous and optimized distribution of the resin. All excess weight is removed without compromising strength. The boards are thus lighter and more efficient.

Precision:

Molds allow parts to be manufactured with ultra-precise tolerances. This improves the aerodynamics and hydrodynamics of the products.

High Density foam blank:

The foam blank used is an extremely expensive and efficient hydrophobic material used in aeronautics. It provides exceptional structural rigidity and longevity while maintaining a light weight.

Zero waste:

Unlike manual lamination which can result in excess resin and fiber, in-molded manufacturing optimizes material usage, minimizing waste and reducing the environmental footprint of production.

Low price:

The lower price compared to this exceptional technology is due to the efficiency of construction. Less human labor (about a quarter) equals lower expenses. Simply, with this board, you're primarily investing in well-assembled premium materials.

For what?

This responsive and aerial board thrives in freestyle.

But it also excels in the waves, delivering a ride full of snaps and airs.

Ideal conditions?

Ideal wave size: from nearly nothing to shoulder-high.

Power: it performs best in soft to medium waves.

Aspect: it handles all conditions, even in chop and wind.

Best kite match?

The Catch will perform wonderfully with a wave kite that maximizes your surfing performance, but also with a Unik in light winds, for example.

Quiver mates?

You can complete the lower range with a Kite foil board when the wind is really light. For more hollow and fast waves, and a purely surf and radical use, the Chemical 5’6 HDCC will be the perfect complement to the Catch HDCC.

What adjustments?

The Catch HDCC comes in a trifin fin configuration with Futures boxes. Feel free to choose the fin set that suits your style.

Equipments

HDCC kitesurf boards are equipped with a 5 mm tail pad for maximum control.

The full carbon fin boxes are compatible with Futures fins.
