The 107 cm HM carbon mast is a masterpiece of technological expertise. Glide, rigidity, lightness, and precision: this is the benchmark mast for riders seeking top-level performance in racing.

With its 107 cm, this mast is the largest size available in the V3 fuselage range. Fully dedicated to racing, it provides outstanding performance while maintaining flawless control.

Although less maneuverable than the 100 cm, it is fully compatible with all V3 components, making it an essential choice for competitors or freerace aficionados. It proves to be the ideal tool for achieving high speeds and maintaining flawless stability in the most demanding conditions.

The High Modulus Prepreg Carbon construction boosts the fiber content in the composite. With more carbon and less resin, it becomes incredibly rigid and responsive.

Along with the material work, their application is carefully designed and calculated. The flex and twist are fully controlled by optimizing the orientation of the carbon fiber layers. Additionally, the high-density core of the internal structure is strengthened with a 50-layer carbon double stringer.

As a result, we achieve powerful dynamics even with thinner thicknesses and more fluid profiles than structural ones.

With a thickness of 13.5 mm, this mast offers exceptional hydrodynamics. Its slim profile minimizes drag, enabling impressive speeds while maintaining optimal stability. Perfect for front wings under 100 cm, it’s tailored for riders aiming for pure performance with fast and reactive small wings.

In kitefoil, this mast stands out for its ability to sustain high speeds, even in tricky conditions, while providing excellent maneuverability for long, fast tacks and technical transitions.

For wingfoil, the 107 cm length is ideal for freerace and race riders wanting to push the boundaries with perfect control. It keeps you above the chop, providing exceptional stability and giving you the confidence to perform jibes and tacks at full speed with no compromises.

Shape
PERFECT LENGTH FOR RACE

The 107 cm length is ideal for top-level racing and slalom. You can perform strong counter-heel and go full speed without flinching.


CONSISTENT THINNER THICKNESS

The mast geometry is designed to deliver maximum glide and stability on all water conditions. The lower half of the mast has a thickness of 13.5 mm with a consistent profile. This allows for superior glide with no flexibility or twist. The upper part is designed to reinforce the mast's rigidity. Even with its large length and thin profile, this mast maintains exceptional stiffness, giving you full control.

INTEGRATED RAKE PLATE

The 1.5° rake integrated into the plate raises the nose of the board.  The higher front foot position offers comfort at high speeds and tolerance during touchdowns. This design allows you to push harder with the front foot for increased acceleration.



A more efficient foil shape

One of the key elements in the evolution of this range is the complete redesign of our foils to increase their structural and hydrodynamic qualities.

The V3 fuselage is:

  • faster
  • more rigid
  • more resistant
  • lighter

The new round shape allows a 12% gain in glide and the thicker section approaching the stab increases the strength and rigidity of the foil.

Hours of calculations on extremely powerful computers have allowed us to optimize the smallest detail to maximize performance. The fillets of all our connections have been carefully studied and adjusted to minimize hydrodynamic disturbances and increase the rigidity and resistance of the assembly.

Carbon HM

The TORAY M40J High Modulus carbon used on our Team Series range offers incredible rigidity. It is a high-end carbon that delivers high mechanical properties while remaining resistant. A carbon used in aeronautics as well as for high-end sports equipment.

Its mechanical characteristics, such as its superior tensile strength and Young's modulus, allow for exceptional performance on the water.

Retro fitting

The entire range, from the fuselage, to the mast, to the front wing and the stab, has been revised to radically boost the performance of our foils, without being limited by our old connection shapes.

However, this choice to change all of our parts could not be considered without continuing to offer compatibility with our old ranges.

We therefore offer a wide choice of fuselages which gives you the freedom to mix all our masts, front wings and stabs, whatever their generation.

Carbon HM Mast Technology

High Module Carbon offers unparalleled rigidity, representing the pinnacle of performance in our most advanced wings and masts, which face the most demanding structural constraints.

Made entirely of High-Modulus carbon, this construction is all about performance. Its exceptional fiber properties enable us to design daring and technically sophisticated shapes.

The products have no flex, the fibers are oriented along multiple axes to lock in bending and torsion, ensuring maximum responsiveness.

Thanks to pre-impregnated fibers, we can guarantee optimal resin usage, providing perfect cohesion at the lightest possible weight.

Each layer of carbon is carefully hand-assembled around a high-density hydrophobic foam core, in a steel mold. A central stiffener is integrated to increase rigidity without compromising on lightness.

The mold is then subjected to high pressure and heated to 150°C to solidify the carbon. The foam core, seeking to expand under the heat, ensures even compression between the carbon layers, ensuring a strong and durable structure.

Durability and repairability are at the heart of our development philosophy. Our foils are tested and proven by dozens of team riders, hundreds of employees, and thousands of customers worldwide. Even in case of damage, our products can be repaired multiple times, ensuring exceptional longevity.
