Presentation
Developed for the GONG Team, made up of multiple World and European champions, the Racer excels in slalom, race, and long distance.
The perfect board to meet all their expectations in competition, whether on flat water, heavy chop, or in light to strong wind conditions.
To reach very high speeds in competition, you need a small, thin, fast foil that performs mainly at high speed. And yet, you must also be able to take off early, especially after a fall or in light wind. The Racer’s shape is therefore narrow and gliding to give you the best performance across a huge range of use.
The particularly streamlined nose with its bulb, rounded rails, and narrow outline allows you to ride full speed and engage in maneuvers without hesitation. Reduced wind resistance, painless touchdowns, performance is pushed to the maximum without stress.
A major innovation in the deck design improves comfort with a recessed deck in the pad zone. The board is thinner, and you control the foil more directly.
Another innovation: centered fittings that place the rider in the middle of the useful volume. Balance is perfect before takeoff since the board doesn’t pitch up. It glides flat, rider centered, and all that’s left is to pump. Huge gain in low end, especially with very large 8m² wings for example.
Another innovation: a strong positive rake at the tail = more margin at the nose, therefore more comfort at high speed and more forgiveness on touchdowns. It also gives a stronger feeling of acceleration under the front foot thanks to constant push. This is a major feature of this model for high-speed control.
And the new diamond tail is thick to facilitate takeoff and extend the low end, allowing the board to glide flat before flight with feet in the straps, even in 6/8 knots. The flat rocker and sharp edges maximize glide and planing, windsurf-style, while providing excellent rebound in case of touchdowns (no sticking) and smooth glide in water contact with the pointed nose.
The very straight tail rails, and more generally, increase stability at a standstill, offering more balance for the same size and volume.
Thanks to our FSP Pro technology (full sandwich PVC and carbon), the Racer is light, stiff, responsive, and extremely strong.
To further optimize this super racing board, we developed a specific pad. The Griptoe Traction Pad is a real game changer in terms of control and comfort for racers of all levels. This new grip guarantees perfect contact and hold with the board.
There are many stance adjustment options, and the rear strap has double anti-rotation screws. With the pad providing powerful grip, your stance is solid in perilous situations at over 35 knots. Having firm straps and strong grip is a true commitment factor. This board is mounted with non-extended boxes to save weight.
Available in 5 sizes, from 5'0" (69L) to 5'8" (109L), there is definitely a Racer to meet your expectations.
If you want to fly past your friends in freerace, or compete at regional, national, or even world events, the Racer is the ideal board.
Outline
The very narrow outline of the Racer has been specially designed to allow maximum glide and to take off early even in the lightest winds.
Its ogive-shaped look also offers minimal wind resistance to reach maximum speeds without struggle.
Its reduced width also allows you to take very steep leaning angles without touching the water. This is a significant comfort gain to stay at high speed even on choppy waters, for example when going upwind.
Flat rocker + integrated rake
The overall very flat rocker maximizes glide for an early planing start, windsurf-style.
The positive rake of 1.5° at the tail provides more front foot pressure and better foil control at high speed by allowing constant push into the front foot. It also gives more comfort in choppy waters by lifting the nose at all speeds. And in case of touchdowns, the impact on the water is softened, the board does not stick.
Hull
The flat hull is 100% planing. The water flow is optimal and allows maximum glide to take off extremely easily and quickly, even with a small foil. You can reduce your front wing by 200 cm² for the same takeoff.
Flat over the rear half for maximum glide and clean contact. V-shaped hull with a very light double concave at the front to soften full-speed touchdowns and to favor takeoff.
Tail
The thick and wide diamond tail facilitates balance and launch before flight.
The very falt rocker at the tail, with an integrated rake angle, ensures optimal glide on the water before takeoff. Touching down at full speed is not an issue.
Rails
Straight, sharp rails at the tail give the Racer more glide similar to a windsurf board. The sharp edge provides more glide and release, making the takeoff phase easier.
At the center, the rails are less vertical. At the nose they are very softened on the front third for even more comfort and better glide before flight.
You can ride on the water, in contact, without any harsh braking: perfect in case of a mistake during a full-speed racing maneuver.
Nose
The bulb on this narrow nose helps balance the volume of the board and gain stability at rest.
The nose rails are rounded so that no edge catches the water. Glide is perfect.
The bulb, narrow outline, and rounded rails make touchdowns completely painless. Instead of slowing down, the Racer will bounce on the water and take off again immediately.

Buying guide
For whom?
You need to have a good level because the Racer is a board with a very narrow width, designed to maximize performance in speed and takeoff in light wind.
In large volume it’s manageable, but if you choose a volume adapted to your weight, holding on your knees in choppy water won’t be easy. So you also need to be in good physical condition to stay sharp.
It’s clearly the board for those who want to push wing foiling to its maximum potential in speed and racing.
For what?
The Racer is a slalom/race/speed board, designed for competitions such as slalom, racing, long distance, and speed records.
Ideal in both light wind and strong wind depending on the volume, it delivers the performance required at the highest level.
Clearly, its job is to go fast without you even thinking about it.
It takes off super early even with foils under 550 cm², provides control at very high speeds, and offers forgiveness for mistakes.
Note that it gains a lot in comfort and takeoff in the very low wind range. The goal is to be able to ride on the water in almost no wind, with a very large wing, and take off at the slightest gust. The Racer is therefore a stable and perfectly balanced board that maximizes pumping to take off with minimal wind.

Delivery
Delivery delay
We indicate a preparation and shipping time of 3 working days. In reality, the majority of orders are shipped within 24/48 hours.
The delivery time, i.e. delivery time of the package to your home, then depends on the delivery location and the carrier.
We work with reliable and efficient carriers. 99% of shipments go perfectly and quickly. In the case of the remaining 1%, rest assured that we will do what is necessary with the carrier.
Shipping fees
Unlike other sites, shipping costs are not hidden behind the price of our products. You know exactly what shipping costs you, and you are not disadvantaged if you choose to collect your order at our GONG Space Center.
Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight and volume of each package, and your delivery address.
Tracking your package
Delivery tracking is managed directly by the carriers to whom we have entrusted your packages. They will contact you by email or SMS to allow you to choose delivery methods and follow the route of your package.
Carriers
We work with the best transport societies to deliver to you throughout Europe and the world within very short deadlines. We chose them for their quality of service and their compliance with deadlines.
For mainland France, 80% of your orders arrive at their destination in less than 48 hours of processing.
For Europe, delivery times vary from 3 to 6 working days, depending on the country of destination.
For the rest of the world, delivery times depend on transit time and customs clearance time. This delay depends on customs and can last from a few days to a few weeks depending on the destination and seasonality.
Please note, transport time is added to preparation/shipping time. Two companies collaborate on your order (GONG and the carrier). Each one masters its activity and is committed to optimizing its deadlines so that you are delivered as quickly as possible and at a reasonable price.

Receipt of your product

Despite our requirements and all the care we take in the packaging and protection of your product, transport hazards may occur, and your product may suffer more or less significant transport damage.
Note that the products are protected in their carton. If you have any doubts, simply refuse delivery and contact us.
