The Ypra Freestyle is a pure freestyler: explosive pop, instant relaunch, total control.
Designed with our World Tour riders, it aims for a single objective: to link tricks with power, amplitude and precision.
This is the 2025 world champion wing, and it owes this to a perfect balance between acceleration, forgiveness and control.
Its 7.8 ratio provides incredible speed for a strong charge before the impulse. You arrive at full throttle, without instability or stalling, you release the throttle and the catapult does the rest.
At low speed, it maintains solid lift: takeoff is immediate, acceleration is brisk, without ever unexpectedly stalling.
The fast and stable profile transforms every foot pressure into propulsion, while maintaining a level of forgiveness rarely seen in this category. You can skim the surface without losing control, and retain control even on the most challenging landings.
Its mid aspect ratio provides the necessary forgiveness for relaxed riding while maintaining an ultra-responsive repop. A bit more wingspan than a Surf Freestyle model for higher top speed, while retaining a lively and precise rail-to-rail feel and perfect pop control.
Its natural speed is astonishing, allowing you to link maneuvers at crazy heights, even on flat conditions. You can glide effortlessly from low to high altitudes, with excellent rail-to-rail consistent performance in all conditions.

OUTLINE
With a 7.8 aspect ratio, positioned between the Ypra Surf Freestyle and the Ypra Slalom, you get the best of both worlds. Excellent maneuverability without sacrificing control allows you to lock into a rail before the pop.
The wing takes off very early, lifts strongly, accelerates, and turns in a very tight space.
The curved leading edge increases maneuverability and pop, and its outline is straight to optimize rigidity and hydrodynamic performance.
The surface is centered with a curved leading edge to maximize rail-to-rail, boost lift at low speeds and provide exceptional pivoting.
FAST PROFILE
The Ypra Freestyle's profile is fast for accelerating before the most committed tricks.
It works over a wide range of angles of attack: immediate takeoff, powerful repop, firm re-engagement on reception.
This profile is very stall-tolerant, allowing the wing to operate across a very wide range of angles of attack, even at low speeds. This results in easy takeoff and perfect recovery upon landing.
With its deeply concave underside, it also takes off with little speed and requires little energy to pump. On the edges, there's a lot of front foot pressure. You push hard forward and as soon as you release it's like a catapult.
HIGH ANHEDRAL
The pronounced anhedral angle keeps the board tips away from the water, maintaining control at high speeds and during hard turns. You feel confident at high speeds, incredibly maneuverable while maintaining a firm grip under the front foot, and in complete control upon landing.
SHORT FUSELAGE
The fuselage is shorter than on the rest of the range to increase the foil's responsiveness, agility, and maneuverability. The goal is controlled instability via the front foot, allowing for a transition from stable flight to monstrous pop in a fraction of a second. Reducing the foil's front-to-back span is a key factor in achieving this pop.
This also has the effect of slightly moving the mast forward, and therefore boosting maneuverability.
HORIZONTAL TIPS
The tips curve horizontally at the ends to boost maneuverability, making drifts and snaps easier. In short, you can fly sideways without making a mistake. This is useful in many tricks and landings, for example.
It also generates lift without increasing drag. The result is easier takeoff, improved glide performance, and powerful pop.

The Ypra Freestyle has gained control because its DNA is also inherited from the Ypra Slalom. This allows for strong acceleration before takeoff, with complete confidence, and for launching into orbit with maximum speed.
If you're looking for a cool, stable foil with great glide, the Ypra Freestyle isn't it. This is kangaroo country.
What size?
Available only in size M for optimal compatibility with the Ypra Freestyle V3 S stabilizer.
This combo offers the responsiveness, speed and control sought by top-level riders, world champion configuration inside.
Which stabilizer?
It is designed for the Ypra Freestyle S stabilizer, but there is nothing preventing it from being mounted on other Ypra stabilizers:
-> The Surf-Freestyle stabilizer, with its shorter fuselage compared to other V3 stabilizers, will boost the pop of your setup. In addition to its jumping ability, it will radicalize your turns and offer you tremendous responsiveness. It remains relatively docile and will simply enhance all your maneuvers.
-> The Slalom stabilizer if you want a bit more wheelbase and less front foot. The setup becomes more stable, but smoother, easier to navigate, but you lose pop.
