Racing, slalom, long distance, freerace: it’s THE board.

Presentation

Developed for the GONG Team, made up of multiple World and European champions, the Racer excels in slalom, race, and long distance.

The perfect board to meet all their expectations in competition, whether on flat water, heavy chop, or in light to strong wind conditions.

To reach very high speeds in competition, you need a small, thin, fast foil that performs mainly at high speed. And yet, you must also be able to take off early, especially after a fall or in light wind. The Racer’s shape is therefore narrow and gliding to give you the best performance across a huge range of use.

The particularly streamlined nose with its bulb, rounded rails, and narrow outline allows you to ride full speed and engage in maneuvers without hesitation. Reduced wind resistance, painless touchdowns, performance is pushed to the maximum without stress.

A major innovation in the deck design improves comfort with a recessed deck in the pad zone. The board is thinner, and you control the foil more directly.

Another innovation: centered fittings that place the rider in the middle of the useful volume. Balance is perfect before takeoff since the board doesn’t pitch up. It glides flat, rider centered, and all that’s left is to pump. Huge gain in low end, especially with very large 8m² wings for example.

Another innovation: a strong positive rake at the tail = more margin at the nose, therefore more comfort at high speed and more forgiveness on touchdowns. It also gives a stronger feeling of acceleration under the front foot thanks to constant push. This is a major feature of this model for high-speed control.

And the new diamond tail is thick to facilitate takeoff and extend the low end, allowing the board to glide flat before flight with feet in the straps, even in 6/8 knots. The flat rocker and sharp edges maximize glide and planing, windsurf-style, while providing excellent rebound in case of touchdowns (no sticking) and smooth glide in water contact with the pointed nose.

The very straight tail rails, and more generally, increase stability at a standstill, offering more balance for the same size and volume.

Thanks to our FSP Pro technology (full sandwich PVC and carbon), the Racer is light, stiff, responsive, and extremely strong.

To further optimize this super racing board, we developed a specific pad. The Griptoe Traction Pad is a real game changer in terms of control and comfort for racers of all levels. This new grip guarantees perfect contact and hold with the board.

There are many stance adjustment options, and the rear strap has double anti-rotation screws. With the pad providing powerful grip, your stance is solid in perilous situations at over 35 knots. Having firm straps and strong grip is a true commitment factor. This board is mounted with non-extended boxes to save weight.

Available in 5 sizes, from 5'0" (69L) to 5'8" (109L), there is definitely a Racer to meet your expectations.

If you want to fly past your friends in freerace, or compete at regional, national, or even world events, the Racer is the ideal board.

Luxe footstraps

A major upgrade for this edition: the FSP Pro range is now equipped with a set of Luxe V-shaped footstraps.
Adopted by our team, these Velcro-adjustable footstraps provide millimetric, tool-free adjustments, both on land and on the water. The result is an immediate gain in precision and control.
Each footstrap combines:

An internal Velcro-adjustable structure with semi-rigid reinforcement, for optimal arch support.
A double-lined neoprene cover, ensuring comfort and softness even during long sessions.

The attachment adapts to all configurations thanks to a three-hole plate, compatible with one or two screws. And with the dual-insert system, twisted straps are a thing of the past: the anti-twist effect guarantees a perfect hold, giving more stability and precision in every maneuver.

Recessed Deck

The recessed deck allows for a more direct connection with the foil, optimizing responsiveness and precision in foot pressure. By lowering the center of gravity, it enhances the board’s stability and delivers exceptional control, even in challenging conditions. A feeling of total mastery for a smoother and more reassuring glide.

Multi-position rear strap

Anti-rotation rear inserts: doubled at the front and rear of the strap, they eliminate any twisting and maintain a constant shape for ultra-precise drive and maximum power transfer.

Result: reinforced control, increased comfort, and immediate re-entry after a tack or jibe, without ever getting stuck in a deformed strap.

Carbon reinforcements at the strap inserts, under the heels, and the footstep area.
Rails: the PVC sandwich structure completely covers the rails: increased structural strength, very good shock resistance (paddle, knee and harness hook impacts).

For whom?

You need to have a good level because the Racer is a board with a very narrow width, designed to maximize performance in speed and takeoff in light wind.

In large volume it’s manageable, but if you choose a volume adapted to your weight, holding on your knees in choppy water won’t be easy. So you also need to be in good physical condition to stay sharp.

It’s clearly the board for those who want to push wing foiling to its maximum potential in speed and racing.

For what?

The Racer is a slalom/race/speed board, designed for competitions such as slalom, racing, long distance, and speed records.

Ideal in both light wind and strong wind depending on the volume, it delivers the performance required at the highest level.

Clearly, its job is to go fast without you even thinking about it.

It takes off super early even with foils under 550 cm², provides control at very high speeds, and offers forgiveness for mistakes.

Note that it gains a lot in comfort and takeoff in the very low wind range. The goal is to be able to ride on the water in almost no wind, with a very large wing, and take off at the slightest gust. The Racer is therefore a stable and perfectly balanced board that maximizes pumping to take off with minimal wind.
