Wing Foil Board Cruzader Point LW FSP Pro

Program
The ultimate glide in light wind, in a reasonable length.
Presentation
With this 4th generation of the Cruzader Point LW, our board entirely dedicated to light wind, you are guaranteed to take off before you even feel the wind on your face. Combined with a Sirus and a Droid, it’s unbeatable. And with a Veloce, it’s delightful!
Once again, the LW integrates all the evolutions of the Cruzader Point, with full commitment to glide performance in the lightest winds. No compromise has been made to stay true to this demanding program.
Big innovation on the deck to improve comfort with a recessed deck under the pad. The board is thinner, and you pilot the foil more directly.
The “aircraft carrier” outline optimizes the offset to bring you more comfort and options. There is clearly more room for the back foot to manage turns and foils with huge spans. Thanks to the wingers, we keep a super narrow hull, and thus all the magical glide of this board.
The hull of the Cruzader Point LW is particularly narrow. Its rails are rounded and laid down on the front two-thirds, like a true ogive that slices through the water with minimal resistance. At the back, the pin tail is thin, and its rails are sharp, to optimize glide even further.
Every detail of this Cruzader Point LW is designed to offer the purest possible glide with minimal effort.
Beyond the quest for glide, we boosted its pumping capacities. The tail is very particular on the LW: the maximum thickness is just behind the back foot. Then it drops at the tail with a recessed deck and a kicktail on the hull. The result is a board that propels you forward at every pressure on the back foot. The foil engages very early, and flight kicks in. It’s revolutionary.
Never again a day without being able to fly. All light wind sessions with swell will be yours. And if you ride on inland or gusty waters, this is the magic board.
The 6 sizes available, from 5’9 x 80L to 6’11 x 130L, have widths ranging from 44 cm to 53 cm. Slim and 100% performance.
For more accessibility, the 5 XL sizes, from 6’0 x 99L to 6’11 x 149L, offer widths between 60 cm and 68 cm. More comfort, while staying ultra efficient in light winds.
For those who use “no volume” boards, you can be sure to find in the Cruzader Point LW a second board to enjoy light conditions, with the most incredible takeoff without having to go too long.
You have dozens of strap setup options, centered or offset, which can be oriented more surf-style or more symmetrical freeride, and a perfect pad for strapless. With its extra-long boxes, the Point LW will adapt to your desires.
On top of being beautiful, the Cruzader Point LW is light and very stiff thanks to its hyper solid and durable FSP Pro construction.

Outline
With a very narrow outline, glide is ultimate to gain speed effortlessly and take off in just a few pumps. Note that in light wind conditions, balance is rarely an issue, so we maximize glide.
The new deck plan optimizes offset by giving more space for the back foot. Thanks to the “aircraft carrier” type shape, you benefit from a wide deck while keeping a very narrow hull. This wide deck lets you easily handle large-span foils, for example.
A winger subtly links the narrow tail to the wide deck for a striking look.
Flat rocker
Thanks to a flat rocker, the glide of the Cruzader Point LW is a real advantage in light wind. You don’t need to go for an oversized wing. Forget 8m², a 5m² is plenty. And you can use high aspect foils to gain glide and thus apparent wind. No need to pump in flight to accelerate with this fast combo. You fly effortlessly in 6 knots.
To further optimize takeoff in light wind, the kicktail frees the hull and reduces touchdowns in waves.
Hull
The hull of the Cruzader Point LW has a fully streamlined nose and a completely flat center, offering uncompromising glide. Water flow is optimal and allows maximum glide for ultra easy and fast takeoff even with a small foil. You can reduce your front wing size by 200cm² for the same takeoff.
Tail
The pin tail of the Cruzader Point LW is magic for glide and minimizes drag to the maximum. Combined with its kicktail, the bulk is reduced to a minimum and comfort during touchdowns is optimal.
The maximum board thickness at the rear strap boosts pumping by accentuating the rebound of the cork effect. As soon as you push with the back foot, the board drives forward. The foil engages much earlier, and you fly with even less wind. Magic!
Rails
Straight and sharp rails at the tail give the Cruzader Point LW more glide, like a windsurf board. The sharp edges add more glide, more drive, and make takeoff easier. At the center, the rails are less vertical. At the nose, they are very softened over the front third for more comfort in surf and better glide before flight. You can ride on the water, in contact, without any sudden braking: excellent when surfing.
Nose
Point nose for maximum reactivity and a touch of extra safety in turns, reinforced by the nose bulb that makes takeoff and repop easier.

Buying guide
Who is it for?
The Cruzader Point LW is designed for experienced riders who want to take off as early as possible. Perfect for those hungry for sessions.
This maximum take-off ability is also an incredible asset on tricky spots such as lakes, river arms, or wind sheltered areas.
It’s also an essential board if you live near a spot with “asthmatic” wind statistics. And there are plenty—considering the global average wind speed is only 8 knots. Don’t stay stuck on the beach: fly with the Point LW.
Note: its “Point” tips demand solid balance. You’ll need good experience and fitness, even if light-wind conditions are rarely rough.
What is it for?
Its program is broad:
- Light wind: be the first to take off.
- Cruise in light wind to discover new spots, clear your mind in total silence.
- Chain together carves, tacks, and jibes in 8 knots.
- Surf, surf, surf.
- Downwind freefly.
- Occasional freerace.
This board is capable of taking off very, very early while still delivering outstanding performance. Flying in almost nonexistent wind—so light you barely feel it on your face—is pure bliss. Almost as radical as extreme high wind, light wind is paradoxically ultra-demanding. You need the right gear, because even with great technique, riding under 8 knots is extreme.
It will give you the best combination of easy take-off, smooth tricks, and stylish surfing.
What board size?
Which foil?
The Cruzader Point LW works perfectly with all high-aspect-ratio foils, especially the Sirus and Veloce, which not only accelerate but also fly very early.
Curve H: the carving + lift combo.
The queen of carving and low-end range (which doesn’t mean it can’t rev up!). Also the most comfortable for pumping, letting you link connections without burning your legs.
Fluid H: the carving + speed combo.
Perfect for super-tight turns, high speed, smooth glide, and highly reactive riding. Add a powerful pop, and it’s a foil that goes absolutely anywhere—on the water and in the air!
Veloce H: the glide + speed + carving combo.
A true freeride and wide-surf machine, ideal for freefly and downwinders. It glides endlessly, connecting bumps with unmatched smoothness. It accelerates strongly on waves yet has a low stall speed, making flight easy in any conditions.
Veloce HDW: 100% glide with its 13+ aspect ratio.
Focused purely on infinite glide, the Veloce HDW is the queen of downwind and fast pumping, but also light wind, with endless acceleration and superb upwind ability.
Sirus: the king of light wind.
Extreme lift while maintaining glide to create apparent wind—this is the magic recipe of the Sirus, letting you ride for hours while others are stuck on the beach, even in small waves.
Ypra Surf: the fast surf foil.
Delivers maximum control during intense surf phases: high speed, steep drops, steep faces, aggressive turns. Its lower volume also prevents harsh repops that could throw you off. Everything stays under control.
Which stabilizer?
We recommend pairing a Fluid H V3 stab with your Veloce H V3 front wing. Together, they optimize the lift/glide ratio for perfect harmony.
The ideal size depends on your board, level, weight, spot conditions, and front wing. We’ve calculated all stab/front wing pairings so that, for example, M always works best with M across all models.
That said, you can play with sizing:
- L for FW M: more front foot pressure, firmer support, calmer behavior, lower speed. Reassuring but less performant.
- S for FW M: less stability, more liveliness, faster acceleration, more radical. Very performant but more unstable.
Note: instability is also a quality—for pop, and to some extent for surfing. The upside of instability is responsiveness. It’s up to you to decide if that’s what you’re after.
