GEAR: THE NEW SIRUS V3 IS ONLINE!
The benchmark front wing for pumping, known for its spectacular glide, is now part of our V3 range! New pumping...
The wing that mixes low-end, very high aspect ratio, and exceptional glide for outstanding performance!"
The Sirus takes off effortlessly and glides like crazy. Even better: it remains maneuverable!!!
With this front wing, you're guaranteed to fly: dock start, of course, flat start too, and even winging in light wind or surf/SUP foiling when it’s soft and slow.
The Sirus offers the best combo of glide and low-end performance. You can fly with so little energy, it’s hard to believe. And yet, it won’t max out in speed when you push it.
This V3 edition is significantly lighter and benefits from the self-tightening V3 connection: the more you ride, the tighter it fits. There’s no gap possible, which means more precision, responsiveness, and control.
The glide improvement on the new V3 fuselage is around 12%—that's huge! Especially for low-end performance and pumping. Plus, the almost round shape of the fuselage eliminates all small lift inconsistencies for a pure, perfect feel.
In dock starts, as soon as your feet touch the board, you feel the extreme lift of the Sirus. That’s the first impression. And immediately, you think, "Wow, this thing glides like crazy!" You clearly get the high-aspect ratio glide, even at low speeds. But the most impressive thing is the wing’s rigidity and maneuverability. Nothing flexes, so all the forces are put to work. No unwanted movements or delays—it's sharp and responsive.
In flat starts, after just a few tries with the 186, you find the lift. A few more attempts to position your feet correctly, and you start pumping... and then your mind is blown: you can fly on your own strength!
In SUP/surf foil, you feel like it wants to take off with the first few paddle strokes! Once airborne, the glide is mind-blowing: the wing seems to glide forever, giving you control through turns, and as you come off the wave, pumping becomes easy! You can link sections endlessly and glide on the swell. Then, when you grab a paddle and put this Sirus under a downwind board, you enter a whole new world of possibilities: paddling into the swell, taking off, catching a distant line to cruise ahead of the peak, and carving endlessly in complete silence.
In wing foiling, the Sirus is the ultimate light-wind reference! Days without flying are a thing of the past. With the right pumping rhythm, you're up in the air, even without wind. Once airborne, you can feel the water flying beneath the foil. You point upwind and generate so much apparent wind that riding in 6 knots becomes a breeze. What seemed impossible a few years ago is now routine. Add some bumps or a small swell, and you’re in paradise: endless surfs and infinite moves. Whether you're riding on a lake, a river, or inland waters, the Sirus will give you incredible glide to make the most of your spot, even in tricky winds. It smooths everything out and lets you savor its magical glide. A must-have!!!
Its profile is extremely, extremely, extremely efficient in generating lift. First, because it was developed to perform from the low-end of pump foiling speed ranges. Then, combined with a huge aspect ratio, it produces glide that, in turn, generates significant lift, even at very low speeds. The slightest ripple or a good paddle stroke allows you to take off. Even a small push makes the foil glide incredibly far. Its high aspect ratio, with an elongated outline and very thin tips, offers record-breaking glide. Just by mounting it on the foil, you can feel the wing's potential. The limit will never be the same again.
The Sirus range is designed with an aspect ratio that varies according to size to best suit all rider builds and the desired discipline. From 9.3 to 20.1, the ratio increases with the wingspan. However, they are all high-aspect front wings that offer unmatched glide, which is crucial for pumping and surf foiling on small waves.
The Sirus L with its 116 cm wingspan and 9.3 aspect ratio maintains impressive rail-to-rail transitions for its wingspan. It is perfect for pumping for a smaller, energetic rider who wants to carve or for a heavier rider in surf foiling or SUP foiling.
The Sirus XL with its 136 cm wingspan and 10,9 aspect ratio maintains good maneuverability, making it possible to perform long turns on moderate and soft waves. Its pumping ability is formidable, as is its top speed, making it the most versatile size for low-end performance. A must-have.
The Sirus XXL with its 156 cm wingspan and 12,5 aspect ratio sits on the edge between a maneuverable foil wing (FW) and a pure pumping wing. Flat starts are relatively easy for lighter riders, mainly because its decent maneuverability allows for corrections and helps you exit long turns. It’s fast and offers enough lift to rest between pumps or pump sequences. In wing foiling, it's getting quite large, so it’s best reserved for heavier riders under 8 knots.
The Sirus 3XL is impressive in its dimensions, with a wingspan of 186 cm and an aspect ratio of 15. The performance is mind-blowing, as is the glide and lift. But what’s even more impressive is that it remains entirely manageable for its size. These qualities make it a pumping machine: even the smallest impulses allow the foil to glide incredibly far—it’s just stunning. Plus, you’ll find it really easy to take off on the flat.
The Sirus 5XL with its 249 cm wingspan and 20.1 aspect ratio offers an unprecedented lift-to-drag ratio: you can maintain flight just by paddling, without pumping!!! Flatwater takeoff has never been easier, especially for larger riders, and distance records will be shattered!
The outline of the Sirus is paradoxically designed to maximize its rail to rail so as not to penalize its control and maneuverability given its giant wingspan. The leading edge is rounded like a Fluid and the trailing edge has an inverted omega shape. This allows a precise distribution of the outline surface. The lift is very centered in the wing, carrying your weight, and the very thin tips allow you to glide far without locking the rail to rail of this front wing. With a load-bearing core and movable tips, the whole set remains very manageable and therefore develops an impressive maneuverability for a wing of this size.
The profile is relatively thick across the central two-thirds of the front wing, and even very thick compared to its chord. This provides tremendous lift, even at low speeds, making it easier for dock starts or SUP foiling.
The profile is supercritical, with a pronounced camber on the rear of the intrados. This enhances lift while delivering incredible glide, allowing for an impressive average speed for the type of use it is designed for.
The camber is relatively low and follows a slight negative curve (downward) in its center and goes almost horizontal towards the tips. The wing feels super healthy and predictable. It’s stable in the water and the flat tips allow you to go in shallow depths. This shape allows you to concentrate all your energy in pumping rather than in constant micro adjustments.
The new self-tightening V3 connection revolutionizes the fitting between the front wing and the fuselage. This innovative system ensures an even more precise fit and increased rigidity, eliminating potential play and unwanted vibrations. This improvement allows for a more direct response and optimized energy transfer, providing you with a smoother and more efficient pumping experience.
The glide gain from this new round V3 connection is over 12% compared to the V2 fuselage. This is a significant difference that propels the Sirus even further.
This new fuselage also allowed us to redesign the fillets between components for a considerable reduction in drag: a 50% decrease in drag over the first 10 centimeters of the V3 mast, thanks to the optimized fillet on the V3 fuselage.
Technical sheet
Buying guide
It’s a front wing for riders of a good level who want to fly no matter what.
On the flat, it’s demanding on the cardio and relatively technical, but you quickly get the hang of it and progress physically. And frankly, it feels really good! You’re having a blast and you get in shape on a magnificent and original piece of equipment: what more could you ask for?
In short, you need a good technical background to take full advantage of this front wing, but it remains accessible. The small sizes are obviously easier to manage than the very large ones which will be more locked. But to fly on the flat you will need a giant front wing.
These wings are specially designed to take off before all the others and glide longer.
Perfect for pumping, fast without requiring a lot of energy, the possibilities are endless on this front wing. It covers ranges of use which no other foil set-up did until now. This is the wing that puts your practice of short distance racing with your friends on hold. Ok, no one is stopping you from continuing, we love it too. But three friends, each with their Cruz and their Sirus, will be able to challenge each other like never before in a standing start race.
In detail for each sport:
The Sirus wings in sizes L, XL, XXL, 3XL, 5XL are aimed at all body sizes because as the saying goes he who can do more can do less. A big rider will find himself light, and a light rider will set new personal records.
The L has a wingspan of 116 cm, 1450 cm², 2.2 cm thick for a volume of 1.74L.
The XL has a wingspan of 136 cm, 1700 cm², 2.3 cm thick for a volume of 2.13L.
The XXL has a wingspan of 156 cm, 1950 cm², 2.3 cm thick for a volume of 2.44L.
The 3XL has a wingspan of 186 cm, 2300 cm², 2.3 cm thick for a volume of 2.91L.
The 5XL has a wingspan of 249cm, a surface area of 3100 cm2, it’s 2.5 cm thick for a volume of 4.11L.
Generally speaking, a bigger front wing will be used in the low range use or in soft conditions. And conversely a smaller wing in solid conditions. What you need to remember is that the choice of your wing depends on your size, which requires lift, and your average speed, which generates lift.
In SUP foiling, the Sirus is a perfect match for typical DW boards such as the NOTW or Intruder. The narrower the board, the more you will exploit the potential of this front wing.
For dock start, a compact board like the Kluber is perfect.
The stab must be buoyant and of sufficient surface to lift these large buoyant wings.
The mast must be very rigid. And all the more so if your balance is hesitant. So it is almost mandatory to use the 70 or 77HM mast with a 19mm thickness dedicated to giant wings and dock starts.
The stress on the fuselage when pumping is not as extreme as the one of landing a jump in wing foiling for example, but it generates material fatigue with the constant repetition of the effort over long periods. For this, we strongly recommend using our Titanium Pro fuselage for your pumping sessions. The heavier you are and the larger your front wing, the more essential it is.
The range of use of these wings is to fly when nothing else can. So it is perfectly complementary to all the other practices that your quiver allows: SUP, wing foiling, surfing, surf foiling etc…
As an alternative to the SIRUS V2 stabilizers, the FLUID V3 stabilizers will provide you with surprising dynamism and high-performance capabilities. You will benefit from the new V3 Titanium fuselage in an ultra-rigid setup, effectively transferring your impulses to the foil and achieving efficiency as high as the aspect ratio of these wings.
For the beginners on GONG foils, place the top plate in the middle of the US rails.
The more you move it forward, the more it makes the board pitch up. The further you move it backwards, the more the nose of the board dives.
Be careful not to move it too far forward. We often tend to forget to use the back foot, especially when we have a kite foil background. However, moving the foil back a little forces you to put more weight on the back foot and gives a more harmonious attitude and reduces effort.

The front wing comes with all the necessary hardware for mounting it to the fuselage:
2 M6x25mm screws.
