Raf discovered the Sirus XL V3 with a SUP foiling session in small knee-high waves.

SUP foiler: Moritz, GONG team rider, with a Cruzader Diamond FSP Pro, HM77 mast, Sirus V3 front wing, Curve V3 stab and Carbone Pro paddle.
Conditions and setup
“After yesterday's test of the Sirus V3 XL in flat start, it was micro waves today, knee height sluggish waves, and the water was choppy because it was a bit windy. Sirus V3 XL 136 cm / 1700 cm², Fluid H V3 stab 3xl 44 cm / 236 cm², HM 77 cm mast, prototype board 7'0“ x 22” 110 l. Me, 178 cm and 68 kg.”
The lift of a Curve H 4XL, the maneuverability of a Sirus XL
"Perfectly suited, the Sirus is ideal for surfing these very small conditions. For sure, take off is noticeably more difficult than with the Curve H 4XL. At first, in a spot area with poorly oriented wind, taking off was tricky, whereas with the Curve, I can take off facing the (light) wind. Further up on the spot, this time with the wind at my back, take off became much easier. And once in flight, I noticed a huge improvement in maneuverability compared to the Curve, it was easy to control and make the most of these small waves. The glide also saw a nice improvement, with speeds of 20-21 km/h each time, whereas with the Curve, I top out at 17-18. It's hard to compare the glide; both perform excellently in this area and glide through the flat sections of the spot without issue.
Overall, the Sirus is the logical progression from a large Curve, which I think remains perfect for takeoff in almost no wind and for beginners doing flat starts. The Sirus is more technical, requiring more physical effort to take off, but it offers a noticeable performance boost once in the air."
