Foil Sirus V3 - Carbon HM 70

Program
The wing that mixes low-end, very high aspect ratio, and exceptional glide for outstanding performance!"
Presentation
The Sirus takes off effortlessly and glides like crazy. Even better: it remains maneuverable!!!
With this front wing, you're guaranteed to fly: dock start, of course, flat start too, and even winging in light wind or surf/SUP foiling when it’s soft and slow.
The Sirus offers the best combo of glide and low-end performance. You can fly with so little energy, it’s hard to believe. And yet, it won’t max out in speed when you push it.
This V3 edition is significantly lighter and benefits from the self-tightening V3 connection: the more you ride, the tighter it fits. There’s no gap possible, which means more precision, responsiveness, and control.
The glide improvement on the new V3 fuselage is around 12%—that's huge! Especially for low-end performance and pumping. Plus, the almost round shape of the fuselage eliminates all small lift inconsistencies for a pure, perfect feel.
In SUP/surf foil, you feel like it wants to take off with the first few paddle strokes! Once airborne, the glide is mind-blowing: the wing seems to glide forever, giving you control through turns, and as you come off the wave, pumping becomes easy! You can link sections endlessly and glide on the swell. Then, when you grab a paddle and put this Sirus under a downwind board, you enter a whole new world of possibilities: paddling into the swell, taking off, catching a distant line to cruise ahead of the peak, and carving endlessly in complete silence.
In flat starts, after just a few tries with the 186, you find the lift. A few more attempts to position your feet correctly, and you start pumping... and then your mind is blown: you can fly on your own strength!
In dock starts, as soon as your feet touch the board, you feel the extreme lift of the Sirus. That’s the first impression. And immediately, you think, "Wow, this thing glides like crazy!" You clearly get the high-aspect ratio glide, even at low speeds. But the most impressive thing is the wing’s rigidity and maneuverability. Nothing flexes, so all the forces are put to work. No unwanted movements or delays—it's sharp and responsive.
In wing foiling, the Sirus is the ultimate light-wind reference! Days without flying are a thing of the past. With the right pumping rhythm, you're up in the air, even without wind. Once airborne, you can feel the water flying beneath the foil. You point upwind and generate so much apparent wind that riding in 6 knots becomes a breeze. What seemed impossible a few years ago is now routine. Add some bumps or a small swell, and you’re in paradise: endless surfs and infinite moves. Whether you're riding on a lake, a river, or inland waters, the Sirus will give you incredible glide to make the most of your spot, even in tricky winds. It smooths everything out and lets you savor its magical glide. A must-have!!!
The plane is combined with the 70HM V3 carbon mast: a masterpiece of technological know-how. Glide, stiffness, lightness and responsiveness: it's the ideal mast for foilers in search of excellence.
The sleek profile minimizes drag for easier takeoffs, rapid accelerations, and higher top speeds. The 70 cm length is dedicated to high-performance use in surf foil or SUP foil, but also in downwind, dock start, and beach start. It's a real joy for spots where the depth is shallow!
The lower sections, available in 15 and 19mm thicknesses, allow all riders to find their ideal glide/stiffness compromise based on their front wing, program, or body type.
Its monobloc construction in high-modulus carbon provides impeccable foil control thanks to perfect mastery of flex and twist, achieved through optimization of fiber layer orientations and an internal double carbon stringer structure.
With 10 years of mass-producing foils, GONG has been the world’s leading driver of this practice, delivering nearly 100,000 foils. This incredibly intense tenth year of R&D has enabled us to offer an even thinner mast in the V3 foil range. The lower sections of our HM masts now start from 15mm in thickness, while also offering options by 19mm.
You can thus choose the mast perfectly suited to your build, your front wing, and your program:
If you prioritize glide and speed, the HM15 will become the centerpiece of your quiver.
If you are sturdier or focused on pumping/light wind, and you seek unmatched rigidity for maximum precision, the HM19 is made for you!
Front Wing
The Sirus range is designed with an aspect ratio that varies according to size to best suit all rider builds and the desired discipline. From 9.3 to 20.1, the ratio increases with the wingspan. However, they are all high-aspect front wings that offer unmatched glide, which is crucial for pumping and surf foiling on small waves.
The Sirus L with its 116 cm wingspan and 9.3 aspect ratio maintains impressive rail-to-rail transitions for its wingspan. It is perfect for pumping for a smaller, energetic rider who wants to carve or for a heavier rider in surf foiling or SUP foiling.
The Sirus XL with its 136 cm wingspan and 10,9 aspect ratio maintains good maneuverability, making it possible to perform long turns on moderate and soft waves. Its pumping ability is formidable, as is its top speed, making it the most versatile size for low-end performance. A must-have.
The Sirus XXL with its 156 cm wingspan and 12,5 aspect ratio sits on the edge between a maneuverable foil wing (FW) and a pure pumping wing. Flat starts are relatively easy for lighter riders, mainly because its decent maneuverability allows for corrections and helps you exit long turns. It’s fast and offers enough lift to rest between pumps or pump sequences. In wing foiling, it's getting quite large, so it’s best reserved for heavier riders under 8 knots.
Stab
The Fluid H stab has an aspect ratio of 8.3, providing the best compromise between lift, glide and maneuverability.
The outline centers lift and narrows sharply at the tips to maximize rail-to-tail performance. The tips are slightly set back to shift the center of lift of the stab, giving it better leverage on the lower. You can thus reduce the surface of the stab and improve glide without losing comfort.

The endurance is astounding. You can cover distances and feel great!!!
It’s up to you to challenge your cardio on flat water.
It’s up to you to race your friends around the buoy and see who returns the fastest.
It’s up to you to engage in a flat-water race with your three long-time rivals to finally find out who the real badass of the group is!!!
Everything becomes possible when you’re a human flying on your own strength!!!This phrase was once a dream: you can make it your reality.
A more efficient foil shape
- faster
- more rigid
- more resistant
- lighter
The new round shape allows a 12% gain in glide and the thicker section approaching the stab increases the strength and rigidity of the foil.
Hours of calculations on extremely powerful computers have allowed us to optimize the smallest detail to maximize performance. The fillets of all our connections have been carefully studied and adjusted to minimize hydrodynamic disturbances and increase the rigidity and resistance of the assembly.
SuperLock self-tightening system
The more pressure you put into the front wing, the tighter it fits into the fuselage.
The pressure angle makes it very easy to disassemble the front wing, even after long sessions. This fitting only requires two screws under the FW, which makes changing the front wing easier and faster.
This tightening principle, already validated for several years on our V2 stabs, is now available in an optimized version on the front wings.
A real plus for daily use!

For what?
These wings are specially designed to take off before all the others and glide longer.
Perfect for pumping, fast without requiring a lot of energy, the possibilities are endless on this front wing. It covers ranges of use which no other foil set-up did until now. This is the wing that puts your practice of short distance racing with your friends on hold. Ok, no one is stopping you from continuing, we love it too. But three friends, each with their Cruz and their Sirus, will be able to challenge each other like never before in a standing start race.
In detail for each sport:
- In surf foiling, you must have a very good level to tame this technical wing. It is surprisingly simple to take off with but it requires a good technical background to maneuver in curves because of its giant wingspan. It likes soft waves to cruise like on a retro longboard. So avoid hollow sections. Typically, you can have fun in front of the peak and connect waves on end and draw lines without disturbing anyone.
- In SUP foiling: GAME CHANGER alert. You can take off on the flat with only a few paddle strokes. Imagine the possibilities: it’s mind-boggling ? Not to mention that the combination of fine tips that dive into the curve without locking the wing flat and the paddle that allows you to offset your center of balance, make for a maneuverable front wing despite its very large wingspan. In the sizes 116 and 136, it is very maneuverable for these wingspans.
- In downwinds, you break the game of soft conditions. The lift is unstoppable and it flies forever.
- In wing foiling, the small sizes are fantastic for taking off in no wind. And paired with a Cruzader, you’ll pulverize your low range. It’s just amazing how early it flies. And the speed remains top-ranked.
What size Front Wing?
The Sirus wings in sizes L, XL, XXL, 3XL, 5XL are aimed at all body sizes because as the saying goes he who can do more can do less. A big rider will find himself light, and a light rider will set new personal records.
The L has a wingspan of 116 cm, 1450 cm², 2.2 cm thick for a volume of 1.74L.
- For dock starts, it is a relatively technical wing, very buoyant and easy to handle, which allows you to send beautiful curves.
- In surf foiling, it allows riders of average size to go on small waves and connect the waves without running out of steam. It will also be suitable for small builds into endless flights and pumping.
- In wing foiling, it takes off super early and works really well in light wind conditions.
The XL has a wingspan of 136 cm, 1700 cm², 2.3 cm thick for a volume of 2.13L.
- For dock starts, it is a very stable wing which allows you to perform beautiful turns thanks to its very thin tips which do not lock the front wing.
- In surf foiling, it is aimed at bigger surfers who want a wing that takes off more easily than a classic shape and that maintains pumping with a minimum of effort.
- In wing foiling you’re the first one to take off!!!
The XXL has a wingspan of 156 cm, 1950 cm², 2.3 cm thick for a volume of 2.44L.
- For dock starts, it is a super stable wing that allows you to cover long distances without effort.
- Surf foiling is off-topic with this size. It’s too big.
- In SUP foiling, it allows small riders to take off on the flat or big riders to take off well before the wave breaks.
- In wing foiling, it is very big, but the most effective to take off in super light conditions.
- 15mm thickness is recommended for front wings up to 150cm span
- 19mm thickness is recommended for front wings up to 250cm wingspan
What Stab?
General information on the choice of stab sizes:
The preferred size will depend on your foiling discipline, your level, your weight, the conditions of your spot but also your front wing.
A larger stab will make take-off easier because the foil will generate a significant torque which will tend to give it a significant angle of attack. This also implies more front foot pressure.
A smaller stab will be more technical on takeoff but will boost speed and maneuverability. We also lose some front foot pressure, which means having to move the foil forward in the boxes to regain this stability.
Always adjust the size of the stab to the size of the front wing to obtain a balanced flight and functioning harmony between these two components.
If in doubt about which size to choose, contact our customer service.
What thickness?
You have the choice between 2 thicknesses.
The thicker the mast, the stiffer it is and the greater control it provides, particularly with larger front wings.
The thinner the mast, the faster it is, increasing top speed and acceleration, especially with smaller wings.
Here are our recommended mast thicknesses to ensure perfect stiffness of the whole setup:
