GEAR: A FULL QUIVER OF ONE BOARD!

Sketchy forecast and the need to travel light? We recommend the Pie to cover a maximum of conditions if you can only travel with one board. It offers the early take-off of a mid-length surfboard with the maneuverability of a shortboard. The board to make the most of sloppy conditions and have tons of fun in faster waves.

Its relatively relaxed rocker, its generous but not excessive volume, its carrying round nose and its deep fish tail favor take-offs on days when a longboard might be more appropriate or when the waves are a little too messy to take your shortboard out of its board bag.
The Pie allows direct action because its relative width propels you at full speed from the take off and its deep tail releases the water for short turns as if you were on a true shortboard. We are even on a shorter board than what we would surf on a classic shortboard shape. This reduced length contributes to excellent maneuverability. We don’t engage the rails deeply at the bottom like on a shortboard at the bottom, it’s the fluidity that matters. Its rail to rail is amazing. We always have power left in the tank even after having shortened a turn. It turns short and it gets going again in a heartbeat.
