The easiest and most accessible rigid board for both wing and SUP foiling.
Presentation
The Zuma is the most accessible board in the range for wing and SUP foiling. Everything is easier and more reassuring, with an incredibly wide range of possible uses.
With its length and comfortable width, it is neither physically nor technically demanding. It’s really a forgiving, user-friendly board. No need to rush things on this board, it’s all smooth sailing while still offering great freeride performance.
In wing foiling, the Zuma is ideal for beginners who don’t want to tire themselves out. Its excellent stability allows you to take your time getting ready, gliding, and taking off. Getting on the board, kneeling, raising the wing, standing up, finding your balance, feeling the board glide, pumping calmly, and starting to fly—it all happens naturally and easily.
In SUP foiling, the Zuma offers good glide when paddling thanks to its optimal balance. You don’t tire yourself out searching for your balance or struggling to go straight. It’s a real pleasure to paddle, which is a major advantage for speeding up your progress.
Thanks to its very wide square tail and generous nose, you can wait for waves without effort. This wide tail propels you into takeoff without requiring intense paddling. The large surface area makes it easy to balance before flying, and once you’re steady, the flight begins. You can surf in a laid-back manner, touch the water without stress, and at the end of the wave, you can simply pump your way to the next wave or gently land to paddle back.
Its length allows you to paddle back to the lineup without struggling. You can fully enjoy the waves, glide without stress, and not worry about the distance you need to paddle back. A relaxed SUP foiling experience.
But make no mistake, the Zuma is also a high-performance board: In SUP foiling, you can carve and connect wave after wave. In wing foiling, you can take off in light wind, ride the swell, engage in rad turns, and more.
It’s the queen of good fun, both in wing and SUP foiling.
Ridge Traction Pad
With its perfect grip and 5mm thickness, the new Ridge Traction Pad offers absolute comfort and grip. Your stance is completely secure, and your control is surgically precise.
The contact with the board is firm and direct for perfect foil control, yet it retains the cushioning of a 5mm pad.
ADS System
An FCS II box located under the nose allows you to clip in a fin that helps prevent drifting downwind. This makes it much easier to maintain a straight course. And you can remove it without any tools, effortlessly. You’re free to use it or not, depending on your needs. We love this little feature that makes your early sessions easier before you start flying. You can cruise comfortably in 6/8 knots of wind and practice maneuvers on the water before eventually doing them in the air.
ADS System
- Removable FCS II fin, tool-free
- Anti-drift, better upwind performance
- Increased stability
Multiples inserts
The multiple strap inserts (13 rows of 5 inserts) allow you to set up the straps in either SUP or wing foiling mode. They also cater to the common request for offset rear inserts, providing more natural foot placement for surfing or free-flying.
FSP 2X Technology
FSP 2X is our innovative, high-end technology, offering the best compromise between weight, durability, and performance on the market.
FSP 2X is a full sandwich of biaxial fiberglass and PVC. This high-density, 3mm thick material is strong, lightweight, and hydrophobic. It forms a rigid and durable outer shell on the EPS core of your board. Combined with the biaxial fiberglass, it ensures the best durability/performance balance on the market. Thanks to the vacuum bagging process used during production, the final weight of your board is perfectly controlled.
Durable, efficient, repairable, the brands capable of offering a total PVC sandwich in large series in Wing foiling can be counted on the fingers of one hand and GONG is the leading one!
- 3D shape on modeling software.
- Preshape by numerical control for total reliability.
- Shape control by traditional templates, finishing off the last mm 100% by hand.
- 100 % epoxy resin and EPS foam blank: solid and lightweight.
- Deck, hull, and rails in vacuumed PVC sandwich: incomparable solidity and incredible dynamism.
- Deck: full PVC/fiberglass sandwich composed of a high-density PVC foam core and 2 layers of 4oz fiberglass and 1 layer of 6oz biaxial fiberglass, fiberglass reinforcements on the sensitive areas.
- Hull: full PVC/fiberglass sandwich composed of a high-density PVC foam core and 2 layers of 4oz fiberglass and 1 layer of 6oz biaxial fiberglass, fiberglass reinforcements on the sensitive areas.
- Specific foil reinforcements: high density PVC block that holds in the two US rail boxes.
- Four layers of carbon cover the boxes. The PVC block connects the boxes to the deck for great durability.
- Carbon reinforcements of the strap inserts, under the heels and the trampling area.
- Rails: the PVC sandwich structure completely covers the rails: increased structural strength, very good impact resistance (paddle, knee or harness hook hits).
- Integrated GONG carrying handle in the PVC Sandwich : limits settling, avoids breakage in the surrounding area.
- Resin tinted hot coat : nobility of the process, weight saving and solidity of the finish.
- Hand-made matt “custom finish” for weight saving and a better glide.
Main qualities of the components:
EPS core: Lightweight, shock-absorbing, shape memory.
Epoxy resin: Durable, less brittle, shape memory.
Fiberglass: Strength, less brittle, forgiving, flexible.
High-density PVC foam: Waterproof, hard, strong, shape memory.

Buying guide
Who is it for?
Firstly for those looking for wing / SUP foiling versatility.
Its role is to make your life easier and to do everything perfectly.
Accessible in SUP foiling due to its surface, you must first of all know how to paddle in a straight line on a small classic SUP. The rest is just a matter of method and time in the water to progress, starting with small conditions.
In wing foiling, the Zuma is a super accessible board for a beginner, each size corresponding to a size or a desire for comfort. The very long ones are for people who want versatility with the SUP, or for very strong people.
In large volumes it is easy, but in small sizes you will need to be in good physical condition or be light.
Why choose the Zuma?
The Zuma is the stable board so you don’t struggle. Everything is done smoothly.
In SUP foiling, it is ideal for getting started and working your way up to good performance. Unlike a pro board that would be constantly unstable, its big asset is to allow easy paddling.
In wing foiling, it really is the easiest board in the world, without being an anvil. It’s great for boosting your progress. Its length really helps you to fly early. And you can also have fun without flying, by cruising around or rehearsing the maneuvers you will later be able to do in flight.
What board size?
Beginners in wing foiling must absolutely have a positive volume balance.
Your weight plus the board’s weight must be less than the board’s volume.
Don’t hesitate to take some volume and width if you’re not sure of your support or not an athletic person.
To be comfortable, we recommend that you take a volume of around your weight + 30 = volume.
Examples for a 7kg board and different sizes:
1/I weigh 50 kg + 30 = 80L to be easy. Which means that with a 105L 5’6 I would be very comfortable, but without excess. The minimum to float is: 50kg + 7kg = 57L.
2/ I weigh 70 kg + 30 = 100L to be easy. Which means that with a 120L 5’7 I would be very comfortable, but without excess. The minimum to float is: 70kg + 7kg = 77L
3/ I weigh 85 kg + 30 = 115L to be easy. Which means that with a 135L 5’8 I would be very comfortable but without excess. The minimum to float is: 85kg + 7kg = 92L.
4/ I weigh 100kg + 30 = 130L to be easy. Which means that with a 150L 5’9 I would be comfortable but without excess. The minimum to float is: 100kg + 7kg = 107L.
In wing foiling, you can take a board with a generous volume if you are a beginner.
In SUP foiling, you absolutely must have a positive volume balance. Your weight plus that of the board should be less than the volume of the board. Do not hesitate to add a little volume and width if you are not sure of your support. The perfect board is the one that gives you success, not the most radical! Always take a little comfort.
You can take a sufficient volume to float, of about your weight + 30 = volume. This is the minimum not to struggle with a correct level of paddling. A less expert paddler would certainly have to take +60.
Example: I weigh 80kg + 30 = 110L. Which means that with a 6’3 of 115L I will manage, provided I’m not a beginner in SUP foiling. And if I want great comfort I will have to upgrade to at least the 6’6 130L.
For winging, you can opt for a generous size if you're a beginner. However, if you're already at a good level, you'll want to go for a lower volume, following the same rule as for SUP foiling mentioned above.

Which foil?
The Zuma is perfect for beginners and quick progression with the X-Over foil.
The X-OVER foil is the ultra-fun foil for learning and progressing in wing foiling!
It’s the ideal companion for your first flights in wing foiling. Its ultra-smooth takeoff, stability, control, and predictable behavior make it the perfect foil to quickly learn how to fly, go upwind, succeed in your first maneuvers, and catch your first waves in wing foiling.
Which stabilizer?
We always recommend pairing a X-Over stab with your X-Over front wing, as these two components are designed for the same purpose and optimized to work perfectly together.
General guidelines for choosing stabilizer sizes:
The ideal size will depend on your board, skill level, weight, spot conditions, and your front wing.
