Position your rear footstrap according to your preference with the multiple inserts on our 2025 wing foiling boards!
To get the full wing foil experience in race, freestyle or wave riding, the use of footstraps is essential. We think of jumps, of course, but they are also invaluable for pumping to get on the foil, when edging hard while skimming the water's surface, and in the waves where they allow for full commitment. As long as you're comfortable, which is guaranteed by the multiple insert positions on our boards.
Many of you have requested this option to adjust the rear strap for personal comfort in wave riding or freeride. This is one of the many new features in the 2025 range. It is now possible to offset your rear foot strap in countless ways on the Lance, Mint, Cruzader (Point LW, Point, and Diamond), and Lethal.
Countless options for adjusting the rear strap
While the centered adjustment of the rear strap along the board's axis is the preference of most wing foilers, the offset position is preferred by those who appreciate it for engaging in turns, even if it means sacrificing comfort on the opposite tack.
To allow you to adjust your stance, three rows of inserts have been placed under your rear foot. Each block has 5 holes, but only the 3 central holes, which are the most commonly used, are visible*. This means countless possible positions for eccentric, wider, or narrower stances... It’s up to you to choose.
Here are the insert positions for the Lance, Mint, and Cruzaders (Point LW, Point, and Diamond).
Wingfoiler: Malo, GONG team rider, with a Lethal FSP Pro and Droid UPE Aramid.
*Underneath your Ridge Traction Pad, another new feature in 2025, you have the 1st and 5th holes of these insert blocks, already drilled and ready to receive your foot strap screw. Just make sure to identify the hole location in advance using a pin, and manually countersink your pad for a proper result without damaging your board. The holes are equidistant and perfectly aligned.
