GEAR: CHOOSING THE RIGHT KITE

Your program on the water will decide which kite will be in your quiver for your next sessions. All of our kites are suited to beginners as well as experts. They’re only separated by their utility.

Kitesurfers: Thibaut and Cyril with a Strutless 11m2 and a Freewave 9m2.

The Strutless : Unique design, this kite has no inflatable strut! What does this change? It drastically reduces the drag and makes it extremely light.

  • In kite foiling, it is a kite that allows you to accelerate constantly and go for crazy points of sail. In lightwind, it competes with foil kites (without the drawback of relaunch), especially thanks to its evolving ratios, which are higher for the larger sizes.
  • In surf kiting, the Strutless has a crazy drift and a great handling thanks to its lower ratio on the smaller sizes. A kite with less drag means more speed in your bottom turns and transitions. Wonderful in surfing!
  • In Twintip (TT), it has a crazy lift and hang time.
What size of Strutless?   The Unik : Extremely versatile, this single strut kite has extreme maneuverability, a very healthy ride and an intuitive drift.
  • In kite foiling, it allows you to be very underpowered while keeping a lot of stability.
  • In surf kiting, its wider tips give it great handling. A kite that can be underpowered in surfing because it generates a lot of power.
  • The versatility and ease of use of the Unik makes it a perfect kite in TT, no matter your level.
What size of Unik?

The Freewave : Our three-strut kite is particularly comfortable in medium to high wind ranges. Its profile handling is particularly reassuring.

  • In kite foiling, it allows you to go out in very high wind range.
  • In surf kiting, the Freewave shows all its potential, especially its stability qualities as soon as the wind gets stronger.
  • In TT, it allows you to go out safely whatever the conditions.
What size of Freewave?

In addition to the kite, we strongly recommend our bar, which is compatible with most kites on the market and perfectly exploits the potential of your kite.
