In France:

Full resumption of shipments: everything OK. We ship all orders below 3m long. Two possibilities: 1/ You want immediate delivery: Protective measures have been put in place to avoid direct contact. Making an appointment is no longer possible, but we contact each customer to check that you will be at the place of delivery and that you will be able to respect the protection measures. 2/ You prefer to be delivered after the clearance: No worries, the orders you have entrusted to us are warm, well packed and ready to leave at the total reopening or on your request. You can choose the option “Pick up at GONG” to retrieve your order when the lockdown measures will be lifted in France. The shop at La Baule remains closed to the public until May 11th. We are working on reopening the local shop on May 12th if our region is authorized to do so. It goes without saying that the uses will be very different from the usual life of our shop before Covid.

Abroad:

Resumption of Northern Europe shipments: no problem to note. On recommendation of the carriers, we deliver all packages under 3m in the following countries: – Germany – Switzerland – Netherlands – Austria – Belgium. We follow the same procedure: we contact each customer in these countries in the order of orders to ask them if they want their deliveries sooner or later. You will understand that the carriers’ delivery times vary. We do not put pressure on them in this respect. The important thing is that you are delivered without damage. Shipments Southern Europe and UK: some shipments for a progressive resumption of the rhythm. To date, international shipments to other countries have resumed with only one export per week (notably Italy, Spain) organised by the carriers. We cannot guarantee the delivery times announced before Covid but we are going faster than ever. The dispatch of your orders is slowly resuming according to your instructions given to our logistics department. Your orders are in any case prepared and stored for you in our secure warehouse. Available stock and production: On-line stocks are trully available on the announced dates, most of them immediately. Some in presale are in transit or at the end of production in our factories. There is no slow-down in our supply chain, the reverse is the case. We are facing a very high demand, well above 2019, which consumes a lot of stock on some items. It sounds crazy but this is not a bluster, it’s a simple fact, and we love your enthusiasm. Thank you very much. As a result, we have increased our production to offer you more immediate availability in the coming weeks. The price of some raw materials has tripled, transport costs are much more expensive, and Euro is going down. But we keep our low prices. Since 2011 we have digitized our design chain. The Covid crisis has further accelerated this process of 3D creation and simulation with the hiring of talented employees and the purchase of state-of-the-art software. We are, nevertheless, eager to finalize our sea tests, which have been interrupted, to launch production in 2021, which will come out at the same pace as in previous years; because we want to share our recent innovations as soon as possible.
