Innovative HDCC Construction
Creating a board that can handle the forces of riding and freestyle without sacrificing lightness or durability is no easy task. Our Kiwii and Fronteira kite foil boards feature cutting-edge HDCC (High Density Core & Carbon) technology, drawing on breakthroughs from our foil designs.
- Two H-shaped carbon stringers for maximum stiffness.
- Full prepreg carbon layup for optimal energy transfer.
- Full prepreg dual-entry SCS box, precisely molded.
- Pressed in a steel mold and cured at 155 °C for a perfect finish.
Resistance and Durability:
High temperature molding provides a better bond between fibers and resin, increasing mechanical strength and durability under high stresses. The mechanical properties of the board remain stable even when exposed to high temperatures.
Lightness and responsiveness:
The full carbon prepreg lamination allows homogeneous and optimized distribution of the resin. All excess weight is removed without compromising strength. The boards are thus lighter and more efficient.
High Density foam blank:
The foam blank used is an extremely expensive and efficient hydrophobic material used in aeronautics. It provides exceptional structural rigidity and longevity while maintaining a light weight.
Advanced eco-design:
Thanks to a sanding-free process, we reduce waste from these steps to zero. Every stage — from shape molding to layup — is designed to ensure minimal environmental impact while delivering unmatched quality.
