Dynamic and solid Technology

Our last range of Stand Up Paddle is built in the New FSP PRO Technology, developed by L’Ours at the GONG Factory in France. Setting up and duplicating a small-scale to a large-scale production with this type of technology is a real challenge. The complete specifications put in place by our product team, the training, the digitalisation allow our factories to produce our Boards in the same way as those made in our premises.

This innovative FSP PRO Technology allows us to offer you Boards with a striking dynamism, with an incomparable solidity, while keeping a light weight.

Dynamic Boards

The intrinsic properties of Carbon are the assurance of obtaining a dynamic Board. In surfing as in paddling, the forces applied to the Board deform it. The dynamism of the Carbon allows your Board to return to its original shape in record time, and therefore amplifies its pop, its reactivity and your sensations. Compared to Fiberglass, Carbon is four times more dynamic.

Solid Boards

One of the development areas is solidity. A solid Board is a Board that lasts over time. By paying attention to your Board on the water as well as on land, your SUP Board in FSP PRO can last for decades, and a Board that lasts and in turn it pollutes less.

L’Ours has opted for a Full Carbon Sandwich that covers the entire Board, deck, hull and rails. The rigidity of the Carbon considerably reduces the risk of bending. The EPS foam is protected by a full High-Density PVC sandwich, covering the rails in particular to ensure very good resistance to shocks (paddle strokes). The other advantage of PVC is that it is hydrophobic, so in case of damage, water will not reach the EPS foam.

This technology offers, at an affordable price for Carbon, the incomparable strength/lightness ratio of a vacuumed Full Sandwich PVC.
