Our range of foils is designed to follow your progression and lead you to your favorite program as Charles could experience, now flying on the Fluid XL-T after having started on the Rise then the Curve.
“Feedback of the Fluid XL-T and the stab for an average level (99% jibes and 50% tacks on one side) 93kgs and 51 years old.I first tried the Fluid 46 stab with my Curve XL-T which I wanted to boost. Indeed it gives a slightly more agile whole while retaining the enormous accessibility and the exceptional low range of the Curve. I had a Veloce 47 stab before. Zero adaptation time, there is a noticeable difference but it is not night and day. So I ordered the Fluid XL-T.
It carves in a super incisive and fast way.
But here it’s day and night with the Curve XL-T. It took me a little session to nail all my jibes and to adjust my stance. It’s much more lively, the glide out of the maneuver is much longer, it flies in the wind holes. The low range remains very good and it is surprising given the thickness of the profile. 12/13 knots in 7m and it takes off by pumping a little. The Curve XL-T keeps a better low range but in terms of speed, agility and acceleration there is no comparison. As promised in the descriptions when it comes out of the water it’s much easier to hook back and resume flying.
Even light and flat sessions become very playful, again with the Fluid XL-T.
I haven’t tried it in the waves yet but it’s already my favorite foil. It is clearly an accessible foil for a very average to intermediate level like me. It pumps on takeoff in a flatter way with more speed / glide but nothing very technical and I quickly caught the trick. My progression has been Rise, Curve, and now Fluid and each step has allowed me to progress while having great fun. I really appreciate the modularity of the range and its scope that has accompanied me from the start, a real plus.”
