Presentation

The Kiwii FSP Pro has been specifically designed for strapless kite foiling and dock/beach start sessions. In kite foiling it can do it all, Freeride, Strapless Freestyle or Wave Riding. It is aimed at experienced to expert riders, who are looking for THE magic carpet:

  • very compact for exceptional maneuverability.
  • super rigid for more responsiveness and impeccable precision in maneuvers.
  • very light and solid to send grabbed airs.


 In the air, its super short format makes it invisible. This feeling of Flying then takes on its full meaning. The Kiwii slips totally off your mind. You can see the water flowing at full speed under your feet in a magical silence. Quite an addictive feeling. 

In tricks, this feeling of not having a board underfoot is increased by its lightness, its rigidity and by its flat deck which offers an almost direct contact between the feet and the foil. No latency on the impulses of your feet: the response in the maneuvers is immediate and instinctive. 

In freestyle, you will love its lightness. Its refined rails will allow you an easy grip to send grabbed airs. You will feel confident on landings because it can absorb everything. 

The Kiwii is also the long-awaited shape by dock/beachstarters. Here again, it excels thanks to its compact format and its construction. The extreme rigidity obtained by the full PVC and carbon sandwich ensures that you transmit the effort to your foil immediately with each pumping stroke. Zero loss of energy or power. No more touchdowns due to a format that is too bulky. With a Kiwii FSP PRO set-up, giant wings (Sirus, Curve H andFluid H) and an HM mast, you are sure to have the stiffest and most efficient combo on the market. Record breaking flight times are gonna add up! 

Need to switch your set-up after a kite foiling session for a beachstart session? The double entry US rails and the SCS nuts to fix the foil will allow you to change the mast in 2 turns of the key.


Two sizes to choose from: 3’1 or 3’6, respectively of 12L and 14L. As long as you have the level to ride a Kiwii, the volume does not matter much. It is the desire for comfort / radicality and the width of your stance that will naturally direct you towards one or the other of the two boards. 

Note that these two sizes are perfect to travel with. A major asset when you like to move lightly. A Kiwii with two Strutless kites and you’re off with the lightest quiver.

Shape
Outline

Its outline is very rounded at the nose. Its largely chamfered rails are thin and soft. These characteristics, combined with its compactness, allow you to sail on all angles and link incisive turns together while minimizing touchdowns. Its integral Velvet Traction Pad is ultra comfortable while sailing and offers perfect grip in all your moves. Endless carves are all yours!

 

  • Rocker: Flat on the rear half with a raised nose to soften the touchdowns, and avoid pearling.
  • Rails: Faceted, thin and soft for better cushioning, allowing more angle and easy handling in grabbed tricks.
  • Nose: Large rounded square nose to have more front foot surface, with a very marked double concave below which facilitates the management of touchdowns in the chop, even with a lot of angle.
  • Outline: As compact as it gets. A good general lift for its size with an outline close to the rectangle but with softer tips.
  • Tail: Round square tail narrower than the nose to get going immediately and have control in the chop without losing speed in the event of a touchdown.
  • Deck: Flat deck for control and steering precision.
  • Bottom: Hull with wide chamfers, flat at the tail then important double concave for more control on touchdowns.
Rigid and hydrophobic integral shell

A rigid and hydrophobic integral shell in 3mm high density foam covers the entire EPS foam blank. It offers an incredible gain in dynamism and optimal protection against impacts, such as knee hits for example, on the deck, on the hull AND on the rails. 

Very technical and costly, the implementation of the FSP Pro construction is entirely carried out under vacuum.

These boards are equipped with our innovative and high-end technology called FSP Pro. This full-carbon full sandwich PVC offers the best dynamism while preserving strength, at an incredible weight. It’s quite simply the ultimate in vacuum technology for customs, used as standard on our production models.

  • 3D shape on modeling software.
  • Preshape by numerical control for total reliability.
  • Shape control by traditional templates, finishing off the last mm 100% by hand.
  • Epoxy resin and EPS foam blank: solid and lightweight.
  • 3mm stringer to limit the risk of breakage.
  • Deck, hull and rails in PVC vacuum pressed sandwich: incomparable strength and incredible dynamism.
  • Deck: full PVC/Fiberglass and carbon sandwich composed of a high density PVC foam core and 1 layer of 4oz fiberglass and 1 layer of 6oz carbon fiber, fiberglass reinforcements in sensitive areas.
  • Hull: full PVC/Fiberglass and carbon sandwich composed of a high density PVC foam core and 1 layer of 6oz carbon fiber, fiberglass reinforcements on sensitive areas.
  • Specific foil reinforcements: the two US rails are fitted in a high density PVC block. Three layers of carbon cover these boxes. Laminated PVC slats connect the reinforcements to the deck for added durability.
  • Rails: the PVC sandwich structure completely covers the rails: increased structural strength, very good impact resistance.
  • Resin tinted hot coat : nobility of the process, weight saving and solidity of the finish.
  • Hand-made matt “custom finish” for weight saving and a better glide.

For whom?

Strapless kite foiling requires perfect control of flight and maneuvers. They are therefore aimed at riders of a good to expert level.

For Pumping sessions, the Kiwiii FSP PRO boards are ideal whether you are a beginner or an expert.

For what?

If you’re 100% strapless oriented, and want a pocket board to reel off tacks, jibes and other tricks, then the Kiwii is made for you.

If you’re looking for the perfect dockstart pumping board, look no further. The Kiwii is the board you want for the job.

And if you like to travel light, this is a perfect board.

What size?


What is the ideal foil?

The Kiwii will work perfectly in kite foiling with:

  • The Curve (S & M or even L) for cool freeride sessions.
  • Fluid (S, M & L) and Veloce (S, M & L) for more glide, speed and maneuverability.
  • And for speed lovers, the sizes XS and S of the Ypra-S, Veloce H and Ypra,

In general, we recommend stabs with a very small surface such as a Fluid 38 for example.

You can also choose to switch to aFreestyle stab for their shorter fuselage which promotes responsiveness by reducing the radius of curves. Or conversely take the easy road to performance with the Curve stab in a small size.

The must is to upgrade this foil with a 100cmCarbon V2 mast or anHM92 mast.

What is the ideal Kite?

The Kiwii FSP PRO is fabulous with a Strutless to perform in winds below 20 knots. This kite is close to a race kite above 11m2 for its ratio and aptitudes, but with the safety of an inflatable structure. It flies in nothing and holds crazy upwind courses, yet it’s a very maneuverable kite too. Perfect.

But the Kiwii FSP PRO is also a good match for the Unik which will bring a lot of maneuverability to link manoeuvers for example.


Equipments

  • 2 US GONG Box Double Entry for standard foil plates equipped with 4 screw + nuts (9cm center distance). Compatible with our SCS system. This new system allows ultra-fast assembly of GONG foils. (INSERTS NOT SUPPLIED WITH THE BOARD).
  • 5 mm Velvet Traction Pad on the deck: deck pad designed for great comfort and absolute grip.
  • Automatic vent screw.


The Kiwii FSP Pro boards are equipped with our high-end 5mm thick Traction Velvet Pad. The Hard Brush surface treatment provides a firm grip. Besides, the comfort is unequaled because the entire surface of the foot is in contact with the pad. Unlike a pad with large reliefs, the grip is made by an infinity of micro reliefs, hence this “velvet” contact. This new one-piece pad covers the entire useful surface of the deck. It exempts you from waxing your board. And it avoids small angles that could end up peeling off.


The whole range of kite foiling boards is upgraded with our double entry US box system to accommodate the SCS system that equips all our recent foil boards. It is so easy to install your foil with this system that you will save time on the water.


With the SCS nuts connected by the composite rods, the nuts on the top plate are automatically perfectly set. You just need to position the top plate over the 4 entries, insert the nuts all at once, slide the foil back to the chosen position and in two turns of the key per screw the foil is mounted. The GONG double entry box facilitates the assembly and adjustment of the foil! Performance without the hassle. When dismantling the foil, you can leave the nuts and the screws on the top plate, just loosen the screws, remove the foil and off you go! It is the plug and play solution which facilitates adjustments (SCS nuts not supplied with the board).

Delivery

Delivery delay

We indicate a preparation and shipping time of 3 working days. In reality, the majority of orders are shipped within 24/48 hours.

The delivery time, i.e. delivery time of the package to your home, then depends on the delivery location and the carrier.

We work with reliable and efficient carriers. 99% of shipments go perfectly and quickly. In the case of the remaining 1%, rest assured that we will do what is necessary with the carrier.

Shipping fees

Unlike other sites, shipping costs are not hidden behind the price of our products. You know exactly what shipping costs you, and you are not disadvantaged if you choose to collect your order at our GONG Space Center.

Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight and volume of each package, and your delivery address.

Tracking your package

Delivery tracking is managed directly by the carriers to whom we have entrusted your packages. They will contact you by email or SMS to allow you to choose delivery methods and follow the route of your package.

Carriers

We work with the best transport societies to deliver to you throughout Europe and the world within very short deadlines. We chose them for their quality of service and their compliance with deadlines.

For mainland France, 80% of your orders arrive at their destination in less than 48 hours of processing.

For Europe, delivery times vary from 3 to 6 working days, depending on the country of destination.

For the rest of the world, delivery times depend on transit time and customs clearance time. This delay depends on customs and can last from a few days to a few weeks depending on the destination and seasonality.

Please note, transport time is added to preparation/shipping time. Two companies collaborate on your order (GONG and the carrier). Each one masters its activity and is committed to optimizing its deadlines so that you are delivered as quickly as possible and at a reasonable price.

Eco-responsible packaging

Preserving the environment is an absolute priority. This is why we do everything possible to reduce our ecological footprint.

The most important thing is to sell quality, durable products that will be repairable and will please you for a long time.

For our shipments, we use:

  • Final packaging in high-end cardboard.

  • For rigid boards: Flexi-Hex, very high resistance ecological packaging.

  • An almost total reduction in single-use plastic.

  • Maximum protection and impact resistance for rigid boards thanks to the innovative Flexi-Hex honeycomb design (35mm thick).


Receipt of your product

Upon delivery, check the condition of your package in the presence of the carrier. A complete explanation email on the procedure to follow will be sent to you when your order is shipped.

Despite our requirements and all the care we take in the packaging and protection of your product, transport hazards may occur, and your product may suffer more or less significant transport damage.

Note that the products are protected in their carton. If you have any doubts, simply refuse delivery and contact us.
