Presentation
As cool for SUP foiling as it is for winging, the Zuma is the best ally for your beginnings and stress-free sessions. It facilitates and reassures, while offering an immense spectrum of possibilities.
Thanks to perfect balance and impeccable glide, the Zuma is one of the most pleasant SUP foiling boards to paddle. A real asset in soft waves or for the less expert. It takes off earlier, it’s stunning on downwinders.
Its very wide square tail and comfortable nose provide a lot of stability when waiting and prevent you from tiring and getting the cardio up.
Its length allows you to paddle back to the peak with ease. You can fully enjoy the wave, without worrying about the distance to go back. It’s a board that allows you to pump, but not over 300m. To connect a set wave out the back you need a good technique, but is that really the goal? A Zuma is a bit like the Cruiser of SUP foiling: you can enjoy the amazing glide without the stress of paddling back as you have great paddling comfort.
In wing foiling, all these qualities allow you to get started without exhausting yourself. You can take your time before flying: the Zuma is also super pleasant when cruising on the water. You can practice maneuvers on the water and get your bearings step by step.
Its shape provides enormous stability in wing foiling to stand up as easily as possible. So you can approach the take-off phase without pressure. With a comfortable length, the glide is excellent and you will foil effortlessly.
To learn you need a smooth and progressive board and the Zuma is designed 100% with this in mind.
But make no mistake, the Zuma is also a high-performance board:
In SUP foiling, you can carve and perform moves wave after wave.

Outline
Length and a comfortable but contained width, to make the steps before takeoff as easy as possible. You can glide without being in a hurry to take off, or on the contrary take off immediately with this natural glide. The goal is to eliminate pre-flight pressure. Ideal for simple, rapid progression and maximum glide.
Rocker
Its rocker is relatively tight for more glide when taking off and ease when paddling, with a good nose kick to avoid pearling on take offs and landings. In wing foiling, the rocker provides a fluid glide, ideal for takeoffs in the learning phase and in light winds. 
Hull & rails
The flat hull on the rear half of the board combined with the straighter and sharper rails offers better glide when planing. Paddling is even easier and the take-offs are smooth. The double concave under the nose cushions contact with the water and slightly limits the row effect when paddling. 
Tail
The very wide tail, flat and square on the hull, and diamond on the deck, allows the Zuma to have very significant stability when at a standstill, allowing you to comfortably wait for the sets. In wing foiling, stability is excellent in all phases, kneeling and standing. The traditional tail kick adds a final touch of comfort in the touchdowns and for take offs.
Nose
The double concave under the nose makes touchdowns completely painless. Instead of braking, the ZUMA will bounce on the water and fly back immediately. This absence of sanction makes you more serene and will make you progress even faster…

Buying guide
Who is it for?
Firstly for those looking for wing / SUP foiling versatility.
Its role is to make your life easier and to do everything perfectly.
- Accessible in SUP foiling due to its surface, you must first of all know how to paddle in a straight line on a small classic SUP. The rest is just a matter of method and time in the water to progress, starting with small conditions.
- In wing foiling, the Zuma is a super accessible board for a beginner, each size corresponding to a size or a desire for comfort. The very long ones are for people who want versatility with the SUP, or for very strong people.
In large volumes it is easy, but in small sizes you will need to be in good physical condition or be light.
Why choose the Zuma?
The Zuma is the stable board so you don’t struggle. Everything is done smoothly.
- In SUP foiling, it is ideal for getting started and working your way up to good performance. Unlike a pro board that would be constantly unstable, its big asset is to allow easy paddling.
- In wing foiling, it really is the easiest board in the world, without being an anvil. It’s great for boosting your progress. Its length really helps you to fly early. And you can also have fun without flying, by cruising around or rehearsing the maneuvers you will later be able to do in flight.
What board size?
In SUP foiling, you absolutely must have a positive volume balance. Your weight plus that of the board should be less than the volume of the board. Do not hesitate to add a little volume and width if you are not sure of your support. The perfect board is the one that gives you success, not the most radical! Always take a little comfort.
You can take a sufficient volume to float, of about your weight + 30 = volume. This is the minimum not to struggle with a correct level of paddling. A less expert paddler would certainly have to take +60.
- Example: I weigh 80kg + 30 = 110L. Which means that with a 6’3 of 115L I will manage, provided I’m not a beginner in SUP foiling. And if I want great comfort I will have to upgrade to at least the 6’6 130L.
In wing foiling, you can take it very generously if you are just starting out. And if you already have a good level, you will on the contrary go for a volume close to the limit by following the same rule as for SUP foiling above.

Equipments
ADS System
A FCS II box under the nose to clip a fin stops the downwind drift. It’s really easier to hold a trajectory. And you can simply remove it without any tools. You are free to use it or not, depending on your needs. We love this little extra that makes it easier for you to get started before your first flights. You can sail relaxed, in 6/8 knots of wind, and work on maneuvers on the water before doing them in the air. In SUP foiling configuration, this fin also effectively reduces the row effect. 
Multiple inserts
The numerous strap inserts (13 strips of 5 inserts) allow you to mount the straps in SUP or Wing configurations. They also meet the common demand for offset rear inserts for more natural support in surfing or freefly.
The set of footstraps is offered with the board. For 2023 we have reviewed the outline of our straps to further improve comfort. Developed for wing foiling, these straps with less cover do not bend when put on.
More rigid, they offer a more precise steering but are still as comfortable. There is less surface area on the feet so there is less risk of staying stuck in the straps or banging your foot on the edge of the strap when rushing into it. It also allows better leeward control (tip of the foot) and therefore a more natural attitude in wing foiling.
We have worked on every detail to improve your experience on the water.
The V-shaped footstraps perfectly center the foot on the front of the board. The position is thus more natural and allows direct and precise control in maneuvers.In SUP foil the V footstrap is replaced by a second single footstrap (not included in the set).
The multi-position SUP/wing strap inserts and the US foil rails provide a multitude of adjustments, and make it possible to quickly find the ideal position for both SUP and wing.
Since 2023, our SCS system launched on the HIPE is integrated on all our foil boards. It’s beautiful, efficient and above all it saves time you can spend on the water. With its 4 entries, the GONG double entry box facilitates the assembly and adjustment of the foil. Performance without the hassle. We leave the nuts and the screws on the plate, just insert the foil, screw and off we go! Setting up the foil is much faster and easier. It is the plug and play solution which facilitates adjustments!(inserts not supplied with the board).
A handle developed by our R&D and our ergonomics engineer has been integrated into our boards this year. We can better close our hands in it: a firmer and more comfortable grip. The depressurization screw is directly integrated into the handle.
It is placed on the hull to allow one-handed carrying. You can have the wing and the paddle in the other hand to get past the whitewater or to get out of the water. And as we always do things seriously, the handle is placed in a block of hydrophobic PVC foam and covered with fiber.
The top-of-the-range 5mm thick integral pad provides maximum grip and comfort when sailing, while protecting the board from shocks. This year we have changed the grooving to provide even more comfort and more grip. This hard brush pad sublimates the board. This flat pad provides absolute comfort and a magical grip with more precision. This is obvious on long sessions: the feet are less tired.
The central front fin Anti Drift System axes the board as if it was on rails, but without ever hindering the ability to take angle in the curves.

- 2 US GONG Box Double Entry for standard foil plates equipped with 4 screw + nuts (9cm center distance). Compatible with our SCS system. This new system allows ultra-fast assembly of GONG foils.(inserts not supplied with the board).
- 1 x ADS central FCS II box
- 8 x 5-hole footstrap inserts to optimize your position in wing and SUP foiling.
- 1 x large light double V-shaped front footstrap and 1 x large light rear footstrap (screws included).
- 5 mm hard brush pad : deck covering designed for great comfort and absolute grip.
- GONG carrying handle integrated in the center of the board on the hull.
- Leash plug to never lose your board.

How to place and adjust your straps?
Delivery
Delivery delay
We indicate a preparation and shipping time of 3 working days. In reality, the majority of orders are shipped within 24/48 hours.
The delivery time, i.e. delivery time of the package to your home, then depends on the delivery location and the carrier.
We work with reliable and efficient carriers. 99% of shipments go perfectly and quickly. In the case of the remaining 1%, rest assured that we will do what is necessary with the carrier.
Shipping fees
Unlike other sites, shipping costs are not hidden behind the price of our products. You know exactly what shipping costs you, and you are not disadvantaged if you choose to collect your order at our GONG Space Center.
Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight and volume of each package, and your delivery address.
Tracking your package
Delivery tracking is managed directly by the carriers to whom we have entrusted your packages. They will contact you by email or SMS to allow you to choose delivery methods and follow the route of your package.
Carriers
We work with the best transport societies to deliver to you throughout Europe and the world within very short deadlines. We chose them for their quality of service and their compliance with deadlines.
For mainland France, 80% of your orders arrive at their destination in less than 48 hours of processing.
For Europe, delivery times vary from 3 to 6 working days, depending on the country of destination.
For the rest of the world, delivery times depend on transit time and customs clearance time. This delay depends on customs and can last from a few days to a few weeks depending on the destination and seasonality.
Please note, transport time is added to preparation/shipping time. Two companies collaborate on your order (GONG and the carrier). Each one masters its activity and is committed to optimizing its deadlines so that you are delivered as quickly as possible and at a reasonable price.
Eco-responsible packaging
Preserving the environment is an absolute priority. This is why we do everything possible to reduce our ecological footprint.
The most important thing is to sell quality, durable products that will be repairable and will please you for a long time.
For our shipments, we use:
- Scotch craft paper.
- Final packaging in high-end cardboard.
- For rigid boards: Flexi-Hex, very high resistance ecological packaging.
This means:
- Reusable and recyclable packaging.
- An almost total reduction in single-use plastic.
- Maximum protection and impact resistance for rigid boards thanks to the innovative Flexi-Hex honeycomb design (35mm thick).
Receipt of your product
Upon delivery, check the condition of your package in the presence of the carrier. A complete explanation email on the procedure to follow will be sent to you when your order is shipped.
Despite our requirements and all the care we take in the packaging and protection of your product, transport hazards may occur, and your product may suffer more or less significant transport damage.
Note that the products are protected in their carton. If you have any doubts, simply refuse delivery and contact us.
