Presentation

The Lance is the most compact progression board in the range. Its very wide concept is unique, allowing you to learn how to wing foil or lowkite in the most fun and easy way possible.

Big innovation on the deck to improve comfort with a recessed deck under the pad. The board is thinner, and you pilot the foil more directly.

At under six feet long, the Lance is part of the short-board family. A real comfort both on land and during transport, and also on the water! You don’t have that long nose in front of your feet that makes the board feel sluggish. The Lance is lively and responsive.

Its great width and carefully distributed volume give it impeccable stability. It makes starting out easier, accelerates progression, and makes riding far less physically demanding.

Its generous volume offers unbeatable comfort and stability in all conditions. It doesn’t roll when you’re on your knees. You can start off relaxed, without constantly searching for balance, without tiring yourself out, and without falling every 30 seconds.

Once standing, that width greatly helps you master the foil and your first rides, keeping the board flat during acceleration phases. With that level of control, you’ll feel completely safe. Enjoy!

Available in 4 sizes, from 5'6" (100L) to 5'9" (145L), there’s definitely a Lance to suit your needs.

You have dozens of footstrap adjustment options on the Lance, so you can set it up more surf-style or more symmetrical freeride, centered or offset, plus a perfect pad for strapless riding. This compact, planing-shape board is mounted with non-extended boxes to save weight.

Outline

A compact length, extra width, and perfectly distributed volume to make everything easier in both winging and lowkite. This is also what will get you flying early without having to pump like crazy. In flight, the feeling is amazing: lively and maneuverable. The short nose gives a lot of lightness. Foil stabilization in the air feels natural. You’ll feel confident when learning jibes and tacks in the air. Its absolute stability lets you fall without exhausting yourself on every restart. A real advantage for beginners!

Rocker

Thanks to a flat rocker on the rear third, glide is optimized. Take-offs are quick and easy. It’s ideal for light winds and for making those first flights easier, especially when your pumping is a bit unsteady as you’re trying to manage everything at once.

Hull

The flat hull on the rear third is 100% planing. Water flow is optimized, giving maximum glide for ultra-easy and fast takeoffs no matter your level.

The double concave up front channels the water flow and softens touchdowns, making them painless.

Tail

A squash tail and flat hull add more glide, making takeoffs and stability at rest easier. Perfect for kneeling and standing phases before your very first flights.

Rails

Straight, sharp rails at the tail give the Lance more glide, similar to a windsurf board. The sharpness enhances planing, drive, and makes takeoff easier. In the middle, the rails are less vertical, and on the front third they’re very softened, for even more comfort and forgiveness.

Nose

The rounded nose is generous while staying sleek and smooth.

The double concave under the nose, combined with the bulb, narrow outline, and faceted rails, makes touchdowns completely painless. Instead of slowing down, the Lance bounces off the water and takes flight again immediately. It’s truly incredible. This lack of penalty encourages you to try maneuvers and will make you progress very quickly.

Recessed Deck

The recessed deck allows for a more direct connection with the foil, optimizing responsiveness and precision in foot pressure. By lowering the center of gravity, it enhances the board’s stability and delivers exceptional control, even in challenging conditions. A feeling of total mastery for a smoother and more reassuring glide.

Multi-position Rear Strap

To allow as many riders as possible to optimize their stance in turns, this board is equipped with 6 rows of rear strap inserts, letting you choose the position that best fits your preferences.

The central footstrap position is the standard option, but some riders prefer to offset their stance. The additional inserts are perfect for riding offset and strapped, whether you’re goofy or regular.

You also have the option to adjust forward or backward across five levels.

Ridge Traction Pad

With its perfect grip and 5 mm thickness, the new Ridge Traction Pad provides absolute comfort and traction. Your stance is completely secure, and your control reaches surgical precision.

The contact with the board is firm and direct, ensuring perfect foil handling—while still keeping the cushioning of a 5 mm pad.

Wood 2X Technology

Our entry-level construction is of very high quality, with a full wood sandwich and reinforcements in PVC sandwich and fiberglass.

The board is fully reinforced beyond the fiberglass lamination with a vacuum-bonded wood sandwich and an extra-strong biaxial fiberglass layer. Fully means the deck, the bottom, and also the rails.

The deck benefits from an additional reinforcement in 3mm high-density PVC (Airex) sandwich, which limits all impacts and guarantees durability. It’s the perfect technology for beginners looking for an unbeatable price/strength ratio.

Rails: the wood sandwich structure fully wraps the rails, ensuring structural strength and good shock resistance.
Foil-specific reinforcements: high-density, waterproof PVC block housing the two US boxes and handle.
The PVC box block is connected to the deck to avoid EPS delamination in this critical zone.
Four layers of carbon reinforce the boxes.
Integrated GONG carrying handle within the box reinforcement and PVC bottom sandwich: no risk of breakage around this area.
First epoxy hot coat: premium process, no porosity, strong finish.

For whom?

Whether you’re a beginner or just riding casually, the Lance is a board designed to keep things simple. It’s smooth and easy, yet still very effective.

Its role is to make your life easier. So, a pro will probably find it too big and too tame.

In both winging and lowkite, the Lance is a super accessible board for beginners, with each size corresponding to a body type or a preference for comfort.

In a large volume it’s almost easy to use as a SUP foiling board, but in smaller sizes you’ll need to be in good physical shape or be lightweight. And in all cases, you need to know how to paddle straight on a very short board.

For what?

The Lance is a pure wing foiling / lowkite board, relatively short to keep it fun, but super stable and 100% dedicated to progression.

Starting out in wing foiling or lowkite has never been so easy and enjoyable!

You can also use it in SUP foiling because it’s well-balanced, but paddling on such a short board is not straightforward. Still, it remains versatile in this sport if you feel like giving it a try.

The Ascent foil: The easy, versatile foil for fast progression.

The Ascent foil takes off early, remains stable and forgiving, and helps you link maneuvers and turns with confidence. Agile and reassuring, it lets you progress quickly while maintaining a smooth, enjoyable feel, so you can make the most of every session.

Which stabilizer?

Preferably, we recommend pairing an X-Over stabilizer with your X-Over front wing, or an Ascent stabilizer with your Ascent front wing, as these combinations are designed for the same program and optimized to work in perfect harmony.

General guidelines for choosing stabilizer sizes: the ideal size will depend on your board, your skill level, your weight, the conditions at your spot, and also your front wing.
