Shortboard competition: the steroid version of our do-it-all Shortboard (the Alu) for incredible performance in our european conditions!
Presentation
Performance Shortboard shaped for excelling in small to medium conditions and/or imperfect ones, and what we usually see happening during Heats. The Chemical gives its best in 1m/1m20 on wave that is somewhat mushy with very little shoulder. The combination between acceleration and pivot nulifies these conditions, it’s impressive efficiency and allows you to lay down all your moves in your repertoire. It’s an extremely nervy board, hyper-active and makes it possible to solicite the entire length of the wave where its natural speed makes for linking moves with fluidity. The width at the back foot is consistent and the kick quite low. The resulting acceleration is magic, with speed reached very quickly and within a very short distance making the completion of move easy and radical. The hull has had some work done : a simple pronouced concave under the front foot and a double concave running between the stance ending up in a Vee at the back foot. The rail to rail is instinctive, magic and the drive super precise, speed and maneuverability are explosive. This board is available in PU or EPS, 2 different forms of construction and in 7 different sizes to fit everyones sizes needs and skill level to coincide with your personnal discipline. A highly reactive, efficient Board who’s directionnal guidance’s instinctual and perfectly conducive to a moderne and dynamic drive.

How to properly glue your pads?
The question of the pad often comes down to an aesthetic choice for the look of your board. But what seems like luxury to non-pros is actually a huge help.
If surfing is the art of placement then you need to put your feet properly on the board. And what better than a touch marker to know, ok, I’m at the sweet spot for this turn.?
Sticking good pads is therefore essential. They will signal to your feet whether they are in the perfect position or not.
You still have to stick them properly, and some get very creative…
