The Atomic is intended for very good surfers and pros who want a board that’s 100% competition oriented but which remains clean at high speeds and on very hollow faces: the ideal Board for solid barrels.
The hull is the key point because beyond its pinched outline is the concave under the rear foot to tail that gives the character of this board. You’ll have the grip and the drive to spare. This is not a board to throw spray in 50cm. It’s a board to carve and for getting barreled!
Its square tail, which stretches the line of outline to the furthest point, retains a great reactivity despite a lot of hold in the turns. It ensures an immediate projection from the first impulsion, allowing to drop under the lip with confidence. It also helps to maintain the speed to pass through the sections.
It obviously has thin rails but its volume slightly advanced to combine excellent paddling with a thinned out tail.
