The pack has also been designed to optimize its weight and volume. It fits perfectly in your car trunk and can be checked as luggage, so you can get on the water anytime, anywhere . All the foil components are cleverly stored in the compartments integrated into the HIPE bag. The wing fits easily with the board. In total, your pack weighs less than 21kg*. This leaves you room to add a wetsuit and/or another wing without exceeding the standard weight limits for long-haul flights.

We have selected for you the preferred foil and wing size for the HIPE Perf you will choose.
In 2026, we redesigned the composition of the packs to closely reflect a fun, simple and progressive practice , designed to help you progress without any hassle.
- For kids, small builds and experienced riders: the HIPE Perf 5'1 comes with the Plus wing in 4m2 and an X-Over L foil for a light, maneuverable and accessible combo ;
- With the HIPE Perf 5'3 or 5'5 , the Wing Plus in 5m2 and the X-Over XL foil you will have the most versatile setup, ideal for the majority of riders and spots ;
- For larger sizes and lighter conditions: the HIPE Perf 5'10 comes with the Plus wing in 6m2 and an X-Over XXL foil which deliver power, lift and easy take-off.
So select the board that suits you, we'll take care of the rest!
Several volumes are available to meet the needs of each practitioner according to their level, physical condition and use.
Beginner:
You can take a volume sufficient to float easily, on the order of your weight + 50 = volume.
- Example: I weigh 80kg + 50 = 130L to float. Which means that with 140L or more I'll be fine.
Comfort :
You can take on a volume sufficient to float, on the order of your weight + 20 = volume.
Example: I weigh 80kg + 20 = 100L to float. This means that with 110L or more I'll be fine, provided I have a good level of wing foiling skill.
What accessories?
Safety is of paramount importance for the practice of board sports, and even more so when it comes to foil sports.
Leashes are essential; remember, they're your life jacket! Our HIPE First pack includes a wing leash and a board leash. Check their condition before each session and replace them annually.
In addition, to practice in the best conditions, it is absolutely necessary to wear a protective helmet and an impact vest.
We have also developed a range of Bodyguard textiles, which provide additional protection against the risk of cuts associated with foiling. The risk is always present, but it is even greater during the learning phase.
We strongly recommend that you protect yourself as much as possible.
Once your safety is ensured, it's time to think about optimizing your equipment to support your progress! Here's a selection of smart options to enhance your training:
- For a smooth start, add a 65cm aluminum mast to your quiver. Its shorter length limits the flying height, makes learning safer, and facilitates foil control. It's ideal for first flights, shallow waters, or introducing younger riders to foiling.
- For more committed practice, upgrade your Wing Plus with rigid handles for more precise piloting, or a removable boom: the perfect setup to gain control and maneuverability, once you know exactly where to place your hands. Also add harness ends and equip yourself with a harness to relieve your arms during long sessions or in strong winds.
What accessories?

A wing leash is essential . Once released, if the wing is not held by its leash, it will immediately fly away several dozen meters from you, and it will only stop its course once it is blocked by an obstacle which will damage it in most cases.
A board leash is also very important, especially when learning. It keeps your board close to you. You keep a safety float within easy reach and, most importantly, prevent it from injuring others. Choose a 6-foot leash with a minimum diameter of 7mm. Check its condition before each session and replace it annually. It's your life jacket.

Good to know:
Never leave your board in the sun, especially an inflatable board, and even less so a black carbon fiber board, which will heat up very quickly. You risk it peeling off!
Don't screw in beyond the bottom of the box, or you'll end up inside the inflatable. We supply non-through US squares, but be careful.
Never let your foil board get tossed around in the waves, especially near the shore. You must protect it from major impacts. A wave that sweeps your board away and rolls it can cause serious damage.
Equipments
Your board comes in a redesigned, super practical and robust wheeled carrying bag .
- The bag is designed with all the necessary compartments for the board and foil.
- These backpack straps are heavily padded and incorporate back and chest straps for added comfort.
- The handles are super sturdy and comfortable.
- Its pocket is enlarged at the front to isolate and protect your frontwing from the rest… and to accommodate wetsuit, poncho, change of clothes and whatever ;), now without space constraints!
- And the compression straps reduce the bag's volume to a minimum.

- The complete set of screws includes a pair of non-through SCS inserts secured by a carbon fiber rod for mounting the foil to the board in just two turns of a wrench:
- Foil screws: TF M6 T30 screws x7 in 30mm (mast screws), TF M6 T30 screws in 50mm x3 (fuselage screws), TF M6 T30 screws in 25mm x4 (wing screws);
- Plate screws: TF M6 T30 x4 screws in 20mm with 4 cup washers;
- Strap screws: Torx M6 x10 screws in 14mm with 5 flat washers with 3 holes;
- The key for tightening the foil screws;
- A repair kit for the wing;
- A repair kit for the board.
