With four sizes to choose from (46cm, 52cm, 57cm and 62cm), our bar adapts to all GONG kites and the specific needs of each rider in terms of maneuverability and responsiveness.
It is equipped with the quick release QR-CLICK, certified ISO 21853: this is the most important safety component of your bar. The release is simple and fast even under tension and allows you to quickly release yourself if needed. The big advantage of this release is its easy one-click reset. Simply present the chicken loop attachment in front of its notch, press it in, and the release resets. Simplicity and essential efficiency on the water! 
The standard chicken loop provided with the bar is robust and durable. It is equipped with a semi-rigid rotating donkey stick to prevent unintentional releases or, conversely, to set it aside for unhooked freestylers. Interchangeable to customize your bar according to your practice, it is available optionally in a short Slider version for sliding rope spreader bars, and in a long version with a donkey stick for easy rehooking in Freestyle.
Regarding the bar itself, the EVA molded grip and its slim diameter of 22mm ensure lightweight and maximum comfort while ensuring exceptional precision. The bar fits perfectly in your hands for the long hours of a session. 
This precision is boosted by the top-of-the-line 1.55mm Liros DC PRO 401 lines manufactured in Germany with Dyneema SK99 fiber. With a breaking strength of over 400kg and almost zero elongation, they offer the best choice in terms of strength and elongation. No elasticity, no delay. Feedback is direct, and the kite is ultra-responsive.
The bar is offered with a line setup of 19m and pre-installed 3m extensions. This allows you to adapt your lines to your program and wind conditions. The standard length provides a more progressive and predictable bar feel, ideal for freeriding and low to medium wind range for its extra pull. Whereas short lines without extensions offer a more radical steering, a more direct kite response, for an advanced level rider in waves or freestyle, and in strong winds. Line splices are also sewn to ensure exceptional durability.
Pre-lines of 50 cm Dyneema 3mm and coated with TPU, complete the setup to offer more comfort and safety for your hands when handling your lines during relaunch for example. 
Above the release, the un-twister allows you to untwist your front lines. Thanks to its inte grated ball bearing, it turns effortlessly even under load and allows you to untwist your lines to limit their wear and optimize the release.
The 53cm depower throw is important with maximum of power for extreme conditions, while keeping the bar within reach. Coated with a PU tube for a total diameter of 12mm, it offers exceptional security and durability. The aluminum bar tube is equipped with a large and beveled central INOX A4 eyelet, optimized to allow smooth passage of the depower throw regardless of the angle of grip. 
The 25cm Dyneema trim ensures perfect adjustment of the length of your front lines according to the conditions to control the kite’s power. The Trim Cleat is super convenient. It locks or unlocks the trim line intuitively in one motion. The trim handle is lightweight and attaches to the grip integrated into the Trim Cleat to not interfere during navigation. 
Like all our metal parts, the fixed friction ring through which the safety line passes, and the leash ring, are made of INOX A4 with a high molybdenum content to minimize corrosion and ensure durability.
The generous floats facilitate the bar’s flotation. Practical for relaunching to see clearly in the pre-lines. Line winding is facilitated with a simple and effective blocking system.
To maximize the compatibility of our bar with existing kites on the market, the pigtails are reversible to choose the attachment suitable for your kite.
Finally, your bar is also accompanied by a high-quality short kite leash. So, you have in hand a complete and high-performing product to ensure safe navigation. 
The bar and kite leash set comes in a bag to protect your equipment between sessions.

Buying guide
Keep in mind that the longer your bar, the easier it will be to turn your kite. Also, remember that the smaller the kite, the easier it will turn. So, the smaller the kite, the more you need a smaller bar to balance behaviors.
Conversely, the larger your kite and the more you use it in light wind, the slower it will be. A longer bar will have a greater leverage effect to compensate for this natural loss of reactivity.
Therefore, consider these parameters to choose the size of your bar and adapt the steering to the feeling you like and the conditions encountered.
If you want smooth and progressive steering, then you should “undersize” the bar. If you want more reactive but less forgiving steering, you should choose a longer bar.
For example, if I want smoother steering with my 9m2, then I will go for a 46cm bar.
If I want hyper-reactive steering, then I would go for the 52cm bar.
Oversizing the bar will have little interest and paradoxically will result in a feeling of heaviness in steering in the case of the 62cm. This one will be perfect, even essential in light wind. But in stronger winds, it will be slower to untwist and manipulate.
Between the 46 and the 52, there is no sensation of heaviness. These are two very close bars.
Note also that the 52 is perfectly usable on all our kites. No kite will not work or perform poorly for this reason. The 46, 57 and 62 are just optimizations for perfectionists.
It should also be noted that two bars generally age only half as fast as a single bar for the whole quiver ?
The key size is 52cm; it is the most versatile bar that you should choose if you want to have only one bar for a quiver 7-9-12 or 8-11 or even 8-10-13. If you want to add a second bar to your quiver, here are our recommendations with GONG kites:
The recommendations below are based on the behavior of GONG kites. Since our bars are compatible with a large number of kites, you can adjust your choice according to the type of kite used.
Your bar comes standard with 80cm pre-lines, 19m lines, and 3m extensions already mounted.
The standard setup is the most versatile and will be your best choice for 90% of your sessions.
In some cases or to meet a specific feeling, you can shorten your lines.
Note that 22m and 19m are not extreme line lengths and remain a fine adjustment to your piloting sensation.
To adapt the bar to a wide range of programs and rider needs, GONG offers you the possibility to complete your bar with different types of chicken loop options.
As standard, the bar is delivered with the Freeride standard loop, which allows you to bring the depower closer to your body for all sizes and limits unintentional unhooking in case of improper positioning of the donkey stick by the user (because you will mechanically overdepower less involuntarily).
For foilers and wave riders using a rope harness, it is imperative to choose the Slider loop. It will allow ultra-smooth sliding of the loop without risking damage to the rope or chicken loop. Note: this chicken loop is mandatory if you use a rope, as the TPU coating of the standard chicken loop is not designed to slide along a rope. This can quickly damage the coating of the chicken loop and cut the inner dyneema.
For Wakestylers, the Freestyle loop is a “must-have” to allow easy hooking/unhooking in a larger loop.
Equipments
If you wish, and for your unhooked freestyle sessions, you can purchase a long or extra-long leash additionally (not included with the bar).

Les lignes sont particulièrement coupantes. Ne prenez jamais une ligne en main lorsqu’elle risque d’être sous tension. Ne faites jamais voler votre kite à proximité de personnes afin de ne pas risquer de les blesser. Notez que les lignes humides peuvent conduire l’électricité en cas d’orage et si vous touchez des lignes électriques. Soyez extrêmement prudents.
Le largage n’est efficace que s’il est anticipé. Si vous n’anticipez pas, vous ne pourrez plus larguer sans risque. Le kitesurf oblige à anticiper pour être bien pratiqué. N’allez pas dans des zones dangereuses et des situations cul de sac. Dévrillez très régulièrement les tours sur vos lignes avants.
