This is the recipe of our kiteboard range with a variety of riding programs with the Matata, Pie, Fatal, Catch, Alu, and Lethal models, as well as unprecedented shape innovations like new channels, always in their full sandwich FSP 2X construction.

Channels

Gain simultaneously in speed, grip, and maneuverability with the new channels that complement the hulls of the Pie, Fatal, Catch, Alu, and Lethal. How? The new channels underline these decisive qualities in surfing by:

Better directional control, as well as in your trajectory. You are more serene in your supports and you can push your limits even further.
By channeling the water, the channels significantly accelerate the flows and therefore your speed in the waves or when you are riding normally.
The rocker is slightly tighter in selected sections, or on the contrary accentuated. Thus, we vary the flows to optimize the character of each shape.
Maneuverability is upgraded by the channels. Combined with an already maneuverable shape, they provide more drive, hence more capacity to push in the carves. The board gains efficiency, radicality, and fluidity in the turns.

Moreover, they act as real shock absorbers that diffuse the impact on reception and the choppy water during navigation for a much smoother feeling. They also provide more natural rigidity to the composite, and more resistance to breakage.

At the root of the development of this range is a passion for surfing which inspires its main lines. We find, for example, the radicality of a Lethal EPS, the pop of a Catch EPS, or the accelerations of a Matata EPS. A durable and high-performance full sandwich construction

The FSP 2X construction implemented across the entire range is a true full sandwich of biaxial fiberglass and PVC. This means we have multiple layers present on the entire board, the deck, the rail, and the hull. Sandwiched between several layers of biaxial fiberglass, there is a 3mm thick high-density PVC which is strong, lightweight, and hydrophobic. It forms an integral, rigid, and solid shell on the EPS core of your board. Combined with biaxial fiberglass, it guarantees you the best durability/performance compromise on the market. And with the manufacturing process that combines vacuum bagging, the final weight of your board is perfectly controlled. Durable, efficient, repairable, brands offering a full PVC sandwich series for kiteboards are rare, and GONG leads the way in this field!
