The ultra-versatile Team Series carbon stab for fast freeriding, wave riding, surf foiling and high-performance SUP foiling, plus basic freestyle: low end, speed, pop, rail to rail and instant speed build-up.

Overview

The Fluid V3 Atmo Team Series is the ultra-versatile carbon stab for riders who want a fast, loose, precise foil that feels incredibly lively underfoot.

It excels in wave riding, high-performance freeride, surf foiling and committed SUP foiling, as well as basic freestyle. Where the Curve favours a very settled foil with reassuring carves, the Fluid frees up the rail to rail, sharpens edge-to-edge transitions and lets you carve hard or snap with far more responsiveness.

Its 8.5 aspect ratio improves efficiency, glide and speed retention. The outline recentres foot pressure and refines the tips to reduce drag, free up the foil and keep lines clean despite this high level of manoeuvrability.

Its fast profile still keeps plenty of tolerance at low speed. More powerful than the previous generation, it maintains a clear presence underfoot, plenty of pop and strong low-end performance despite the shorter span.

The low dihedral enhances its snappy feel and yaw freedom. Slightly more pronounced than before, it keeps the foil balanced and predictable as speed builds, without holding back the rail to rail.

When pumping to build speed, the Fluid drives efficiently forwards. It helps you regain speed, get through a soft section or reconnect quickly. It also works very well for pure pumping in the hands of a good rider, even if that's not its main programme.

Compared with the Perf version, the Team Series carbon construction brings more stiffness, precision, pop, durability and direct response.

The Fluid V3 Atmo Team Series is therefore the do-it-all carbon stab for riding fast, carving hard, snapping, popping and building speed with a loose, high-performance and ultra-lively foil.

FLUID OUTLINE

The revised outline recentres the surface area and refines the tips to free up rail-to-rail transitions and reduce unwanted pressure at the extremities.

The foil rolls more naturally from one edge to the other, with a very fluid, precise ride that feels exceptionally light underfoot.

The slightly swept-back tips increase the stab's lever arm. This means you can reduce its surface area and drag while keeping solid support and clean, readable lines.

ASPECT RATIO 8.5

The slightly increased 8.5 aspect ratio improves hydrodynamic efficiency, glide and speed retention.

The stab accelerates more easily, carries speed better and lets you stay fast through carves, transitions and long lines.

This ratio remains moderate enough to preserve the Fluid DNA: plenty of manoeuvrability, freedom and a foil that is easy to reposition.

FAST, POWERFUL PROFILE

The profile is optimised for medium and high speeds, with crisp acceleration and reduced drag.

Its high stall tolerance keeps the foil predictable when speed drops, in a soft section or out of a manoeuvre.

More powerful than the previous generation, it retains solid support, pop and strong light wind performance despite the shorter span.

LOW DIHEDRAL

The low dihedral frees up the foil in yaw and sharpens its responsiveness, rail to rail feel and snappy character.

It also maximises power through the centre section and reduces drag, which improves glide and speed build-up.

Slightly more pronounced than on the previous generation, it still delivers a composed and precise feel at high speed. This evolution remains deliberately subtle so as not to tone down the Fluid DNA.

SHORTER WINGSPAN

The reduced span increases pitch responsiveness and makes the foil quicker to control through carves, transitions and tricks.

The foil pivots more naturally, responds instantly to changes in foot pressure and gains manoeuvrability.

The more powerful profile compensates for this reduced lever arm to maintain a clear presence underfoot and a well-balanced foil.

SUPERLOCK SELF-LOCKING SYSTEM

The V3 SuperLock self-locking connection was engineered to ensure a perfect fit between the stabilizer and fuselage, even after hours on the water. The more load applied to the rear of the foil, the more the joint mechanically locks itself into the fuselage.

This design delivers a direct gain in stiffness, precision, and silent functioning. The foil stays perfectly secured, with no unwanted play, even under heavy loads in turns, pumping, accelerations or hard landings. Forces are transferred more efficiently, handling becomes more precise, and the feeling under your feet remains consistent throughout the session.

The connection requires only two screws underneath the stabilizer. Assembly is quick, simple, and practical for everyday use. Swapping stabilizers takes only a few moments, without extra screws or a complicated setup.

The locking angle has been carefully engineered to provide maximum self-locking under load while still allowing easy disassembly after your session. Even after a demanding ride, the stabilizer can be removed from the fuselage effortlessly.

This self-locking concept has already proven itself over several years on our V2 and V3 stabilizers. It is a genuine mechanical advantage: simple, fast, stiff, reliable, and built to last.

A Higher-Performance Fuselage Shape

One of the key developments in this range is the complete redesign of our foils to enhance both their structural integrity and hydrodynamic performance.

Its new rounded profile delivers a 12% improvement in glide efficiency, while the thicker section near the stabilizer increases the foil's overall strength and stiffness.
Countless hours of computational analysis on high-performance computers enabled us to optimize every detail for maximum performance. Every transition and fillet between components was carefully engineered to minimize hydrodynamic disturbances while increasing the overall stiffness and durability of the assembly.

V3 Atmo, a new era

The V3 Atmo range marks a major leap forward in the design, manufacturing, and finishing of our foils. Reaching this new level of performance required far more than evolving the shapes. We rethought the entire process, from R&D to the finished product.

Every V3 Atmo shape is designed in 3D, digitally optimized, thoroughly tested by the GONG Team, and manufactured with an unprecedented level of precision. Profiles, thickness distribution, transitions, fillets, connection areas, and trailing edges have all been refined to reduce parasitic drag, improve water flow, and maximize efficiency.

Our new production facility enables manufacturing in an ultra-clean, highly controlled environment with a level of precision approaching that of the world's leading aerospace, motorsport, and high-performance composite industries. Optimized extraction of solvents and dust creates better working conditions while ensuring cleaner parts throughout every stage of production.

Tighter control over every step, from material handling, layup, machining, and molding to cooling and finishing, delivers an unprecedented level of accuracy, particularly on the trailing edges. This controlled refinement minimizes hydrodynamic disturbances, reduces noise, improves glide, and contributes to the overall performance gains of the V3 Atmo range.

But the real breakthrough isn't just producing a beautiful part, it's producing the same beautiful part every time. Every wing leaves the factory with the same profile, the same fit, the same trailing edge, the same stiffness, and the same ride feel. In foiling, even a few tenths of a millimeter can affect ventilation, stall behavior, noise, speed, and stability.

Who is it for?

The Fluid V3 Atmo Team Series is aimed at intermediate to advanced riders looking for a fast, manoeuvrable, free-feeling and highly versatile carbon stab. You do not need to be a champion to love it.

It suits all-round riders who alternate between waveriding, high-performance freeride, surf foiling, SUP foiling and basic freestyle, without wanting to specialise their setup for a single discipline.

The Team Series construction demands more precision than the Perf version, but it brings a very noticeable gain in glide, pop, stiffness and response underfoot.

Avoid it if…

The Fluid is not a beginner stab. Its low dihedral, reduced surface area and very free foil feel require solid handling fundamentals.

If you are mainly looking for a settled, very reassuring foil that feels guided through carves, the Curve will be a more coherent choice.

If your absolute priority is glide, pumping, average speed and freefly, the Veloce will be better suited.

For highly committed aerial freestyle, choose a stab specifically developed for tricks and heavy landings.

What for?

The Fluid excels in committed waveriding, with fast rail to rail, snaps, short carves and instant speed build-up.

It delivers plenty of front foot pressure. This is not a stab that makes the foil feel neutral. You can really push against it and get a strong, present response that boosts every area of performance.

In high-performance freeride, it offers an excellent mix of speed, control, manoeuvrability and glide. The foil stays lively without becoming unpredictable. It comes close to race foils with genuine freerace capabilities.

In surf foiling and SUP foiling, it lets you surf fast and with powerful pressure through your turns, reconnect quickly and steer the foil precisely through the sections.

In basic freestyle (FS36, Palau, etc.), its pop, short wingspan and carbon construction let you send jumps and simple tricks with loads of dynamism.

For pumping, it works very well for riders who want presence through the back foot. It is easy to pump, but more substantial than a specialised stab from the Trail range.

What size?

The choice depends on the size of the front wing, your build, the craft, your level and the feel you are after.

A larger stab brings more support, more front foot pressure, more low-end range and more control. It also adds drag and tones down manoeuvrability.

A smaller stab frees up more speed, glide, rail to rail and responsiveness. It reduces front foot pressure and requires more precision.

Always match the stab size to the front wing size to keep a balanced aircraft. With the Fluid, avoid oversizing if you are looking for its free and fast feel.

What’s the difference between the Fluid Team and the Fluid Perf?

The Team is stiffer, more precise, faster, stronger and more responsive. Its new shape also delivers more glide, more drive and better overall performance.

What’s the difference between Fluid and Curve?

The Curve feels more locked-in, easier and more guided through carves. The Fluid is much looser, faster, more responsive and snappier.

What’s the difference between Fluid and Veloce?

The Fluid prioritises versatility, manoeuvrability and carving. The Veloce prioritises glide, average speed, freefly and downwind.

Is it suited to wave riding?

Yes, that’s one of the things it does best.

It lets you carve hard, snap, drift, correct, build speed quickly and keep a very lively foil.

Can it be used for pure pump foiling?

Yes, for a solid rider. It pumps easily at a normal cadence and has a strong presence that can feel reassuring, but its main programme remains versatility and aggressive carves in the waves or fast freeride.

Can you jump with the Fluid Team?

Yes for basic freestyle and controlled jumps. For highly committed freestyle and heavy landings, choose a dedicated stab with dedicated sections and spans.

Which size should you choose?

Choose a bigger size for more support, better low-end and more control. Choose a smaller size for more speed, freedom, glide and responsiveness.

Never bigger than the front wing size: XL with XL. But not much smaller either. It’s counterproductive. An XL front wing with an M stab for example, isn’t great because it’s very nose-down and therefore slow, with a misleading sense of responsiveness.
