Overview

The Micro V3 Atmo Pro Team Series Fuselage - Ypra Race mast compatible is the high-performance fuselage built for the most demanding setups in the range.

Available exclusively in titanium, it delivers a level of stiffness, durability and precision perfectly suited to disciplines where every detail matters: race

Its slimmer, more hydrodynamic shape significantly optimises glide. Less volume, less drag, more usable speed: the foil accelerates more freely, carries its inertia better and gains in pure glide.

The Micro V3 Atmo is designed for front wings, stabs and tail shafts compatible with Micro V3 ATMO. It allows you to build a more compact, faster and more direct setup, with a precise mechanical connection and excellent transmission through your foot pressure.

This version allows older Ypra Race masts with 2 M6 screws to be fitted to Micro V3 Atmo foils.

The Micro V3 Atmo Fuselage means less drag in the water and more speed under your feet.

HYDRODYNAMIC SHAPE

The shape of the Micro V3 Atmo Fuselage has been optimised to minimise drag and improve the foil’s glide.

Its slimmer section reduces the frontal area exposed to the flow. The foil runs cleaner, accelerates more naturally and holds its speed better through high-speed sections. This optimisation is especially noticeable in disciplines where entry speed or average speed make the difference: race, freestyle, performance downwind or committed freefly.

The gain is not just about outright speed. By reducing losses, the fuselage also delivers a freer, smoother and more direct feel underfoot. The foil breathes better, speed build-up is sharper and every input feels more effective.

TITANIUM

The Micro V3 Atmo Fuselage is available exclusively in titanium.

This choice delivers an extremely stiff, strong and durable part, while keeping the weight equivalent to that of a V3 aluminium fuselage. So you get the benefits of a premium material without adding weight to the setup.

Titanium also provides excellent long-term mechanical stability. The connections stay precise, load transfer is clean, and the foil keeps a crisp, controlled feel even in the most demanding use.

It is a logical choice for a Pro Team Series fuselage: a high-end material for fast, precise, no-compromise setups.

CONNECTION AND STIFFNESS

The Micro V3 Atmo Fuselage delivers a stiff, precise connection between the mast, front wing and stabiliser.

This stiffness is essential on fast setups: less flex means less energy loss, more precision and a clearer feel for the foil under your feet. In race, every speed build-up becomes more efficient. In freestyle, every compression is converted into pop more effectively. In downwind, micro-adjustments are sharper and the foil remains easier to read at high speed.

This fuselage retains the self-tightening interlocking principle of the V3 fuselage, with two angled faces.

The upper face for the front wing connection is prismatic to minimise bulk inside the front wing and improve hydrodynamics.

The upper face for the stab connection is rounded to follow the shaft.

MAST CONNECTION

The Micro V3 Atmo Fuselage - compatible with the Ypra Race mast lets you fit the Ypra Race mast, which uses 2 M6 screws. This means you can benefit from the latest Micro V3 Atmo setups without changing your Ypra Race mast.

This compatibility lets you upgrade your setup progressively, without having to change everything. With this retro-compatible fuselage, you get the glide gains and refined profile of the Micro fuselage. The connection with the mast remains precise, stiff and perfectly aligned to guarantee direct transmission of rider input.

The Micro V3 Atmo therefore stands out with its thinner shape, titanium construction and performance-oriented programme.

For mounting on the mast, use M6x25 screws, like those used with a Micro V3 Race fuselage.

Fuselage Micro V3 Atmo

Le fuselage Micro V3 Atmo est l’évolution la plus radicale du standard V3 pour les front wings les plus rapides de la gamme Pro Team Series. Il reprend la logique mécanique du V3, mais dans un diamètre réduit pour diminuer la traînée au maximum.

Son diamètre plus fin offre un gain hydrodynamique majeur. Moins de matière exposée au flux, moins de traînée frontale, moins de perturbations autour de la connexion : le foil file plus librement, accélère plus facilement et conserve mieux sa vitesse entre deux appuis, deux relances ou deux transitions.

Le Micro V3 Atmo est usiné en titane pour conserver un très haut niveau de rigidité et de solidité malgré la réduction de diamètre. Il apporte un gain net de glisse, de vitesse moyenne et de précision, sans sacrifier la fiabilité mécanique attendue sur un setup Pro Team.

En race, slalom ou très haute vitesse, ce gain est déterminant. Moins de traînée, c’est plus d’accélération, une meilleure Vmax, plus de cap, plus de relance et surtout une vitesse moyenne plus élevée sur tout le run ou tout le parcours. Le foil garde son inertie, tient mieux son rythme et demande moins d’énergie pour rester rapide.

Sous les pieds, le Micro V3 Atmo donne un feeling plus direct. Les appuis sont plus précis, les changements d’angle plus nets, les trajectoires plus verrouillées à haute vitesse. Quand il faut caper fort, abattre, relancer, passer une bouée ou tenir une ligne rapide, le foil répond avec moins d’inertie parasite.

Avoid it if...

Avoid this fuselage if you are using a standard V3 mast or a Ypra Race V3 Atmo mast. In that case, you need to choose the standard Micro V3 Atmo Fuselage, which is compatible with V3 masts.

Avoid it as well if you are looking for a versatile setup compatible with standard V3 components. This fuselage is not designed to replace a classic V3 fuselage in a general-purpose quiver.

It is intended for specific setups built around Micro V3 Atmo-compatible front wings, stabs, Tail Shafts and Shim Tails, with a mast interface dedicated to the older Ypra Race mast.

Finally, avoid it if you do not want to deal with dedicated compatibility or specific hardware. Mounting it to the mast requires the correct screws for this interface to ensure proper tightening and avoid damaging the equipment.

Compatibility

The Micro V3 Atmo Fuselage compatible with the Ypra Race mast is only compatible with the older Ypra Race mast.

It is not compatible with standard V3 masts or with the Ypra Race V3 Atmo mast. For those masts, you need to use the standard Micro V3 Atmo Fuselage.

On the foil side, it is only compatible with Micro V3 Atmo components.

It must be used with front wings, stabs, Tail Shafts and Shim Tails designed for this architecture. It is not compatible with components designed for the standard V3 fuselage.

This fuselage compatible with the older Ypra Race mast is 2.8 cm longer than the standard Micro V3 Atmo Fuselage. To keep the same wheelbase as a Ypra Race Micro V3 Atmo setup mounted on the standard fuselage, we therefore developed Ypra Race Micro V3 Atmo Short stabs, shortened by 2.8 cm.

These Short stabs restore the same functional distance between the front wing and the stabiliser, and therefore the same overall foil balance, with a feel close to the standard Micro V3 Atmo setup. However, if you want even more stability, you can use the standard Ypra Race Micro V3 stabs.

Can I use this fuselage with an Ypra Race V3 Atmo mast?

No. The Ypra Race V3 Atmo mast belongs to the new V3 mast architecture. It must be used with the standard Micro V3 Atmo Fuselage, not with this version compatible with the older Ypra Race mast.
