GEAR: A RANGE OF HIGH ASPECT FOILS THAT CELEBRATES 10 YEARS OF R&D
In May 2014, we launched our range of Allvator foils. Since then, we have continued to innovate to move the...
The front wing for carving and surfing that’s easy to pump with a formidable drive.
A magical rail to rail, along with an impressive glide and a truly comfortable lift, is what the Curve H stands out for. Qualities that make it very accessible despite being a performance wing.
It is the front wing of choice for mixing simplicity and the advantages of high aspect foils; be it for winging, surf foiling, kite foiling, dockstarts, or even wake foiling. It excels in carves, jumps, pumping, freeflying… impressive versatility without any complexity.
In its DNA we find the outline of the Curve which makes it a bestseller. Its very rounded leading edge that sets the tips back, makes for a very healthy drive in carves, be it in the low end or at high speed. It's not a front wing for snappy turns: it's a carver. It has grip and won't lose the line of your carve. You can feel a form of constant traction in any trajectory, as opposed to with a more sneaky behavior.
The generous profile in the center offers a lot of lift. It takes off super early and the glide is fabulous on a huge range of speeds. In surfing it’s a game changer. Pumping is very effective without being technical: This magical profile “never” stalls!
The development of this new edition has been pushed to the extreme to offer you even more performance. Combined with our new self-tightening interlocking system and our round V3 fuselage, the gain is absolutely crazy.
The Curve H has an aspect ratio of 8.4 which makes it a performance wing without compromising its accessibility. It’s a front wing that carves, accelerates and glides while maintaining incredible low end and pumping capabilities.
The outline of the Curve H is curved towards the back to move its center of lift back. In addition to providing stability in carves, this artificially reduces the front to rear span to free the foil in yaw: the foil carves and turns short even at low speed.
On the wave it carves hard without overwhelming the surfer thanks to a high moderate aspect that perfectly blends glide and maneuverability. The behavior is very healthy; it goes from one rail to the other naturally. This moderation gives it a lot of versatility which makes it the perfect foil to access the high aspect shapes.
The profile is optimized to boost comfort and acceleration at low to medium speeds, while accepting relatively high speeds.
This wing is very forgiving in near stalling situations and allows for extensive pumping throughout its range of use.

The Curve H's dihedral is present to ensure grip in solid carves with a lot of pressure such as big bottom turns for example. It remains light to boost its lifty and planing character, which gives it a lot of comfort in the low end. This dihedral is progressive to facilitate grip in the carves, and limit breaching.

The tips are flat to facilitate rail to rail, improve hold when breaching the tip, maximize lift and pumping stability. Performance and comfort in the low end are boosted, as is forgiveness to piloting errors.

The settings of the foil on your board is identical to the previous version and all the GONG foils. This balance of forces is precisely calculated to guarantee you a constant feeling, especially when you move from one FW to another in a session.

Buying guide
You’re at the point where you’re flying all the time in wing foiling, you nail all your jibes and free fly on waves, in short you know how to wing foil and want to go next level? You’d like to go for a higher aspect ratio to gain in glide and average speed, but without switching to a pro-only front wing?
Then the Curve H is made for you as it is the easiest access to high aspect front wings! Its very predictable behavior, its natural rail to rail and its high lift make it very accessible for a front wing with such a high potential of performance.
In surf foiling / SUP foiling you have a good level and you are looking for glide without sacrificing low speed tolerance and maneuverability: the Curve H is the front wing that will allow you to tick all these boxes.
Initially developed for wave riding in surf/SUP/wing foiling, this wing finds its place in all foiling disciplines, from dockstart to kite foiling depending on size. It is the versatile high aspect front wing that offers you the best combo of maneuverability and lift.
The Curve H's low-speed lift means you don't need a lot of surface area to have fun. These are very forgiving and accessible foils for takeoff which allow you to reduce the surface area without losing low end.
You can:
Some generalities on the choice of front wing sizes:
The preferred size will depend on your foiling discipline, your level, your weight, the conditions of your spot but also your board and your wing.
When pumping, you want as much surface as possible to be able to get going without the help of a wave or wind. By improving your technique and gaining more speed, you can reduce the surface area you need.
In surf/SUP foiling, the perfect surface area would be small enough to turn with ease but large enough to take off and pump comfortably.
In wing foiling, all sizes work. The heavier the rider and/or the lighter the wind, the larger the size. Conversely, riders who are lighter and comfortable with takeoff can look for smaller sizes.
When kite foiling, you want to avoid wingspans of more than 80 cm because the counter-heel is significant and the tips will easily breach the surface. Favor lower aspect ratio front wings to start because they provide a lot of lift for a limited wingspan.

We recommend pairing a Curve H stab with your Curve H front wing, as these two components are designed for the same program and optimized to work in perfect harmony.
General information on the choice of stab sizes:
The preferred size will depend on your foiling discipline, your level, your weight, the conditions of your spot but also your front wing.
A larger stab will make take-off easier because the foil will generate a significant torque which will tend to give it a significant angle of attack. This also implies more front foot pressure.
A smaller stab will be more technical on takeoff but will boost speed and maneuverability. We also lose some front foot pressure, which means having to move the foil forward in the boxes to regain this stability.
Always adjust the size of the stab to the size of the front wing to obtain a balanced flight and functioning harmony between these two components.

Each of these high-performance foils have their strong points on which development has been particularly focused:
The Curve H is a combo of responsiveness and lift.
It’s the queen for carving and low end conditions (which does not mean it can’t handle speed, on the contrary!). It is also the most comfortable foil for pumping, which allows you to make numerous connections when surf foiling without burning your thighs.
The Fluid H is a combo of responsiveness and speed.
Perfect for turning very short, going fast, glide and enjoying a very dynamic drive. Add to that a very powerful pop and you understand why this foil will go wherever you want, in the water or in the air!
The Veloce H is a combo of glide and versatility.
It is a freefly and downwind machine. It’s the foil to glide and connect bumps endlessly with incomparable fluidity. Accelerations on the wave are stunning and it has a very low stall speed which facilitates flight in all circumstances.
The Veloce HDW: 100% glide.
To be even more focused on infinite glide, the Veloce HDW. The queen in downwinders.
