TEAM NEWS: BENJI LANDS DOUBLE FRONTFLIPS IN WING FOILING!
A Droid, a foil with spectacular pop and bang: double front flip!
While training for the Surf-Freestyle event in Gran Canaria, which kicks off today, Benjamin Castenskiold turned heads by landing his first double front flips in wing foil — practically in repop mode.
Big thanks to Bastien Escofet and his GoPro, who was perfectly positioned to capture this out-of-this-world move!

Malo came in hot for the next event’s prep, throwing doubles on repeat. Naturally, that didn’t go unnoticed by the other riders, who responded with varying degrees of landing pain ;-)
When it comes to making the magic happen you can turn to Benjamin. After catching everyone’s attention lately with innovative palau variations and combos, Benjamin once again went from visualizing a trick to nailing it perfectly. In just 6 attempts that is! Speed, a solid kicker, full commitment and raw talent — all the ingredients were there for a trick that now belongs in wing foiling history.
A double rotation praised by his peers across social media, and a clear signal that the Gran Canaria event will be one to watch! At just 14 years old, Benjamin is simply in the running for the world title, and this latest performance lets his rivals know they’ll need to go all-out to win!
