NEWS: THE NEW MINT AND LEMON IN FSP 2X TECHNOLOGY!

New performance boards for wave riding and freestyle in accessible shapes are now available in FSP 2X technology!
Unveiled a few days ago in their FSP Pro full Carbon/PVC sandwich technology, the latest evolutions of the Mint and the Lemon refine the extent of their respective program:
- The Mint is geared towards surfing with an outline reminiscent of the Lethal. This new edition stands out for its glide, comfort and forgiveness, which makes it the ideal board when you want to go down in volume, whether you are an experienced rider or still in the early stages. It’s also a weapon of choice for strapless sessions.
- The Lemon is the performance Surf-Freestyle board in an accessible shape. It’s more comfortable in pre-flight phases than a pure high-performance board and significantly easier in reception of tricks, while retaining that responsiveness and fluidity that we love in the waves.
Accessibility brings these two boards together with a wave and freeride oriented program for the Mint and a Surf-Freestyle one for the Lemon for those who like to punctuate their wave riding sessions with tricks. For full accessibility, these two models are offered in our FSP 2X Full sandwich fiberglass/PVC technology for the best weight/strength/performance compromise on the market.
Major modification in 2024
The shapes of the FSP 2X versions of the Mint and Lemon are identical to those in FSP Pro technology. They enjoy the same evolutions, including the paradigm shift illustrated upon the release of the FSP Pro wing boards. The foils are getting smaller and smaller and the maneuvers are evolving with an increasing importance of re-pop. The hulls of the new boards allow for more planing with very tight rockers and sharp, straight rails. They’re planing before flying. This also means you no longer fear touchdowns, even heavy ones, as the glide makes you take off again immediately.

The new Mint and Lemon seen by Malo Guénolé
“The Mint is a very sweet board to ride. It feels easy from the get-go as it reaches planing immediately for a smooth take-off. Once in the air it is a really fun board for downwinders, wave riding or just freeriding sessions. Due to its finesse, the contact with the foil feels more direct. And its relative long nose compared to other boards like the Lemon or the Stunt translates into a very surfy feel when wave riding. Just like the feeling of riding an easy mid-length.
It is also good at freestyle for basic tricks. For me it’s the perfect board to start riding smaller volumes without struggling.“

“I really like the Lemon for its ease of use and its ability to do it all. Its compact shape provides excellent maneuverability while remaining stable. In wave riding, it is very lively in carves, turns on the lip, re-entries, or airs. In freestyle, I find it very easy to handle for all aerial rotations, and its large hull surface allows for super soft landings. It’s a very fun board that allows for rapid progression in both wave riding and freestyle.”
