GEAR: THE SUP/WING VERSATILITY OF THE ZUMA

The Zuma’s outstanding glide makes it one of the most accessible and versatile boards in the range!
Looking for a board with a very good pre-flight stability, capable of rapid acceleration for ultra-smooth take offs in both wing foiling and SUP foiling? The Zuma combines these qualities in a shape that is both easily accessible and fun in flight.
A controlled glide
It owes its excellent glide to its slightly streamlined shape, with a tight rocker and a round point nose that doesn’t push much water. Its relative length, the double concave under the nose and the ADS (Anti Drift Solution) fin guide the board along a straight line for controlled take off. This is a big advantage when you’re a beginner, as it’s generally hard to control your trajectory and get enough speed before you start flying.

Stability at a standstill
The Zuma 2024 is even more efficient on take off thanks to its new tail and redesigned hull, and always with that characteristic glide. On a Zuma, you can allow yourself to paddle less in SUP foiling, you don’t need to ride overpowered when wing foiling nor to exhaust yourself pumping. As soon as you paddle or take your wing in hand, you can feel that the board is ready to fly. It’s super fun and of course super efficient.
Its very wide tail (flat and square on hull side and diamond on deck side) provides a lot of stability at a standstill, allowing you to wait comfortably for the sets or the gust. In wing foiling, stability is excellent in all phases, whether kneeling or standing. The traditional kick tail adds an extra bit of comfort during touchdowns and take off.

Two types of construction!
We offer two full-sandwich technologies on the Zuma:- The Zuma Wood 2X is fully reinforced over the fiberglass lamination with a vacuum-bagged wood sandwich and an extremely strong biaxial fiberglass strat. Fully reinforced, meaning the deck, the hull and also the rails, contrary to many brands.

- The Zuma FSP 2X is a fully vacuum-bagged sandwich of extremely strong PVC foam (Airex) with a density of 80kg/m3. This density is 3 times greater than that of our competitor’s EPS foam blanks! Once again, we cover the top, hull and rails with a super-strong, water-repellent 3mm shell.
