Reaching the outside is child’s play. The unique volume distribution of the Androgene provides a very good underheel hold which really brings stability when paddling is required (during a manoeuvre at the peak or when going to the outside…).
In its single fin setup, the board has a very small “row effect” and paddles very well in a straight line. No need to switch paddling hands all the time. You can pull hard on the paddle and concentrate on your direction.
Take-offs are really easy thanks to its unusual front rocker which mixes stability and progressive speed.
Heavier weights will really be able to learn on the Androgene board even in choppy water. Not as easily as on a 2Big but it is still an option worth considering.
Lighter weights will even be able to paddle on flat water and do some long distance paddling.
