Feedback from Nicolas on our Facebook page GONG Galaxy Group, who was able to test the Fluid M-H front wing with the new Neutra 2023.

“ALL MY SENSES EXPLODED! I continue my feedback of the few novelties that I currently have in test. Today, I’m talking about the Fluid M-H and the new Neutra 5 m2.
Conditions for the test: 20 knots of tramontana, flat water, I remind you that the guy weighs 88 kilos for 1m76, aged 49…
In these conditions, I’m generally riding the Neutra V2 5 m2 and Fluid L-S / Stab Fast 40. So I decided to go out with the Neutra 2023 5 m2 and Fluid M-H / Stab Pro H42, titanium Pro fuselage on my 85 centimeters carbon mast, with, under feet, my Lethal 4’10. That’s it for the gear!
On takeoff, it gets me off the ground as easily as the L-S. If I’m being tough, I have to let it slide for two more meters before I’m in the air. In any case, getting to fly was never a problem the whole session.
Once in flight, it slides on its own.
I felt the same thing yesterday on the Fluid XL-H: it’s very pleasant. The cool thing is that until now I was having fun in transitions with big front wings but as soon as I switched to L-S, exits from transitions, 360s, tacks were quite technical, especially to maintain the flight. Fortunately, with the M-H we keep a high speed all the way through. It’s awesome, everything goes more easily! Note that the Neutra 2023, like the Superpower 6 m2 tested yesterday, rolls from one ear tip to the other in transition without any effort and sits perfectly where it should…
“Here we enter another dimension.”
Let’s get down to business: jumps and FS360! Here we enter another dimension. To begin with, the speed of the M-H allows you to send big, the stab has a sick pop and the Neutra takes over by giving you a big kick in the ass! In terms of feeling, it’s more like a big air kite than a wing ?.
In rotations, it’s easy to place it above your head, the gain of amplitude in the movements is great.
Once over the fear of sending tricks higher than usual you enjoy the fact that you can land with some margin. I was a bit thrown off balance at first as I used to have my back hand on the first rear handle on the V2 for the FS360s, but just moving my hand forward on the new larger handle does the same job.
It might sound silly but I have a big crush on this set-up ! This gear will accompany me for the majority of my sessions to come!”
