The GONG workshop is running at full speed. Béryl performs the stratification of this Catch. For this board, the Bear opted for linen instead of carbon on the bottom. Linen is a natural material with excellent mechanical qualities, close to carbon but less fragile against dings. Its application is however often problematic because this natural fiber drinks a lot of resin. The choice is often to do an heavy layer of lamination or a layer not perfectly soaked. The second option is often preferred because it is painless for the durability and way much lighter. Only transparency makes it possible to see micro bubbles, but without affecting gluing or durability. It’s a great reinforcement material.
