The GONG SURF INFLATABLE COMPACT is perfect for summer waves.

It paddles fast for its size because it is thick. When you take off, you just have to plant the tail a little to start in three paddle strokes. Its surfing qualities are surprising with a one third very wide rear to accelerate, which naturally generates a lot of speed. And paradoxically, it turns really well thanks to its small size, which is very playful. For an inflatable board, the surfing performances are amazing.

It’s the ideal board for soft waves, but also for hollow shorebreaks which require a small board to slide down the slope gently. Its range of use is therefore really wide and will cover most of the summer sessions.

Safety is a key argument on this range of inflatable boards. Storage is obviously an asset, but the protection of the inflatable against impacts for both the surfer and the board itself are a real plus.

The 5’0 x 55L is intended for intermediate levels with small to medium builds.
The 5’6 x 62L is intended for beginners with small to medium builds but also for more advanced and heavier surfers.

In a nutshell

GONG was the first brand in the world to produce inflatable surfboards. Our know-how is therefore a reflection of our experience. GONG Inflatable Compact surfboards have a refined shape, unique in the world of inflatable, with a real affiliation with rigid boards.

These boards are reassuring by their generous width and volume allowing easy and fast take-offs even on the softest waves.

Their straight outline on the tail will boost acceleration. That’s why these boards perform in cool waves, without having to step up to a longboard. You just hop on it, give a little push and it bursts.

Its small size associated with a round and short nose ensures maneuverability and reactivity.

The very flat rocker at the rear third allows for a rapid speed gain with a good conservation of it on the soft sections of the wave.

The rails are round in front and hard at the tail which provides progressive grip while holding firmly in hollow sections.

It’s the inflatable board combining maneuverability and speed!

Rocker: almost constant and low with a kick nose. The board takes off early!!! Maximum speed.
Rails: hard at the tail and round all the way which gives a progressive and cool grip.
Volume: the thickness is generous and the width at the tail offers a reassuring volume at the take off.
Outline: Wide at the tail, moderate in the center with a median width and a thinner nose. It’s Simmons style!!!
Tail: big square tail to combine early take off, suppleness and radicalism.
Nose: round point nose that combines stability and radicalism.

For whom?

All those looking for something cool and carefree. A board that is super easy to store, solid, and reassuring.

This shape is short, therefore more technical. It’s ideal when you have a little surfing experience and know how to place your stance.

What’s it for?

Perfect for progressing and having a blast in waves that require acceleration.

This is a shape dedicated to soft waves or with long mellow sections. Its wide tail maintains speed and the small length of the board gives incredible responsiveness.

Some will also love this shape for its style of gliding, including in hollow and faster waves, to play with this reactivity.

What size?

The 5’0 x 55L is intended for intermediate levels of small to medium builds.

The 5’6 x 62L is aimed at beginner to intermediate levels of light to medium builds but will also suit bigger builds of good level.

Understanding the GONG range

All GONG inflatable surfboards are easy, practical and strong. You will progress quickly and really have a good time on these boards. But there are different programs and styles:

Shortboards: ideal in waves that push a little.
The Compacts: hyper reactive boards perfect in soft waves.

The most practical and top-of-the-range boxes in the world are finally available on our inflatable boards. With our patented inclusion system, you have access to FCS II performance, the best fins in the world, and all without a screw. Frankly that’s awesome.

GONG Inflatable Compact surfboards are equipped with top-of-the-range pads, with a good cover and refined profile which bring a maximum of grip.

Its rigid but foldable rear rails make it a digest of new technologies, providing performance without compromising the compactness of the inflatable.

There is no shortage of essentials, such as the stainless steel ring on the back to secure your leash.

15 psi fast inflation pump with pressure gauge and connectors.

Diamond EVA 5 mm tail pad to set your back foot.
