Wing Superpower 2023 Batten Tips - LDS

The GONG WING Superpower 2023 are equipped with an ear batten system. To replace a worn or lost batten, we offer our carbon batten system as a spare part.

The Batten Tips system consists of 3 elements; 2 x 8mm diameter carbon tubes and a 10mm diameter aluminium tube.

One carbon tube is supplied with the aluminium tube and a protective end cap attached to it. The other carbon tube fits on the other side of the aluminium tube. The mounted batten fits into the sleeve on the wing’s ears.

Note that on a long trip, having a spare set of battens can be a good idea ?

For the system to be complete, a Tube+Screw needs to be set at the end, paired with a clamping clip.

The batten and its batten tensioner allow for applying the required tension to the LDS system.

The Batten Tips system is offered individually, without the batten tensioner.
