Introduction

Longboard, 100% performance, for the smaller waves. She’s incredibly fast while paddling and her #1 quality is its fluidity in linking maneuveres without losing speed. its moderate rocker gives its the capacity to turn and to dare noserides in all sorts of waves. She has a trick repertory that goes from the classics all the way to pop 360°s with a predisposition for modest waves where you’ll get the most out of her.

A round tail ultra versatile and smooth. Rails, slightly rounded, notably at tail for hold on those extra tight turns. Outline worthy of that of competition Longboards. 2 FCS II/Futures Boxes and 1 US center for multiple Fin configurations.

This magnificiently glassed and shaped board offers all the qualities of small wave modern Longboarding.

This is the Longboard fluid and modern within the GONG Surf WCKF board range.

Ideal Waves

Size: knee to head high waves.
Strength: at its best in all sorts of waves, even in the mush.
Type: it can handle it all but prefers the glass, as do we all.

Stability

Less than 75 kg: very easy even for a beginner.
75 kg to 95 kg: easy, a super, very fluid, “do it all” board.
More than 95 kg: perfect and incredibly performant.
Skill minimum: beginning surfer. An incredibley versatile shape, not to mention the noserides.

Construction

These boards are built with WCKF, it’s the solid and high-performance technology at a competitive price. A beautiful modern composite construction. We apply a wooden plating on the entire deck and the hull. The goal is to have a board that is more resistant to shocks while surfing and on the ground

Board, 100% Epoxy over EPS foam : solid and light.
Deck and Hull in vacuumed wood sandwich : the wood is more resistant to shocks and absorbs the vibration.
Deck detail : 3 layers of Fiber Glass + wood core + reinforcements at sensitive points.
Hull detail : 2 layers of Fiber Glass + wood core + reinforcements at sensitive points like the Fin Boxes.
Rails : Full Kevlar Belt plus 5 layers of Fiber Glass overlay on the rails.
Reinforced Boxes and glued into a high density PVC foam with layers of FCV over them.
Pre-shape by digital control, and shape controlled by traditional templates, 100% Hand Finished.
Semi mat Pro Finish for a better glide, less sensitive to scratching.
This WoodCKFusion Techno is easily repairable, we have all the components necessary.
The WoodCKFusion is light, dynamic and remains supple and diminishes rebounding in the water.

With over 15 years of experience with this technology, we have been able to perfectly master all the components and its assembly. Choosing the good foam blanks. Stratification with no bubbles and with perfect cohesion to the foam and remaining ultra-light. Gluing the wood veneer as well as the Kevlar Belt by vacuum. Re-stratifying over this layer for the sandwich effect. Obtaining perfect water resistance.

And finalizing with a finish that makes it beautiful. That’s our Savoir Faire, and made better year after year.

Our factories work according to our specifications and it’s Patrice Guenole, our Shaper, that forms those who intervene in the fabrication of our technology.

We limit the contribution of excess material to each phase by learning advanced techniques to the workers. Thus, we save expensive and polluting material. But above all we reduce enormously the sanding phases. That means less fine dust in the air and more safety for the workers.

In addition, we use the best components to guarantee your board a maximum life. Fewer broken Boards = less waste and unnecessary production.

Leftover scraps of our fiber are used for box reinforcements. It is almost zero waste on this expensive and polluting material to produce.

The leftover foam is totally recycled. The large pieces are recycled to make new Blanks. Bubbles and shavings form the shapes are used by manufacturers who use it to padding in cushions for example.

At every stage of production, we have the permanent concern to save our planet.

Be careful not to confuse this technology with technologies that use wood for decoration.

Our use of wood is primarily mechanical. It is sandwiched between two sheets of Dyna fiber and Epoxy.

Some brands use wood as simply more decorative by placing it on the surface under a light varnish. At the slightest shock, it takes the water and the result is atrocious. Our wood is trapped between two thick layers of lamination. It’s reinforced concrete, not plastered!!!
