The Droid single-skin lowkite is designed for freestyle and powerful riding.

Compact, powerful, with a short bridle and a center of effort close to the rider: it's made for sending and linking technical maneuvers. Its lift is almost that of a wing: the pull is constant, and control remains perfect even on the most committed tricks.

It is ideal for those seeking power, precision and control while enjoying a responsive glide in all conditions.

With its low aspect ratio of 2.4, the Droid generates powerful torque and exceptional lift. The lowkite remains stable on all points of sail, allowing for effortless linking of tricks and rotations. A stable leading edge and diagonal ribs ensure a rigid profile and precise, instinctive, and efficient handling.

Control and stability

The leading edge overlay and extended infill panels ensure perfect profile retention. The elongated and rearward-set wingtips offer maximum stability for jumps and rotations. The rearward center of effort and size-appropriate bar make the lowkite maneuverable, comfortable, and ultra-responsive.

Freestyle and tricks

Positioned close to the rider for total control, the Droid facilitates rotations thanks to the relaxed inner bridle tip. The bar's angle correction makes steering natural, precise, and fluid, ideal for linking carves, jumps, and technical tricks.

Practicality and reliability

The addition of half-size lines, shorter pigtails, and different colored lines simplifies setup. Shorter pre-lines with neoprene sheaths make handling and quick relaunches easier. Even when overpowered or in gusts, the Droid remains stable, safe, and performs well, on flat water as well as in waves.

SHORT BRIDLE

The Droid features a short bridle system, but less extreme than the Neutra, offering an ideal compromise between accessibility and performance. With more bridles, the lowkite's profile is better maintained, enhancing its stability and precision in all phases of riding. This allows the lowkite to be kept sufficiently far from the water while maintaining excellent control.

The Droid lowkite is a lowkite designed for active sailing, unlike the Plus and Neutra models which are designed to be packed away once surfing on the foil.

The Droid lowkite is available in 2m², 2.5m², 3m², 3.5m², 4m², 4.5m², 5m², 5.5m² and 6m² . The size you choose depends on the rider's size and the wind conditions.

How to choose the right size?

Surf-Freestyle: Intermediate sizes (4m², 5m²) are the most versatile for sending maneuvers and surfing with control.
Downwind and light wind: The 6m² is ideal for maximizing lift and staying airborne without over-powering.
Strong winds / Maximum control: The 3m² allows you to sail in strong winds while remaining maneuverable.
