Presentation
Designed to support riders in their progression, the Catch Foil FSP 2X boards cover a wide range of kitefoil uses.
Its buoyant shape at the tail, combined with good volume, rocker, and a very forgiving nose, makes it an excellent choice for beginners while offering strong progression potential. It glides easily on the water without sinking at the slightest mistake. Because it glides so well, it takes off at your own pace without punishing you for every error.
This truly versatile board, both in terms of the rider levels it suits and the range of maneuvers it allows, is capable of going fast, jumping high, turning tightly, and linking any kind of tricks, all with added forgiveness.
You just need to pick the right size. The small one for light and experienced foilers, and the larger ones for heavier foilers and beginners.

OUTLINE
Its streamlined outline provides greater ease and glide during takeoff phases, as well as improved comfort in case of touch-downs.
ROUND NOSE
With its wide, rounded nose, the Catch offers more surface area under the front foot. Combined with a deep double concave on the hull, this configuration helps manage touchdowns in choppy water, even at steep angles.
DIAMOND TAIL
The Catch's wide diamond tail allows for immediate planing and reduces touchdowns. The area under the rear foot is narrowed to make any touchdowns both rare and gentle.
DECK
Flat deck for better control and steering precision.
HULL
Flat hull at the tail and sharply pronounced double V-concave under the nose to absorb impacts and provide greater control during touchdowns.
RAILS
The rails are carefully shaped to give the board a balanced feel. Neither too thick nor too thin, they reduce the impact of touchdowns thanks to beveled hull edges, while maintaining discreet volume for easier handling. The subtle sidewall integration improves rigidity and enhances impact resistance.

For whom?
From beginner to pro, the Catch Foil FSP 2X is for foilers of all levels and in particular those looking for versatility.
Light or heavy rider? You’re bound to find the perfect size for you in a range of 5 sizes going from 20 to 35L.
What’s it for?
Almost everything you love on a Foil is great on the Catch Foil FSP 2X.
- You want to start foiling: it’s perfect and will remain in your quiver for a long time.
- You want to fly early: it has huge volumes.
- You want to go fast: it loves it.
- You love strapless boards: its deck pad is awesome.

What size?

Understanding our kitefoil boards range
What is the ideal Kite?
The Catch Foil FSP 2X is fabulous with a Strutless to perform in winds below 20 knots. This kite is close to a race kite in its abilities, but with the safety of an inflatable structure. It flies in nothing and holds crazy upwind courses, yet it’s a very maneuverable kite too. Perfect.
But the Catch is also a good match for the Unik which will bring a lot of maneuverability to link manoeuvers for example.
What is the ideal foil?
Beginners:
The X-Over foils (M and L) and Ascent foils (S, M, and L) are ideal for starting out with ease. Stable,
Beginner to Intermediate:
The Curve H (XXS, XS, and S) and Fluid H are excellent options for progressing in freeride and starting in waves, offering more maneuverability and responsiveness.
Advanced to Expert Levels:
Our wide range of Team Series V3 and Pro Team Series V3 foils allows you to choose the perfect setup for your style:

Which Stab?
After selecting the front wing that suits you, we recommend choosing the corresponding stabilizer (stab) to get the most out of a setup designed with matching performance goals.
In kite foil, we recommend stabilizers with a very small surface area. It’s absolutely possible to pair a medium-sized front wing (size M) with a small stabilizer (size S).
Which Mast?
For beginners, a shorter mast is easier to handle: 70 cm is ideal for the first sessions, then you can gradually move up—or go directly to around 100 cm if you’re feeling confident.
An intermediate mast, such as 85 cm, makes wave riding and freestyle easier, but offers less room for error in maneuvers like tacks or in full-speed choppy conditions.
For racing, high modulus (HM) masts of 100, 107 and 112 cm will be perfect.
Quiver partners?
The Catch Foil FSP 2X has been tested from 4 knots to over 60 knots of wind with success. Suffice to say that it has no limit. But the optimum foil program is 6kts to 25kts for most people.
The obvious choice is to complete it with a kite surfboard for the wind range over 20 knots.
Into dock starts? The smallest sizes of the Catch are great with any of our big foils.
What settings?
The wide range of possible adjustment for the footstraps inserts and the foil in the US GONG box (with double entry rails to fit our SCS system) make it possible to perfectly set the board for beginners. By adjusting the settings they can ride very forward of the foil which makes the board calmer and more predictable on take offs. You can then gradually bring these two points closer together (foiler support, and center of thrust of the foil) to achieve the perfect flight balance and perform once you have reached the sufficient technical level.
A beginner will move the footstraps all the way forward and set the foil all the way back.
And a pro will set the back strap fully back and the front strap in the middle. While his foil will be between the center and the back third of the boxes.
Strapped or strapless?
Riding strapless is sexy because you feel free. But quite honestly, performances will be lower.
So it’s up to you to see if the feeling prevails over the performances.
With straps you will have a lot more control and a lot less risk of hitting the foil that flips under your feet. You can recover from crazy situations just by pulling on the feet. You can go faster, jump and push for tricks.
Put your straps in the central position (3rd hole) for the fronts, and the same goes for the rear strap if you are always riding in the straps.
If you want to be able to remove the back foot for pumping, place the rear strap at the first or second hole.

- 2 US GONG Box Double Entry for standard foil plates equipped with 4 screw + nuts (9cm center distance). Compatible with our SCS system. This new system allows ultra-fast assembly of GONG foils. (INSERTS NOT SUPPLIED WITH THE BOARD).

Delivery
Delivery delay
We indicate a preparation and shipping time of 3 working days. In reality, the majority of orders are shipped within 24/48 hours.
The delivery time, i.e. delivery time of the package to your home, then depends on the delivery location and the carrier.
We work with reliable and efficient carriers. 99% of shipments go perfectly and quickly. In the case of the remaining 1%, rest assured that we will do what is necessary with the carrier.
Shipping fees
Unlike other sites, shipping costs are not hidden behind the price of our products. You know exactly what shipping costs you, and you are not disadvantaged if you choose to collect your order at our GONG Space Center.
Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight and volume of each package, and your delivery address.
Tracking your package
Delivery tracking is managed directly by the carriers to whom we have entrusted your packages. They will contact you by email or SMS to allow you to choose delivery methods and follow the route of your package.
Carriers
We work with the best transport societies to deliver to you throughout Europe and the world within very short deadlines. We chose them for their quality of service and their compliance with deadlines.
For mainland France, 80% of your orders arrive at their destination in less than 48 hours of processing.
For Europe, delivery times vary from 3 to 6 working days, depending on the country of destination.
For the rest of the world, delivery times depend on transit time and customs clearance time. This delay depends on customs and can last from a few days to a few weeks depending on the destination and seasonality.
Please note, transport time is added to preparation/shipping time. Two companies collaborate on your order (GONG and the carrier). Each one masters its activity and is committed to optimizing its deadlines so that you are delivered as quickly as possible and at a reasonable price.

Despite our requirements and all the care we take in the packaging and protection of your product, transport hazards may occur, and your product may suffer more or less significant transport damage.
Note that the products are protected in their carton. If you have any doubts, simply refuse delivery and contact us.
