Presentation
The Display is our most accessible , reliable and most predictable kite.
What we love about this kite is that it does everything well. Very stable , you feel relaxed with the kite at its zenith. Low aspect ratio, it's easy to relaunch. Powerful, you don't need to overpower to have fun. Great depower, you feel safe in the upper wind range.
Very clear in the bar with its direct 6-point bridle, you will immediately find your bearings for maximum enjoyment .
What makes the difference in 2026 is the even improved flight consistency : a rounder outline, a more consistent arc, new segmentation, and new bridle system. The behavior is smoother, more predictable, and even more stable to avoid any surprises ;-)
Its comfortable wind range, direct feel, and flight stability make it the best kite for progression . The Display will settle into place easily to optimize your tacks. It's so predictable that you'll quickly be able to think about other things besides looking at it: transitions, tricks, surfing, etc.

3-strut design
Its 3-strut design offers the best compromise between rigidity and lightness, resulting in exceptional versatility. The three struts provide excellent responsiveness while maintaining profile stability for control. These qualities enhance its wind range and performance. Hybrid C Shape
The Display is a hybrid C shape: a modern and dynamic shape that delivers maximum performance while remaining simple and lightweight.
The turning radius is reduced and the arc is more consistent on the 2026 version: the kite pivots cleanly, without unwanted behavior. Handling is more predictable throughout the entire wind window.
The kite is precise and responsive, just enough to boost feel and performance. This balance between liveliness and profile stability allows for very clean, intuitive default settings, resulting in incredibly smooth bar feedback and effortless micro-control. The feel is pure and direct, making you feel truly connected to the kite.
Direct bridle
The new 6-point bridle without pulleys, with its reduced diameter, minimizes drag while maintaining impeccable mechanical characteristics. The kite is more streamlined in flight and the bar feedback is even more direct.
The Display 2026 retains a short bridle on the fronts to avoid tangles in the tips, while gaining in precision.
The adjustment points on the back allow you to adjust bar presence and responsiveness according to your preferences.
Everything is more intuitive to stay in sync with the kite, from the first waterstart to the challenging tacks.
Reactive tips
The tips play a major role in the kite's behavior. By combining perfectly distributed tension, a rounder outline with an extra section at the tips and a moderate surface area, the 2026 Display gains fluidity in turns and stability at the zenith.
It's maneuverable yet docile. Everything remains under control. Every action is clear, which prevents being overtaken by a kite that's too lively and doesn't provide feedback through the bar.
With the Display, a bar action always remains readable.
Low aspect ratio
The low aspect ratio of the Display offers a very reliable feel that allows you to progress without stress.
This compact kite offers the best balance between power and docility.
The power is effective even at low speeds. You can feel the strong air pressure. The feedback is crisp and allows for easy control. This linear power delivery is combined with a bridle that allows for instantaneous depower.
This low ratio prevents it from going too far to the edge of the window, avoiding many of the errors typical of this flight zone.
Everything is designed to make you feel confident and enjoy yourself from the very first outings.
All these features give the impression of knowing the kite inside and out from the very first session.
Easy relaunch
The highly curved leading edge and smooth outline make it easy to rotate the kite on the water to position itself on one wingtip and relaunch easily.
This ability is essential at the beginning of the progression and remains very valuable afterwards.

Shape:
- 3-strut design: very good weight/stability ratio for excellent performance, while remaining easy to fly (relatively light).
- Hybrid C shape: modern, stable, predictable, and dynamic design. Projection coefficient: 63%: fairly closed arc.
- Low ratio (4.4) and centered surface area for good low-end power and a very smooth, linear feel throughout the entire wind window. It's also extremely stable at the zenith and very forgiving of mistakes.
- A forgiving profile for maximum stability in light wind and in case of piloting errors.
- Moderately thin leading edge in the center for a fast and thin kite in the air, while maintaining cross-section on the tips to retain surface area and rigidity during high stresses in moves or in high range.
- A significant, moderately advanced draft provides good low-end power and balance. It reduces kite stress, is less technical, and requires less kite size. A smaller kite is more responsive, lighter, easier to relaunch, etc.
- Freeride / evolution outline: highly curved leading edge for "automatic" relaunch. The kite can roll on the water to return to the takeoff position by gently pulling a rear line.
- Segmented battens: more rigid at the connection with the leading edge: very crisp handling, more power for the same surface area, more stability at the high end of wind range. The profile really holds its shape exceptionally well at the high end of wind range for a 3-strut kite.
- Round tips with a moderate surface area maintain good responsiveness without being overly sensitive: a perfect compromise between maneuverability, stability, and intuitiveness. You always have a perfect feel for the kite's position in the window.
- The closed tip shape results in a smaller turning radius and good stability at the zenith. The kite is responsive and doesn't drift out of control at the edge of the wind window. It performs better and requires less piloting.
- Light canopy tension , mainly at the tips, to keep the kite docile and smooth, with strong depower.
- The bar feedback is incredibly intuitive: you always know exactly where your kite is thanks to the constant, precise bar pressure. It's never absent. You can really "hold on" to the bar without making any major mistakes.
- Significant depower for a wide wind range and a safe feel. We have power on demand when sheeted in and a large depower range when fully depowered. The large depower range is reassuring.
- The kite's shape is "self-stabilizing" thanks to its low aspect ratio and deep draft, which effectively "catches" the air. The set-back wingtips distribute the weight slightly towards the rear of the kite to prevent dives and stalls. The result is a predictable and stable kite for maximum safety.
- Short bridle lines prevent tangling in the tips and make the kite more responsive. Attached at 6 points, without pulleys for a more direct feel and improved flight control.
- 2 rear attachment points to adjust the responsiveness and bar presence according to each person's feel.

What size?
The Display, with its low aspect ratio and powerful profile, is a kite that you don't need to overpower to have fun with.
Choose your kite by following our recommendations below. Wind ranges always depend on your weight, skill level, and the board under your feet!
Bar size:
The length of your bar will directly impact the overall feel of your kite. Remember that the longer your bar, the easier it will be to turn your kite. This is especially important when using larger kites, particularly in very light winds, to maintain good responsiveness. The increased leverage compensates for this natural loss of responsiveness.
Keep in mind that, conversely, the smaller the kite, the faster it will turn! Therefore, using a smaller bar allows you to balance the kite's behavior and make it more responsive. You must take these parameters into account when choosing your bar size and adapt your riding style to your preferred feel and the conditions you encounter.
- If we are looking for smooth and progressive steering, we must "undersize" the size of our bar.
- If you prefer fast and responsive steering, you should choose a larger bar.
The key size is the 52cm bar. This is the most versatile bar and the one to choose if you only want one bar for a 7-9-12, 8-11, or 8-10-13 quiver.
When you have an extensive kite quiver, it's essential to also have a quiver of bars to maintain a balanced feel when switching from a small kite to a larger one. Also note that having two bars reduces wear and tear on the parts by half!
Here are our recommendations:
The recommendations above are based on the behavior of GONG kites. Since our bars are compatible with a wide range of kites, you can adapt your choice according to the type of kite you use.
Line lengths:
Your FeelX bar comes standard with 80cm pre-lines, 19m of lines and 3m extensions already mounted.
The original setup is the most versatile and will be your best choice for 90% of your sessions.
One of the main advantages of the Display is the great tolerance afforded by its shape. By playing with its lengths, or even modifying them using our extensions (sold separately), you further boost its versatility!
- 22m lines:
The "standard" bar length allows for a more progressive and predictable feel (recommended setting for progressing kiters). Your wind window will be larger, thus providing more power at takeoff. This is the preferred setting for low and mid-range conditions, and for everyday freeride use.
- 19m lines:
Shorter lines offer a more direct kite response, increasing its responsiveness. The wind window will be shorter. This is the perfect setup for advanced kiters, ideal for wave riding or foiling, for added agility.
If you choose to sail with short lines, you will also gain comfort in high range.
Note that 22m and 19m are not extreme line lengths and remain a fine adjustment to your piloting feel.

Delivery
Delivery time
We indicate a preparation and shipping time of 3 working days. In reality, the majority of orders are shipped within 24/48 hours.
The delivery time, i.e. delivery time of the package to your home, then depends on the delivery location and the carrier.
We work with reliable and efficient carriers. 99% of shipments go perfectly and quickly. In the case of the remaining 1%, rest assured that we will do what is necessary with the carrier.
Shipping fees
Unlike other sites, shipping costs are not hidden behind the price of our products. You know exactly what shipping costs you, and you are not disadvantaged if you choose to collect your order at our GONG Space Center.
Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight and volume of each package, and your delivery address.
Tracking your package
Delivery tracking is managed directly by the carriers to whom we have entrusted your packages. They will contact you by email or SMS to allow you to choose delivery methods and follow the route of your package.
Carriers
We work with the best transport societies to deliver to you throughout Europe and the world within very short deadlines. We chose them for their quality of service and their compliance with deadlines.
For mainland France, 80% of your orders arrive at their destination in less than 48 hours of processing.
For Europe, delivery times vary from 3 to 6 working days, depending on the country of destination.
For the rest of the world, delivery times depend on transit time and customs clearance time. This delay depends on customs and can last from a few days to a few weeks depending on the destination and seasonality.
Please note, transport time is added to preparation/shipping time. Two companies collaborate on your order (GONG and the carrier). Each one masters its activity and is committed to optimizing its deadlines so that you are delivered as quickly as possible and at a reasonable price.

Despite our requirements and all the care we take in the packaging and protection of your product, transport hazards may occur, and your product may suffer more or less significant transport damage.
Note that the products are protected in their carton. If you have any doubts, simply refuse delivery and contact us.

Which freeride kite should I choose?
In our comprehensive range, we have various freeride kites. Depending on your conditions and skill level, you should choose one model over another.
- Display: The ultimate freeride kite, it's the most versatile model regardless of skill level or conditions! With a good low-end range and a stable 3-strut shape in strong winds, the Display has a very wide wind range, always with unparalleled ease of use! Intuitive freeriding, no matter the wind strength.
- Vertigo: High-performance freeriding! Like the Display and Unik, the Vertigo lets you have a blast on any board. However, with its precise handling and consistent pull, this kite is best suited for advanced kiters. The Vertigo is fast, reacts incredibly quickly, and delivers an impressive jump boost. Freeriding, yes, but in supercharged mode!
- Unik: This kite is designed for freeride, but primarily to facilitate kiting in light winds or when underpowered. Its single-strut shape provides impressive lightness and excellent stability across the entire wind window. You feel safe even in winds as low as 10 knots. If you frequently kite in light wind conditions and enjoy switching between twin tip, surfing, and foiling, this model is perfect for you!
What inflation pressure?
The recommended pressure is indicated in the table below:
Several factors must be taken into account:
An underinflated kite will be unstable and difficult to control in gusty winds. Relaunching will also be more complicated with a kite that doesn't hold its shape.
An overinflated wing will increase the risk of explosion during a crash and will cause the seams and materials of your kite to wear out more quickly.
If you keep your kite inflated in the sun for a long period, we recommend deflating it slightly to reduce the risk of seam fatigue.
Kite with or without pulleys?
The primary goal of the Display is to combine versatility and simplicity.
On the 2026 version, the new 6-point bridle without pulley offers a more direct bar feel, while remaining very forgiving thanks to the low ratio and powerful profile.
This keeps the kite easy to fly, but with sharper control and fewer wear parts on the bridle.
Bar compatibility?
The Display was developed to work with the FeelX bar. Our bar has 4 lines of the same length and a low V at the front.
The attachments for the lines at the bridle level are:
- Kite-side loops for the front lines
- Kite-side knots for the back lines
How do I maintain my kite equipment?
To increase the lifespan of your equipment, how you use it and its regular maintenance will be very important.
A key point when using your kite: do not leave it inflated for long periods of time without being used! The flapping of the fabric in the wind can cause premature wear of the materials, as can prolonged exposure to UV rays.
Frequent rinsing of your kite under running water is also discouraged. The chlorine in tap water can damage the surface treatments of your kite. Instead, you should store your kite dry and remove any excess sand.
Always rinse your tiller with clean water to remove sand and salt. Remember to also open the safety release to rinse the inside. Let it dry before reassembling it.
If the slat or leading edge is punctured, use your repair kit, or consult our spare parts to order the replacement part.
Regularly inspect the condition of your kite. Look for any holes or cuts and have them repaired before they get worse.
