Foil Stab Trail V3 Atmo - Perf Series
Description
Programme
The ideal stab for discovering pump foiling. Delivering powerful lift, reassuring stability and excellent efficiency, it supports progression with great effectiveness.
Overview
The Trail V3 Atmo Perf Series stabiliser makes pump foiling accessible and intuitive.
With its medium-length shaft and generous profile, it delivers plenty of lift from the very first pumps, letting you get going smoothly without any stress.
Ideal for dock starts and flat starts, this stabiliser makes for quick, confidence-inspiring handling. Its predictable behaviour helps maintain a steady cadence, making it easier to learn pumping and transitions.
It keeps the shape and construction that made the Trail V3 such a success, now with a brand-new Atmo look. A sleek, race-inspired full black design that reinforces its premium character and instantly marks it out as part of the range.
Its forgiving profile smooths out mistakes in foot pressure and stance, turning your energy into glide and helping maintain extended flight with reduced effort. It is not a stab built for top speed records, but it is incredible at low speed, offering huge confidence and endurance.
Built in multiaxial prepreg fibreglass, the Trail is robust, lightweight and durable all at once. Its high-end construction guarantees consistent performance and outstanding reliability, session after session.
Thanks to our technical innovations such as the ovalised V3 fuselage and the self-tightening interlocking system, stiffness is optimal and responsiveness enhanced, delivering top-level performance and a flawless experience.
With the Trail, discover the magic of pumping and refine your technique with a stabiliser that is perfect at every stage of your progression.
Pumping dedicated outline
The Trail stab's 7.7 aspect ratio delivers an excellent mix of hydrodynamic efficiency, low-speed support and pumping control.
Its elliptical outline is only lightly pinched at the tips, nicely rounded, and designed to align the thrust from each pump in a forward-driven approach. With every oscillation, the foil converts the rider's energy more efficiently into useful forward motion.
The feel is free, efficient and very easy to read. You keep a stab that helps you find a steady cadence, without making the foil physical or hard to handle.

Propulsive profile
The Trail profile is specifically tuned to support the pumping oscillations and help the foil move forward with every pump.
It is thick enough to bring stiffness, responsiveness and solid support at low speed, yet balanced enough to maintain good glide and limit physical effort.
Its lift-to-drag ratio is optimised to keep your heart rate down as much as possible. The rider stays flying for longer, with less effort and more consistency.

Flat dihedral
The Trail stab is flat through its central section to maximise glide, low-speed support and pumping efficiency.
The tips curve slightly to add extra yaw stability. The foil smooths out unwanted movements more effectively and stays easier to control during pumping phases.
This balance brings tolerance without locking the foil in. You keep a healthy, predictable and accessible feel to learn how to pump properly.

Medium connection
The fuselage length of the Trail stab brings the right balance between pitch stability and freedom of cadence. The foil stays composed enough for learning, without becoming too long or too slow to build speed again.
This moderate length lets you increase your cadence as you progress, draw a few nice carves and keep the pumping lively.
It also allows you to use slightly larger surface areas to properly balance the pumping, maintain support and keep a good lift-to-drag ratio.

Buying guide
Who is it for?
Beginner or intermediate, this stab is mainly aimed at anyone wanting to get into dock starts or flat starts with an easy, forgiving stabiliser.
It also lets those who aren’t cardio champions pump for longer without ending up completely wrecked ;-) You can take it easy.
What is it for?
The stab for discovering pumping, with optimised glide and remarkable forgiveness. Perfect for dock starts, flat starts, and riders looking to progress.
What size?

General guidelines for choosing stab sizes:
Your preferred size will depend on your craft, your level, your weight, the conditions at your spot, and also your front wing.
A larger stab will make take-off easier because the foil will generate significant torque, which will tend to give it a higher angle of attack. This also means a more pronounced return under the front foot.
A smaller stab will be more technical on take-off but will boost speed and manoeuvrability. You also lose some pressure under the front foot, which means moving the foil forward in the boxes to regain that stability.
Always match the stab size to the front wing size to achieve balanced flight and smooth harmony between these two components.
If you are unsure which size to choose, contact our customer service team.

Equipments
The stab comes with all the hardware needed to mount it to the fuselage:
- 2 M6 x 25 mm screws for the V3 SuperLock connection.
- Stainless steel hardware designed to handle foil loads and marine use.
- Simple mounting from underneath the stab, with just two screws.
- Quick connection, easy to install, stiff while riding and easy to remove after the session.
Delivery
Is the Trail made for learning pump foiling?
Yes. That’s its main purpose. It’s designed to make dock starts and flat starts easier, with a forgiving, predictable foil that performs efficiently at low speed.
What’s the difference between the Trail and an X-Over?
The X-Over is designed for learning foiling across all disciplines, with maximum stability. The Trail is specialised for pumping, with performance more focused on cadence, glide and endurance.
What’s the difference between the Trail and a Fluid?
The Trail is easier, more stable and better suited to low-speed, easy pumping. The Fluid is faster, looser and more demanding, with a more versatile, higher-performance programme.
Is it suitable for dock starts?
Yes. The Trail is ideal for nailing your first starts, finding a steady cadence and gradually extending your distances.
Is it suitable for flat starts?
Yes, with a suitable front wing and enough volume under your feet. It helps turn those first pumps into glide without needing a champion’s cardio. It still remains highly technical.
Is it a speed stab?
No. The Trail is not designed to break top speed records. It is designed to make pumping easier, more consistent, more sustainable and more accessible.
Which size should I choose?
Choose a larger size for more support, easier take-off and more comfort at low speed. Choose a smaller size for more cadence, less drag and more dynamic pumping.
Can it be used outside of pump foiling?
Yes, but that's not its main playground. It can help with speed build-up or in low-speed flight, but for freeride, carving or speed, an Ascent, a Curve or a Fluid will make more sense.
