Overview

The Fluid V3 Atmo Perf Series is the front wing that radicalises versatility. It maintains glide, comfort, and true pumping capability, but with a faster, more direct, and more responsive feel than a Curve.

It's the wing for riders who already know how to fly smoothly and want to move to a more committed style: tighter carves, faster lines, sharp accelerations, more dynamic changes of direction, and better connection with the foil.

Its aspect ratio of 8.4 provides excellent efficiency, but its elliptical outline changes everything. Lift is centred around the supports, the tips are freed, making the foil more manoeuvrable and responsive. The Fluid doesn't feel locked in: it moves, accelerates, pivots, and responds immediately.

The advanced tips project the centre of lift forward. The stabiliser works with more leverage, allowing for a reduction in its surface area, limiting drag, and increasing speed. The foil becomes freer, faster, and more efficient.

Its profile is designed to maximise average speed, with a range that extends higher than a wing very comfort-oriented. Yet, the Fluid retains true stall tolerance. It remains usable at low speeds, takes off properly, and maintains enough margin to avoid becoming exclusive.

In pumping, the Fluid is dynamic. It requires more precise pressure and a more active rhythm, but it returns a lot of energy. You can feel the foil moving forward with each push. It's a wing that loves to be piloted.

Its moderate anhedral and raised tips provide a very good balance between grip, freedom, and manoeuvrability. The Fluid easily enters carves, handles strong angles, and exits with speed. In surf foiling, SUP foiling, wing foiling, or wake foiling, it allows for a faster, more committed, and livelier style.

Built in the Perf Series, the Fluid V3 Atmo makes this high-performance shape more accessible with a solid, forgiving, and repairable prepreg fibreglass technology, while maintaining the V3 Atmo precision standard and the self-locking SuperLock connection.

Key Strengths

Every V3 Atmo front wing is designed to excel in its intended discipline, delivering the perfect balance of performance, ease of use, and control. The result is a foil that feels intuitive, efficient, and uncompromising.

Across the entire range, the V3 Atmo collection stands out for its exceptional glide.
Takeoff happens remarkably early, thanks to smooth, efficient lift that allows you to ride smaller wing sizes without sacrificing comfort. The more compact stabilizers further enhance this sensation, delivering a freer, faster glide.

This increase in glide, and the resulting reduction in wing surface, also boosts both top speed and average speed. With less material in the water, drag is reduced, allowing the foil to accelerate more efficiently and maintain higher speeds.

A constant profile across the entire wingspan provides outstanding stall resistance and excellent ventilation recovery. The foil remains flying at incredibly low speeds. It's truly impressive.

This gives riders more time to learn and progress through maneuvers, as the foil keeps gliding longer and more smoothly, with greater comfort throughout.

Tip-out tolerance is equally remarkable. You can ride confidently right at the surface, with the foil remaining exceptionally stable. Even breaches become barely noticeable.

Finally, the combination of the constant profile and an optimized composite layup delivers outstanding rigidity. The foil resists torsional flex, providing precise, responsive handling and a solid, confidence-inspiring ride.

A more efficient foil shape

One of the key elements in the evolution of this range is the complete redesign of our foils to increase their structural and hydrodynamic qualities.

The new round shape allows a 12% gain in glide and the thicker section approaching the stab increases the strength and rigidity of the foil.

Hours of calculations on extremely powerful computers have allowed us to optimize the smallest detail to maximize performance. The fillets of all our connections have been carefully studied and adjusted to minimize hydrodynamic disturbances and increase the rigidity and resistance of the assembly.

SuperLock Self-Locking System

The V3 SuperLock self-locking connection has been engineered to ensure a perfect fit between the front wing and the fuselage, even after countless hours on the water. The greater the load applied to the front wing, the more securely the connection mechanically locks itself into the fuselage.
This design delivers a direct improvement in stiffness, precision, and silent operation. The foil remains perfectly secure, with no unwanted play, even under heavy loads during carving, pumping, acceleration, powerful turns, or hard landings. Rider input is transmitted more efficiently, steering becomes more precise, and the feeling underfoot remains consistent.
The connection requires only two screws beneath the front wing. Assembly is faster, simpler, and more user-friendly for everyday use. Wings can be swapped in just moments without multiplying screws or complicating the setup.
The locking angle has been carefully engineered to combine maximum engagement under load with effortless disassembly after the session. Even after an intense ride, the front wing can be removed from the fuselage easily.
This self-locking concept has already proven itself over several years across our V3 foil platform. It is a genuine mechanical advantage: simple, fast, rigid, reliable, and built to last.

For whom?

The Fluid V3 Atmo Perf Series is aimed at riders who already fly at a good level and want a faster, more maneuverable, and more engaging wing than the Curve.

In wing foiling, it is perfect for those who want a more dynamic foil: more speed, more energetic trajectories, tighter carves, faster transitions, more engaged freefly, and a more direct feel underfoot.

In surf foiling and SUP foiling, it suits riders who want to tighten their lines, accelerate hard, surf with more speed, and exploit more dynamic waves. It requires more precision than a Curve, but it offers a much livelier ride.

In wake foiling, it appeals to riders who want to carve hard, vary their lines, break out of the wake, and enjoy a very responsive foil. It provides a lot of freedom in handling.

In kite foiling, the smaller sizes of the Fluid are suitable for riders who want a fast, maneuverable, and precise wing, with more responsiveness than an easier wing.

The Fluid is made for those who enjoy active piloting. It rewards good pressure, rhythm, precision, and commitment. It remains versatile, but it requires more skill and energy than an Ascent or a Curve.

To avoid if...

The Fluid is not the most logical choice for beginners or for progressing calmly after the first flights. For learning, the X-Over remains simpler. For easy freeride progression, the Ascent will be more comfortable. To access a high aspect ratio with more lift and smoothness, the Curve will be more accessible.

It is also not the most suitable wing if the main goal is to maximize low-end range, easy pumping, or ultra-efficient glide. In these areas, the Curve, Veloce, Sirus, or Trail will be more relevant depending on the program.

The Fluid requires more precise handling. If the rider wants a wing that smooths everything out, provides a lot of lift, and allows plenty of time, it's better to stick with an easier wing. If the goal is to have a faster, more responsive, and livelier foil, the Fluid makes perfect sense.

For what?

The Fluid V3 Atmo Perf Series is designed to accelerate piloting. It allows for gains in speed, maneuverability, acceleration, and precision while maintaining strong versatility.

In wing foiling, it offers a more energetic ride. It loves powerful carves, trajectory changes, quick transitions, more dynamic waves, and sessions where you want a foil that responds immediately.

In surf foiling, it allows you to surf faster, tighter, and with more acceleration than a Curve. It loves pushing waves, faster sections, committed carves, and riders who want a foil closer to a performance shortboard feel.

In SUP foiling, it offers a livelier and more precise behavior for riders who want to maintain speed in turns and exploit more powerful or cleaner waves.

In wake foiling, it provides a very playful foil, capable of varying lines, carving hard, and breaking out of the wake with immediate response.

In kite foiling, it brings speed, control, and maneuverability in smaller sizes for riders already comfortable.

The Fluid is therefore the wing for committed wave riding and performance freeride: it doesn't aim to make the foil passive, on the contrary, it encourages piloting, accelerating, tightening carves, and exploiting every pressure.

What size?

The Fluid is less oriented towards low-end range than the Curve, but it remains sufficiently forgiving to maintain accessible take-off and good lift at low speed. Its performance often allows choosing a reasonable surface without losing too much comfort.

Choosing a larger size allows for earlier take-off, comfort in lulls, and easier pumping. It's the logical choice for heavier riders, weak conditions, less powerful waves, or riders who want to keep some margin.

Choosing an intermediate size allows exploiting the best balance of the Fluid: speed, maneuverability, acceleration, glide, and versatility. It's often the most coherent choice for a rider who wants a high-performance all-round wing.

Choosing a smaller size allows for gains in speed, precision, and liveliness. It's the choice for experienced riders, more powerful waves, faster conditions, or those who want a more responsive foil underfoot.

In wing foiling, all sizes can work depending on weight, wind, board, and skill level. The weaker the wind or the heavier the rider, the more you will lean towards a larger size. As the skill level increases, you can reduce the surface to gain speed and maneuverability.

In surf foiling and SUP foiling, you need to keep enough surface to start correctly and accelerate, but avoid oversizing if the goal is to tighten carves and keep a lively foil. The right size is the one that provides enough lift without hindering handling.

In wake foiling, a larger size facilitates take-off and low speeds. A smaller size frees up trajectories and provides more speed.

In kite foiling, you should stick to smaller sizes to limit wingspan, maintain control, and avoid a foil that's too buoyant at high speed.

If hesitating between two sizes, choose the larger one to maintain comfort, low-end range, and margin. Choose the smaller one only if the skill level, conditions, and primary objective justify more speed, precision, and maneuverability.

Which stabilizer?

The Fluid V3 Atmo works ideally with a stabilizer that enhances its fast and maneuverable character without making the foil unstable. The right stabilizer should support speed, acceleration, and tight carves.

A larger stabilizer provides more stability, more front foot pressure, and more comfort during take-off. It's the most reassuring choice for a rider discovering the Fluid, for larger front wing sizes, or for irregular conditions.

A smaller stabilizer significantly frees up the Fluid. It increases speed, improves maneuverability, makes rail-to-rail transitions faster, and provides a more playful foil. It's often the natural choice as the skill level increases and you want to fully exploit the wing's potential.

The Fluid works very well with reasonably compact stabilizers, as its advanced lift center allows maintaining balance with less rear surface. This is one of the important levers to reduce drag and gain speed.

The right setup always depends on the front wing/stabilizer combination, but also on the foil's position in the boxes. If the stabilizer is smaller and the front foot pressure decreases, you will often need to move the foil slightly forward to regain a natural balance.

If in doubt, start with a comfortable stabilizer, then gradually reduce to free up speed and maneuverability. The Fluid loves fine-tuning: well-tuned, it becomes fast, precise, and very lively.
