Presentation

The Intruder is unlike any other: it’s a Formula 1 at paddling.

Intended for the pros, it’s also a board that will boost the sessions of experimented surfers.

Its paddling speed is incredible thanks to its ultra-sleek shape. It will allow you to drop super soon, or to use much smaller and more efficient foils than with any other shape.

It’s opening up surf foiling to new spots, new swell conditions, with the possibility to catch a wave on paddle power only and fly on a bump that hasn’t yet broken or even stood up. We all experienced those surf foiling sessions when there is too much water. The swell line is perfect but it’s impossible to take off. The Intruder is made for those conditions!!!

In strong winds with serious bumps, you can get going for a downwind with just a few paddle strokes. This means that a surfer who can take off on his belly doesn’t have to learn to stand up paddling. Time saving, incredible feeling, free hands. Beware, it’s very elitist.

Its pin tail and needle type of outline make for a racidal drive, even in tight turns. This pinched shape with minimal width will never restrain you.

The very round rails provide glide when paddling and on touchdowns. This is a pure rocket. The first paddle strokes are astonishing: such a glide!

The very discreet nose bulb and the controlled thickness of the Intruder provide additional comfort when paddling and at take off. You can start very early, effortlessly on all types of waves. Its flat deck brings a lot of control and precision in movements. The Intruder stays slim in thickness and volume so as not to be unnecessarily cumbersome. This is not a SUP board designed to paddle lying down. This is a surf foil board ;-)

Please note that the foil boxes are placed forward to lift the board very early and to stand perfectly on the middle of the board. This translates into a much more efficient pumping, and the sensation of having “no nose” despite the length of the board. You don’t feel like you’re standing on a big board, you really don’t. Yet, you enjoy the glide of a very big board.

Last important thing: the incredible paddling capacity of this board will change the life of surf foilers who don’t have enough cardio to pump back to the peak on repeat.

Paddling on your belly is a real pleasure with the Intruder, which glides just as a prone board. You can surf 300m and paddle back up to the peak without getting exhausted!!! A treat.

3 sizes of Intruder are available:

The 5’8 is the closest size to a 100% surf foiling use, with incredible paddling speed and responsiveness, it will blow any pro away. It will be very comfortable in small waves/swells, and will still perform very well in bigger waves.
The 6’8 is a true mid-length. You can catch pretty much any wave, take advantage of all the super tiny conditions and stay in performance ++ mode. On windy days, it will allow for super fast paddling, making offshore waves easily reachable.
The 7’8 is the perfect size for a longboard/downwind program. If you’re looking for a board capable of catching the smallest waves ever, with a very early take off, this is the most performant size.

No doubt, the Intruder is a real UFO.

OUTLINE

The Intruder’s outline is very similar to that of a long-distance prone paddle, which is very elegant on the one hand, and allows for effortless, high paddling speed on the other hand. In flight, the narrowness of the shape gives a very pleasant sensation of thinness, and offers an uncompromising radicalness given the total volume.

More and more glide and carves, with limited bulk.

ROCKER

The Intruder’s tight rocker offers effortless paddling and high paddling speed. The combination of this rocker with the outline of the Intruder makes insanely soft waves easy to catch.

RAILS

The Intruder’s round rails provide incredible glide when paddling.

TAIL

The Intruder’s pin tail improves glide, favors paddling and offers great freedom of movement in the tightest turns.

Mid-length Surf Foil Boards

We all dream of surfing these perfect but unsurfable waves offered by nature. With these bigger and narrow boards you can surf foil in conditions where only a SUP foiling board would be able to catch a wave.

There are people who love the feeling of taking off with a surfboard. It's very fulfilling: choosing the right wave, paddling, accelerating, getting up, dropping... taking off with a surf foiling board on a swell line that’s barely rising is ultra satisfying.

No need to find your balance standing on a narrow board with the paddle. You can paddle on your belly, wait seated, exactly as you would do with a retro longboard but with flying as your objective and the possibility to connect multiple waves.

A real plus in your quiver: a session saver!!!

Not to mention these boards are just beautiful to watch.

Downwind Surf Foiling Boards

Downwinders on SUP foil are as magical as they are hard to get into for most people. It’s a very demanding discipline (let’s just say standing on a downwind board in choppy waters requires serious skills ;-) ). Obviously it can be learned, and newcomers get into this surreal sport everyday.

We wanted to offer an alternative with downwind surf foiling boards having a high paddle speed, capable of starting lying down for a take off on a swell bump, so that surfers with an excellent paddle technique can downwind without having to learn how to do SUP.

Be careful, we don’t recommend anyone to try downwinder without sufficient practice and experience. You need to be appropriately trained on wind waves and offshore conditions before hoping to achieve a real prone downwind (with one or more safety devices, and never alone).

Fortunately for training, large boards are excellent paddlers and, on windy days, they will allow you to take off on offshore waves, only a couple of hundred meters from the beach, without effort: micro downwinds which are excellent training.

Here are a few recommendations on the choice of NOTW, Scura and Intruder size you need depending on your practice:

If you’re looking for a board to surf small waves or short period wind waves, the mid length boards from 5’8 to 6’10 are ideal for you. Fast when paddling and almost as responsive in flight as a small board, it's great.

If you want to do micro downwinders on waves/wind bumps, the mid lengths from 6’10 to 8’ will be perfect.

If your goal is to do prone downwinders (once well trained, fine-tuned, and with the necessary safety devices), you will need to opt for at least the sizes 7’8 and 7’10.

Epoxy resin and EPS foam blank: solid and lightweight.
Epoxy/carbon fiber and fiberglass stratification on a high density polystyrene blank 28kg/m³ reinforced by 1 wooden stringer of 3mm.
Deck detail: 1 layer of 6oz fiberglass and 1 layer of 6oz carbon fiber.
Hull detail: 1 layer of 6oz carbon fiber, with 2 patches of 6oz carbon fiber for reinforcement around the US rails to avoid breakage in front of the foil attachment during stalls.
PVC reinforcement 80kg/m3 with a thickness of 3.5 cm integrating the 2 US rails.
Resin tinted hot coat : nobility of the process, weight saving and solidity of the finish.
Hand-made matt “custom finish” for weight saving and a better glide.
This technology is easily repairable as new in the event of dings or accidents, and has an excellent lightness / dynamism ratio highlighting all the technical qualities of the shape.
These boards are 100% shaped and glassed in our factory in Asia, which strictly replicates our methods developed in France and tested worldwide.

The Intruder boards are perfect with the Curve H, Fluid H, Veloce H, Veloce HDW or Sirus.

The Curve H is a combo of responsiveness and lift.
It’s the queen for carving and low end conditions (which does not mean it can’t handle speed, on the contrary!). It is also the most comfortable foil for pumping, which allows you to make numerous connections when surf foiling without burning your thighs.

The Fluid H is a combo of responsiveness and speed.
Perfect for turning very short, going fast, glide and enjoying a very dynamic drive. Add to that a very powerful pop and you understand why this foil will go wherever you want, in the water or in the air!

The Veloce H is a combo of glide and versatility.
It is a freefly and downwind machine. It’s the foil to glide and connect bumps endlessly with incomparable fluidity. Accelerations on the wave are stunning and it has a very low stall speed which facilitates flight in all circumstances.
