Top plate for the GONG ALLVATOR V2 foil to fix on boards fitted with 2 US boxes.
This TOP PLATE in high quality aluminium fits between the mast of the GONG FOIL ALLVATOR V2 and the board. This system allows you to fix our foils on a board fitted with 2 US RAILS with a distance at the centre of 9 cm.
The new version has been revisited at the base to fit with the new profile of the mast of the GONG ALLVATOR V2. The masts’ hydrodynamics has completely been redesigned.
The masts longer chord fits perfectly into a female shape perfectly calibrated to maintain the optimum rigidity of the whole while it remains detachable. This has resulted in gaining in rigidity as well as suppressing almost any movement. The foil as a whole is a lot more precise and reactiv.
The Top Plate has also been reinforced in thickness in sensitive areas and more progressive filleting to transmit energy: much stronger.
The mounting holes that receive the Aluminium Mast of the GONG FOIL ALLVATOR V2 have been positioned to accommodate the considerable stress on these parts. The front portion of the profile is held much more firmly.
This adaptor fits on the mast with 3 screws (not included) and the board fit is done with 4 screws M6x30 + the US SQUARE (delivered with the Top Plate).

Foil is most often practiced in light winds which may cease to blow leading you to return to shore by swimming. As a consequence do not overestimate your your strength/capacity : never go further out than your skill and swimming capacities and wind conditions allow.
Always wear a helmet and life vest for floatation. Always wear a full body wetsuit.
When handling the Foil, be careful not to cut yourself along the edges.
