We have managed to deliver ahead of schedule to respond to your many demands following the release of this new equipment developed in cutting-edge technology.

The techno:

TORAY M40J high modulus carbon offers incredible stiffness. It is a high-end carbon that delivers high mechanical properties while remaining resistant. A carbon popular in aeronautics as well as for high-end sports equipment. Its mechanical characteristics such as its superior tensile strength and Young’s modulus make it possible to obtain exceptional performance on the water.

The huge advantage of high-end carbon is its stiffness. This carbon is thinner but also denser which stiffens the mast and increases the number of layers. Because this HM carbon mast contains twice as many layers as a V2 carbon mast for example, but without having to thicken it. A solid and rigid mast with contained weight, since its weight is almost 20% lighter compared to an aluminum mast. And beyond the measured weight, the dynamism brings a feeling of liveliness and therefore of incredible lightness.

The HM coupled with the stringer increases the performance of this mast tenfold. The decrease in bending is around 30% and the decrease in torsion is around 40% compared to the V2 carbon mast, yet of excellent quality.

Three sizes available:

The 70 cm HM Mast is dedicated to high performance surf foiling or SUP foiling use. It eliminates all blurred or parasitic movements, we no longer lose energy in imbalances. It is therefore naturally during pumping that the difference is most noticeable. Connections are easier and less energy-consuming thanks to perfect control of flex and twist on this mast. And this is even truer with high ratio wings which put a lot of strain on the mast. All it takes is a simple dock start to immediately feel the difference. In surfing, the trajectories are simply much more precise, you can use the performance of your foil at 100%.

The 85 cm HM Mast is dedicated to high performance in wing foiling, be it in freestyle, freeride or wave riding. Its length provides great versatility and tolerance. The curves are healthier, without being overwhelmed, the pumping is very effective because it is more precise. Its profile becomes much thinner, in thickness and in chord, as it approaches the fuselage, which makes it possible to reduce drag and reach higher speeds. At the level of the fuselage, the thickness is reduced by 12% compared to the V2 carbon mast.

The 92cm HM Mast is about high performance in wing foiling for Racing / Slalom and kite foiling. Far from the chop and with comfortable margins, we can go faster, stronger, further in the actions. Thanks to its high tech construction, its profile is even more refined, in thickness and in chord, as it approaches the fuselage, which reduces drag, meaning it can reach the highest speeds. On the upper part of the mast, the thickness is reduced by 12%, and at the level of the fuselage, the thickness is reduced by 22% compared to the V2 carbon mast. These are huge reductions on a key element regarding the overall drag. The speed gain is amazing.
