Deviating from the course set by the inertia of rigid concepts is one of the fundamental freedoms that we have been keen to preserve at GONG since our beginnings.

You have to go off the beaten track to make true discoveries. To go down this road you need curiosity, inventiveness, boldness, talents that support you and to give yourself the means to spend time on this road. Resources and enthusiasm that the passionate people we count among our ranks all share. Starting with L’Ours who comes up with a new idea every minute! Ideas which are often put to the test and made available to you when we have a validated concept.

Like the Carter Surf Foil 9’0 that we presented to you 4 years ago. Born from the idea of taking it easy, by paddling and taking off long before the wave hollows out, on barely “surfable” undulations. The Carter Surf Foil offered a more relaxed approach than the small boards usually used for surf foiling. This extension of the practice of surf foiling echoes today with the conquest of the lightest conditions achieved in a stunning way by the Cruzader, the HIPE Cruzader and the giant wings in Wing and SUP foiling. Developments that come together on this same road, that of innovation for ever more fun on the water. A pleasure that cannot be missed in this vintage video 😉
